Post by: Claus on September 30, 2018, 11:47:56 PM
Who owns the reliable information that the network bitcoin uses more than 80% of the countries separately electricity. Bitcoin also multiplied by several times the amount of energy consumed in the last year. Is this really true, who will say? So there are thoughts that bitcoin in a couple of years will be a threat to the energy situation on the planet?

I don't know if in Bitcoin Network electricity consumpt. But I've read many news about Bitcoin Mining and the average is 0.33% - 0.5%.
But if any rumor that said the network bitcoin uses more than 80% of the countries separately electricity I don't know for reliable news. But in my opinion, for now there's too much if consuming 80%.

I thing that is impossible if bitcoin use around 80% of the energy, because I seen bitcoin isn't famous in some country, for example in my country, here just around 20% peoples know about bitcoin and not most people mining bitcoin, maybe they just trading or just hold it and that no need to much energy because we can do that only by smartphone, if bitcoin use more than 80% or the energy, that is possible? I think no, and also not all country can use bitcoin.
If all the world already accept bitcoin and all people mining bitcoin, maybe you can say if bitcoin using more than 80% of the energy in the world.
