many people choose to buy Coins when the ICO for reasons of cheap coins and get a discount, so it can be profitable.
but have you ever tried to buy after the ICO ended and the token price dropped to 10x below the ICO price?
is it more for after or after ICO?
with a note after the Dump coin ICO price.

If myself, I will choose buy when ICO, because as like you say, we will get discount and cheap price, after the coin listed at the exchange, we can sell it there and get a profit.

If You buy after the ICO, yea you will get it in really cheap price, but for what you buy this coin? for hold it or long term investment?
I have hold coin for 3 Years, but the price isn't expensive like my expectation, if I sell it now, I'm not get enough profit, maybe isn't balance with how long I'm hold that coin.
I think, to choose coin after ICO for long term investment it need good experience and should know how good the prospect of that coin in the future.

Normally, buying when ICO should be cheaper than once it has listed on exchanges. The project provide big discounts + other advantages for the investors who buy during the ICO. But in fact, we often find that the price of coins cheaper once it has listed on exchanges. I think it is dangerous if all investors think to buy only after ICO. I am afraid many projects will fail and stop their token sales yet they can not meet the softcap.

I think it would be better if we bought a coin when the ico in a progress. it will help us with the discounts that offered. but we also have to be smart in choosing ico that good so that they can get a satisfying profit.
