Title: Do you actually use Bitcoin?
Post by: yousufatik20 on October 06, 2018, 10:19:07 AM
As far as I am more and more in it, I can do some conclusions.

1) People are mostly not using the Bitcoin (altcoins as well);
2) Crypto-enthusiasts are real enthusiasts only when the price goes up;
3) Even considering there are more crypto-companies appear which offer their services, and more people join our community - the level of crypto education and adoption is still very low;

Almost 95% of all people in crypto I know personally are holding or trading, but not using it to its functionality. I cannot judge anyone for this, but let's be honest - it won't bring you any money if you just will buy it and wait.

So, there is a question: "How much of you use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to its full capacity?" I am curious about this because as for now it looks like there is only a small group of people making some contributions.

You are right, in fact, not many people use Bitcoin as money. I often use it for trading and only occasionally make purchases using Bitcoin online in stores or buying something from other people. Maybe when a business starts using Bitcoin to minimize the cost of international transfers, then Bitcoin will start to rise in price and its popularity will grow.

I think this will be a rapid world economic growth. Everyone considers technology as the main necessity, maybe someday bitcoin will become a digital asset all over the world in the future, and this is not excessive

That's right, actually there are currently more and more ways to use bitcoin in real life because there are already several cities in certain countries that have started it. But most people still choose to use Bitcoin only for investment and trade because they consider (including me) that bitcoin will have good potential in the future.

I use bitcoin only to pay for something or just keep it in my wallet or on the exchange. Bitcoin is now more like an investment fund that is getting bigger or smaller

I agree. If you want to make money on bitcoin you need to follow all the trends of the cryptocurrency world. I prefer to pay them for various services and make secure transactions. I get bitcoin for this reason.

Honestly, I don't use bitcoin as a transaction tool. I use trading more like people here. Various payments, bitcoin cannot really be applied. So, like it or not we can only use bitcoin as an investment asset or trading tool.

I just used bitcoin as an investment tool or an asset, not using it as a medium of exchange or an instrument of payment for an item ..

That is right, keep doing it. If you have another source of income beside from bitcoin then you can use it to finance the things that you need to pay like electricity cost and other things because bitcoin is the best for long term and you should keep it because in the future, it might be worth a lot of money and that is when you will just cash it out to enjoy the life and to give you kids the best taste of life.

I can only trade in the crypto market with Bitcoin and Altcoin that I have, much I want to do with the coins I have, but the rules in my country make me only able to invest and from there, I still keep crypto assets for the long term.Maybe now I can hold this coin but if one day the price goes up, I will sell it

I use it for trading only, but I do not use Bitcoin to buy things. Honestly, even if I could have this possibilityto do it, the choice would be the same. Bitcoin also nice just for holding! Look it almost 10000!

I don't use Bitcoin for payments (I use ether and Ltc instead because they are faster and cheaper), but I do keep BTC for holding value, like a gold.

I don't think anyone will use bitcoin for payments, remember the pizza story lol.

I lost that moment, but if we know the price of bitcoin will be what it is today, then there will be many people who hold Bitcoin at that time and get rich in an instant after seeing current bitcoin prices.
now I only use bitcoin to trade and just like other investors who use BTC to buy new altcoins

For real transaction in my country? Not yet, it is still forbidden to use cryptocurrency including Bitcoin for any transaction. So far, I don't find the merchants that accept BTC for the payment method in my country. That is why I still use it for only in the crypto world.

So, in what way you use the Bitcoin? I don't see you mention it on your comment. We know that there are many benefits of Bitcoin but commonly people use it for investment only. Yeah, it is the same as me, I use it for investment and trading in crypto space.

I use Bitcoin only for investment and coin trading.  I use Bitcoin to look for maximum profits, after I get a lot of coins I exchange my coins for banknotes here to buy items for my family.  Because indeed here, the use of Bitcoin for direct transactions is still banned by the Government.

it's true and I also strongly believe that most people don't use bitcoin, and most of them use bitcoin as a long-term investment tool or in cryptocurrency trading.

Yeah, commonly people use Bitcoin for investment [both for short and long term assets] and trading. I can understand why many people just focus on these sectors yet still many countries in the world don't accept Bitcoin as a digital currency using for payments tool.

I use other cryptocurrencies to make payments, and I like Bitcoin for making large payments and purchases or for storage and accumulation. Perhaps Bakkt will change its attitude towards Bitcoin and it will gain wider distribution and popularity.

Yes,you are right. I use bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for trading and exchanging to earn profit. These are only my assets. Because bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency are illegal of my country. So i can not use them for many purposes. I hope in future government will accepts bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.

yes I also agree with your opinion, because I myself am also happy to invest in crypto trading, because for me it is also good to get profit by waiting for the growth of market prices to rise

I only paid once with Bitcoin. Actually I am trying to accumulate it by two ways: 1. buy it directly at the exchanges 2. when I pay something in my national currency, for example I pay 3.50 , the 50cent to 4 are automaticcaly changed to BTC.
