We cannot prevent it anyway, all the exchanges will do the same thing in the future but still there is some risk with regards this thing. We should be careful by giving our information because not all exchanges is worth the risk. Binance I think is still not asking for KYC, this is a good exchange and maybe in the future KYC will be done with this exchange.

Actually there are many exchange doesnt need KYC the process is being required if you're going to do transactions more than 1 btc. I can see it is necessary so money process on the exchange with big amount can be sure safe and does not come from a hacked event or scamming. Procedures should be like this for our own safety as well. In fact KYC isnt that hard to do, just be careful on giving some identity,  cause iy might be use on fraudulent stuff.

If you want to exchange it to fiat then most likely you will go through KYC because it concerns fiat and the government is strict when it comes to those kind of platforms. If you want to buy or sell a coin in exchange of another coin then decentralized are the way to go if the coin you wanted is there. Some centralized exchanges do not ask for KYC if the amount you wanted to transact is below its limit.

There are many centralized exchanges actually that does not require KYC for minimum withdrawals like Mercatox, Coinexchange, ets. Also, DEX do not require KYC.

So far, almost all exchangers use KYC, but even though there is a KYC, not all exchangers limit their users if they don't do KYC.
usually in some exchangers, we can still do all things, only the difference is the withdrawal limit, and the withdrawal limit will be a lot if using KYC. all of the personal touches to choose it.

Kyc is most needed when we do exchange and especially like exchanging  a big amount,,,we have to give our personal informations only to a legit company, because as we know theres a lot of scammers spreading around.,so be wise and alert.

IDEX for a decentralized alternative. I think Kucoin you can do crypto exchange without KYC unless I'm wrong?
Unfortunately it's becoming more and more difficult, it looks like localbitcoins may gain more popularity in the future.
Doing fiat-crypto exchange is virtually impossible without KYC however  >:(

On most exchanges, you can trade without pass the KYC, as far as i know, they allow to trade worth of 2-3 BTC without verification. The other way is to talk with the traders who are in your country. Because it is hard to believe a stranger without bail.

I think if you have a question about trading with more than three or four bitcoins, then providing personal data should not cause certain problems. Moreover, you should only trade on the trading platform, which has a certain rating and trust from users of cryptocurrency. Thus, you will be assured of the safety of your personal data.

I don't know exchanges that allows fiat deposit /withdrawals without KYC.   Also ICO projects like ChangeNow that started without need of KYC, now requires KYC...

KYC is actually important to avoid misuse of assets and to make a claim if you are being hacked. If your goal does not want to know your transaction, then it is wrong. Digital transactions still have traces and are easy enough to find you.

I think there are now many exchange places that require KYC to be able to provide an identity that the owner or user is referring to as a genuine person and not a fake identity.

It seems to me that you shouldn’t have any difficulty because for the time being there are many decentralized exchanges that do not require KYC.

Is your friend from Russia? I think he should know about Joby's exchange. It can be displayed without verifying the identity of up to 2 ethers, if I am not mistaken. I do not advise trading there. There are a lot of fraudulent projects. I once lost -200 dollars. I was not disappointed. Not a lot of money. Now I do not know how things are.
