Hi i wonder which of those services is better?coinmarketcap or cryptocompare? Or would you say that it doesn't matter? or would even auggest to use another service for getting the latest courses?
-
I've been using them both for coinmarketcap its easy to filter all the coins listed in cmc, for people sentiments and opinion I am checking cryptocompare and to check also the public portfolio which is my favorite.
-
I prefer coinmarketcap to use, and I think I am very familiar with their site. I always check every coin in that site to find something and so far, I like the data. But later, I will try to visit cryptocompare, but I don't want to compare between coinmarketcap because every site will have advantages and disadvantages.
-
of course what I choose is coinmarketcap.
-
If you can't decide clearly on what to use then why not using both where you can compare each price of the same cryptocurrency. Example btc in coinmarketcap is in 6k usd while in cryptocompare is in 6.1k something like that. You should compare both as we don't know if they had the same price or not and you may use cryptocompare if there's a little issue in coinmarketcap (if there is) or use coinmarketcap if cryptocompare had issue (if there is a problem/issue). If both are okay you can use both if you like (YOUR OWN CHOICE ACTUALLY), there's nothing you can lose if you try using both.

Dominant to know more about coinmarketcap as a cryptocurrency information center. I like to use CMC because it's easy to use and looks fast in terms of updating crypto prices.
-
I always check both, but the reply sent select, I chose coinmarketcap. CMC is already more to know everyone, and easy to understand.
-
I think the function is the same but in coinmarketcap it is rare or time span to be able to recap all the coins takes a long time, but for cryptocompare I think the auto refresh time can be in minutes so it is more real time for cryptocompare.

I still prefer coinmarketcap because it has lots of coin listed in as compared to cryptocompare, but on a good day coinmarketcap got lots of advantage ahead of cryptocompare

I just found out about the existence of a resource like cryptocompare. Always used coinmarketcap, it's just that it is at everyone's hearing and the most popular. But for me there are drawbacks to it, just not all tokens appear there quickly. It is usually easier to find the right token through a search engine to find out its price. Everyone chooses himself.
-
Cryptocompare is great for inputting a portfollio, and tracking the collective values, portfolio risk, etc. I really like the UI for this.
Coinmarketcap I find better for it's ability to see the Top 100, biggest gainers, social news, whereas cryptocompare is good better for analytics I find.
I'm also a fan of onchainfx that gives the option of useful tabs such as % down from ATH and annual ROI etc.
The more price tracking websites the better in my opinion! I'll use them all :)
-
Yes both are really good on trackings the prices of our holdings. For me I'm also using coinmarket for checking of bitcoin and eth price and some of coins while on cryptocompare just like on others I'm mostly using it for portfolio.
-
Coinmarketcap has its own standardization to register a token or coin, which makes coinmarketcap the choice to measure the project is still alive. Compared to cryptocompare that is more specific and has real time, it may be more useful for traders to arbitrage.
-
I use both and I also use coingeko when I want to easily find an exchange for the coin I’m looking for
-
I am only using coinmarketcap but base on the comments I have read I think I will also be using cryptocompare soon
-
CMC is good, bro, but cryptocompare is also good, the difference is the appearance, and if the cryptocompare updates every second, if there is a drop there is a red note on the price, and if the coin rises, the color turns green, but only for a moment.
-
I prefer coinmarketcap because I think it's easier and count the tokens / coins that we just calculated
-
I've been utilizing both this website, but for easier use I prefer CMC and spend more my time on CMC, very easy to filter
-
Both of these websites are good to see the cryptocurency price chart, but I think coinmarketcap remains the best.
I want to see coinmarketcap to see price increases and decreases when trading at Binance.
-
Both are good, but each has a different site appearance. If I have to choose the best one, then I choose Coinmarketcap.
