Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency before the end of the year?
No, for that to happen it would have to be adopted by all the banks and become the defector cryptocurrency for all the banks. That is not going to happen for a couple simple reasons. Banks are never going to adopt a system that they do not control. The reason banks use the SWIFT system for money transfer over any other competing system is that they own it and all the fees it generates goes to the banks. They also know that the system can not be hacked since the only authorized users with access are banks. Banks are working on projects to update SWIFT to a blockchain. That is where the future is for transnational money transfer by banks. Not in Ripple.

It is possible mate. But It will take several years. Ripple is very potential coin , Banks integrated ripple.

good analysis, banks will not be able to accept cryptocurrency, because they cannot control cryptocurrency, but I am sure they are not silent and only see the development of cryptocurrency,
I am sure, they are doing innovations for banks and crypto, how banks can enter cryptocurrency and attract all investors to their projects.
and if that happens, the cryptocurrency will experience a big wave of change.

Nope, I dont think this will happen, ripple is a decentralized coin which means the majority of the supply of this coin is held in the founder and can be manipulated.

With a large supply, I'm not sure that ripple will be the best coin. There are still many coins that have the potential to replace bitcoin such as litecoin, ethereum and bitcoin cash.

We never really know what is going to happen. Personally, I thought XRP was already dead before but it is here and it even surpassed ETH as no. 2 at one point

I don't think that it will happen in the short time because ripple needs to compete with the other coin, especially with the expensive coin. But ripple has a chance to be the number one cryptocurrency, but as I said, it will need time to see this. Ripple still on the way to increase the price and this is what we need to compete with the other coin, and then people will see what benefits from ripple that they can use for helping their life.

In my own opinion, I think that XRP may still remain in the top 3 at Coinmarketcap exchange listings. It may take a while for XRP to achieve such goal and basically the chance of becoming the 2nd rank coin is not far for XRP to meet such goal since it had already tried to overlap ethereum in the past month but it didn't take longer. For as long as many investors would be investing in XRP, definitely such goal would be attain in the 2nd rank position but not in the number one slot.

These constant talks and topics about Ripple is just hype and shilling in my opinion, as it does not have the capability of permanently unseating Ethereum on the no.2 spot, talk more of becoming number 1 on coinmarketcap. Ripple is highly centralized, totally against what cryptos industry stands for.

Guys, be realistic. It is like a miracle for ripple to see these days. How come a centralized runner win the game where all other players are decentralized?

Instead of having ripple bags, go find some gems, or invest in the projects which have very small market cap right now.

Ripple is a good coin and had hit more than 1 dollar last year. investing in ripple for the long term is also very good, but if we talking ripple as number one I think it still takes longer, because ethereum and bitcoin are not bad coins.

I think that BITCOIN will still remain "the king" but Ripple can really become n.2 crypto if banks will decide to adopt it as blockchain platform.

To take the lead is impossible at the condition of ripple. Before it will come up to number one, it must first defeat ethereum that I guess difficult to fulfil.

I don't know mean of the number one.
But if in Coinmarketcap is number one. I think it's very difficult especially for beating Bitcoin as pioneer of cryptocurrency.
But for beating other cryto like ETH I think is very poisible.

In our country's best crypto wallet, xrp is listed on it followed by bch, btc and eth this might be the signal that xrp may be on the top someday

I think It is difficult, Because Bitcoin and ethereum is the Kung and the queen of crypto currency. They still dominate and more popular.

I dont think so, there are many other cryptocurrencies that are superior to XRP in technology, development and goals, ripple is too high at the moment, but still ethereum should still be in 2nd place all the time because of huge demand and how always bitcoin will be 1st.

The answer is yes and no, because to get to the first cryptocurrency ripple have to adopt several steps that bitcoin achieved, then we will think that ripple will one day be at the top

I think It is possible. Ripple will be the number one crypto currency, But It will take several years again, Because Bitcoin and ethereum is more valuable and more popular.

I think its a bit hard for XRP to be the number one at the moment. You can look the Marketcap between XRP and Bitcoin. Bitcoin is 6-7 times higher than XRP and i think its a bit hard too for XRP to overcome ETH itself. Cause the demand and the usage of ETH is more than XRP cause XRP only focus in the banking sector.

Ripple is an attractive asset for investment. You can invest in it for a long time. Ripple will rise in price in any case and you can get a good return on this investment. But I don't think that's the number one cryptocurrency.

You should not be dogmatic judgemental to ripple. While it plays at number 3 in the market we should not close the chance to lead the market.

I think this will never happen. Because Bitcoin as it took 1 place and will take it. Ripple XRP may be the second, that is, ahead of ETH. But he will never be the first. This is my personal opinion.

I don't really think too that it will going to be a number. But honestly ripple is doing good these days and I regret not buying some of it when it has small price because I thought it will not really going to be good.
