Title: The price of bitcoin: wall street optimistic enthusiastic pessimistic
Post by: Paha87 on October 07, 2018, 04:35:35 PM
44% of respondents on Twitter believe that the price of bitcoin will decline, while more than half of wall street players and institutional investors seem to believe that BTC has already reached the bottom. Fundstrat poll, comparing the views of the 25 institutions associated with wall Street, against 9'500 regular users surveyed in Twitter account.

During the last week of September, Fundstrat conducted a survey between institutional investors, wall street investors and Twitter users, which can be viewed as a wider range of crypto enthusiasts. Although the study is not scientific in the strict sense and can therefore be interpreted in several ways, it provides some counter-intuitive data.

The most interesting conclusion — Fundstrat found that 54% of wall street respondents were sure that the most popular cryptocurrency in the world had reached its price bottom, and among crypto-enthusiasts 44% believe that BTC can continue to move down. By the end of 2019, institutions were more likely (57%) to forecast that BTC would surpass the $15'000 mark, compared to 40% of Twitter respondents.

Central banks and emerging markets are macroeconomic factors affecting the future of crypto
In the survey, 25 institutions answered ten questions, while Twitter users answered only six questions . More obvious findings include how both audiences surveyed agreed that macro factors affect the future of crypto: Central banks and emerging markets, which occupy respectively 1 and 2 on the importance of influencing the price of cryptocurrency. However, the institutions consider the policy as having a greater impact compared with crypto-enthusiasts.

The survey also sought opinion about the"favorite currency". Of the more than a dozen suggested options, nearly six out of ten institutions have chosen BTC as their favorite, however 46% of crypto-enthusiasts from Twitter have chosen XRP as their favorite currency. Curiously, although Ripple tokens have been chosen as the preferred coin, 31% of crypto-enthusiasts believe that "XRP contains the least sense of any crypto-code." No institution has chosen XRP as its favorite.

Other findings of interest include how the surveyed institutions were determined to increase in the price of BTC: 57% believe that by the end of next year it will be in the range of 15'000 dollars to "here".
