I'm developing an altcoin that is based on social sharing. What foundational technologies are going to make it the most valuable? What makes an altcoin valuable? I'm wondering if it is just how much people hear about it? Thoughts?

Hello. There are many altcoins flooding the market now and I have seen some projects that are based on social sharing. If you want to standout, I think it's better if you offer something unique
-
I think it's more valuable to technology and platforms used by altcoins that are based on the use of blockchain technology. If we try to think in the past and blockchain technology is not found, maybe the ease of digital transactions and investments will not exist at this time.
-
I suppose it's the usability of the token (altcoin). Let's take Ethereum for example. A lot of projects are ERC20 based and there are a lot of Ethereum transactions every day, so it is very useful.
-
We know a lot of social projects. They don’t bring altcoins but everyone is used to them. You need to make a radically new proposal that will interest everyone. You should think about it well before releasing altcoin. I would not want your altcoin to be lost among hundreds of others.

What makes Altcoin valuable is actually the technology and platforms used by altcoins that are based on the use of blockchain technology which is currently popular in this digital world. On the other hand there are also lots of tokens on the Bounty Project that provide good and potential Tokens or coins.

~snip~ What makes an altcoin valuable?
Do you have an MVP? A quality product of a project will make its coins more valuable. Moreover, if the coins are crucial to support the development of a project. Make sure that coins or tokens are created because of a strong reason. They are really needed, not just useless things. In this way, an altcoin will be valuable.
-
Altcoins unfortunately will not be used for a long time on the idea of their creators. There will be many more stages before that happens. At the beginning, the coin should become a unit of calculation and a means of saving and only then will the tokens be needed to solve other problems.
-
Under the current trend for altcoin to be valuable i think the first and most important is the availability of platform for users to test out either isit for increasing the confidence level of the potential investors or to prove that the ICO is less likely to be a scam and really want to do something. As normally what we always see is just whitepaper, roadmap and words by ICO but are they able to implement the whole thing, we can't be sure of it also. Then to further increase the reputation of the ICO i think it should be the team members that they are working with to show the competency that they are able to accomplish the platform if they have enough fund from investors.

It is valuable when it helps the community to it's development and make a very impressive progress in the long run. Like Bitcoin it is widely used as digital payment cash and many people used it in convenient way.
-
Actual usage of the coin in question is what makes it really valuable, there needs to be demand for it not only by investors but by actual users.
People in this community gives value to a token or coins. If you want your altcoin to be successful and have value, you will need to advertise it well and make sure that your campaign has what it takes for people to also believe that your altcoin will really be profitable.
-
which makes altcoins valuable, of course from the developer concept, for example the token is made for online product payments with cheaper transaction costs, surely the coin will be valuable in the eyes of the public
-
The capitalization level depends on the total number of coins and the price per one token. Calculate the market value of the cryptocurrency, which exists on the market for more than a year and is in demand, is very difficult. According to experts, the amount that is displayed on the exchange and third-party sites is very far from reality. The situation is complicated by the specificity of the critetics, the number of which is constantly increasing.
-
I thing how valuable an altcoin becomes depends on the coin, the community and the benefits which it has and how stable it can be. If a coin is well dominated and people accept it that is it is of high demand because of the potentials it has, then it is a valuable coin. It also depends on how well managed the coin is and the development.

In order to make altcoin valuable, its must be popular to all and promising project that is very useful to us. Also a good management and marketing in a project can lead to a valuable token.
