I am quite certain that each of us had ups and downs since we started getting involved in crypto (probably more downs than ups). Many went crazy due to bad trades and bad ICO investments then eventually quit.
So back to the question, Is Crypto Stressful? - IT IS.
In order to survive, you got to learn how to overcome your emotions and have a proper mindset.
My question to all survivors:
1. How were you able to overcome the stress brought by crypto?
2. What tips can you give to all newbies?

when people dont have time management like me :D its very hard bahahaha
-
I don't want to be stressful because of crypto, just do what I can do and forget the bad one. You should not spend your funds to invest in crypto and don't use all your time for crypto business. A job in real life is needed, so you are not only dependent on the jobs on crypto.
-
stressed on crypto, I am sure this is because someone has high expectations in doing something, but that expectation is not achieved because it is unexpected.
so what should be done.
one, we must consider bounty hunters or other activities on cryptocurrency is not a job,
second, have friends and groups in which there are senior crypto worlds, so when you want to do something, try to consult first.
-
I think I am agree with you. I am in since June or July by joining that one forum. After two months, I join a signature bounties. The first project was canceled after weeks than the second one I got demoted so I can not finished the campaign. Then I start to invest a bit since last week and now my asset already decrease about 10% but I still believe that coin tho, so I will hold it. It's stressful if I see the market chart, so I try not to. LOL

The 15-year-old from from Statesboro, Georgia, put around $500 — or 10 weeks of his pay as a cashier at a local Japanese restaurant, into the currency via his mother's account.
Ever since, he checks the value of bitcoin compulsively. He sneaks glances at his phone in class. At night he stays up, his eyes glued to the currency's wild swings.
"I don't like how often it's on my mind," McGrath said. "It's unhealthy."
Owning a currency that some people say is a fraud and others say is the future can be an emotionally intense experience.
-
If you plan for something that is unreasonable, I think it can make you stressful. You should plan realistic goals in crypto business. Do not overdo in your expectations, adjust to your abilities. Every one must know about their limits. And don't forget to pray to the God for the success.
-
Crypto can be stressful due to its unpredictable nature and high expectation of a rise.
Crypto is an investment which requires patience.
-
I don't think crypto is stressful it is rather than addiction to me, deprive of sleep, becoming frugal because I have to buy my newfound alts. Crypto look like stress but actually it is exciting.

Firstly crypto is not stressful is you make it stressful which might be due to your greed or whatever emotions. For example you can choose not to be involve in an ICO if you are not sure of the result or any aspect of the ICO, if you enter without really understanding it that means you should take the result of rising price or falling price. You might be over stretching your fiat so that you are very concern about the profit and loss as a whole.
For me as i am still quite new to this crypto so i does not invest in any ICO but choosing the right ICO to go in and be a bounty hunter.

Don't think about the crypto too much no matter we are in the down situations and try to search something to prevent your mind to think about crypto. We can solve the stress problem because of crypto, and you only need to accept every situations and condition that might happen in the crypto. We cannot always make a profit, and we know this. We need to receive this, and we need to keep trying and don't stop in the middle of your journey because I am sure that in the end, you will make a big smile and even a big laugh because you can get big money and you can recover your loss.

When last year I did also trading in crypto it was so stressful so that I stopped trading. Now I just invest with long term view and don't care too much about low and high in short term.. and I really feel better! 8)
-
I found the image too funny LOL
Yes, crypto can become stressful especially when you are emotionally attached in your trades and investments. The market volatility can really take to a wild ride
-
Some says 10 years of Stock Exchange experience can be done in only 1 year in crypto.
You do the math.
-
Think about it that way if there is risk there is no gain and once you accept it you get relief yourself from any stress, sometimes stress beats you but you have to counter and it and never give up, if you found yourself too stressed just take a break and go do something else for a couple of days or weeks trust me you will get back with clear mind and fresh nontoxic thinking.
-
Of course, the cryptocurrency due to its high volatility and poor predictability in growth, takes a lot of nerves from us. Therefore, it is better for traders don't risk too much into trade, this is not worth it. Bounty hunters should be more comfortable with non-payment of tokens. In a life without loss vraravno not do.
-
haha I love this image. I think we shouldn't check our portfolio day by day. In bull market it is fine (because it is growing everyday:D) but now, don't look at it guys.
I'm checking just new bounties, and don't bother with btc, eth, neo etc. prices at all. They will rise. I know. (I believe, let's say)
-
Crypto is stressing from the start. Being a newbie and joining a bounty can be very painful when you got to share, post and submit links as well. But as time goes on, it becomes less when you tend to gain experience. With trading too, our emotions with the trade makes it stressing especially when you have to deal with bad moments like we having now. The image says it all tho ;IQ
-
I used to get very stressed out with any large movement in the markets. But at this point I've cashed out more than I've bought in for, so it's not "risky" for me anymore. I've seen so many ups and downs that it doesn't really affect me much anymore.

This is similar to what happened to me and the steps I am doing to not get stressed out. I still do day trading from time to time.
-

I agree that having high expectation and not meet them can be stressful. Having a crypto mentor/s can definitely help
-
Good questions my friend. the answer to the first question: I treat the crypto industry as a HOBBY, I do not have high hopes, but I sincerely believe in the success of this entire industry. I believe that this is the future and this will not go away! I advise beginners not to have high hopes and act like me. In this case, you will have healthy nerves and sound sleep. Suggest to develop in this subject, lots to read and learn the basics and you'll be fine. ;)
-
I does not think crypto is stressful at all. Firstly you adhere to the rules of the game and you just enjoy the entertainment. Unless you break the rules of the game in return the game become stressful to you. Everyone knows that investing is not gambling you only invest in what you afford to lose and not borrow money and invest but how many people can control especially when they see profits. As long as you are not putting too much focus on win lose this is just a simple 'money' game and in game either you win or you lose.
-
Yeah mate. It is. It is due to votality issues you know. Will it fall or will it rise? Everyday I ask this question myself. It is stressful wehn you invest more that you can afford.
-
@ cryptoz, I'm also not too stressed out with crypto. Crypto is a side job when I have free time. To minimize stress when the bear market happens, I don't check the coin market too often. Because that will make me shock.
-
Yup. Very stressful.
From pump and dumps to not having regulation over the authorities or governments, crypto is being ruled by whales. So at a basic expression, small investors are trying to guess the whale moves.
Fun, and Sadness in a bowl together.

Right. There's a lot of things going on in crypto. You could win a lot in some trades then easily lose them on the next
-
I used to get very confused out with any huge motion in the markets. but at this factor i have cashed out more than i've offered in for, so it is not "unstable" for me anymore. i've visible so many americaand downs that it would not absolutely have an effect on me lots anymore.
-
Crypto can be stressful especially when combined with a dwindling market condition where losses have been experienced. For me, crypto is fun, especially as I'm getting to do something entirely different from what my day job entails. Getting to read setting up wallets, reading whitepapers, joining telegram groups, airdrops, bounties, etc. All these are fun for me
-
At first, each person will be nervous when he starts his cryptocurrency path, well, then after some time it will be easier for everyone to understand how everything works and overcome your emotions, so that everything comes with experience.
-
I was very excited when I started to market and I was constantly following the market.but as I gained experience, I learned to cope with stress.I'm less stressed now.
-
well the truth is that after you have lost your money the stress immediately reduces and takes another form, also after you win money the stress takes the form of greed that makes you lose money and become angry again, at least this is my cycle.
-
I think so because you always have tension in your head. 24*7 no break. Some of my hears are already white. I am just 22. Profit or loss but tension is always. But there are happiness to when i see the wallet getting bigger and bigger.
-
Don't make crypto jobs to be your main income, just make it as your side jobs. And remember, never use all your funds to invest in cryptocurrency, 50% of your funds are the maximum number to use for investment. In this way, when cryptocurrency doesn't bring good profits to you, you still have other savings. And you should have a regular job in real life. I think it can avoid a stressful and make your finances safer.
-
I am not trying to worsen what you are currently feeling about the market right now, but looking at the image makes me laugh. After this long bear market is over, maybe we can just laugh the stress it has given us ;D

Yes crypto is too much stressful specially when you are doing day trading you are mentally tortured literaly thats why traders needs to break sometime to unload stress in mind and body.
-
Crypto does not stress one physically but it stress the mind, especially when you have to think of the market and all that.
-
Yes crypto is stressful to an extent, but any way we enjoying it
-
I think i have an alarm if it reaches certain milestones but that's about it just in case there's a bull run j don't want to completely miss noticing it.The thing is to control your nerves, every time I invested in a project I used to go crazy by checking my portfolio.
-
I advise to make cryptocurrency not as the main source to get monthly income. Just make it to be a side job only, so you have no problem if you get no earning within a certain period. This absolutely lessen the stressful in crypto.
-
-
Nothing go for easy as far as it is a money making system so to make money in crypto is more like normal day activities which need to work on and require stress too.
-
It is stressful sometimes especially if you invested in a coins and suddenly the Price went down, that's why we have to be careful in investing our money in crypto.
-
Any field of activity in which it is necessary to work and risk something gives us stress and this is quite natural. There are people who commit suicide because of problems at work. It is impossible to get rid of stress, but its effect can be reduced. To do this, diversify the risks of investing in different directions, so that in case of an unsuccessful investment, do not lose all your money.
-
I think this time yes, crypto is stressful cause i wait for about 5 months to make the price higher but now it's getting lower and lower and almost half of my holds is gone, now i started to wait again for another months. ;)
-
My question to all survivors:

the way to deal with stress is not to be too hopeful for now because we know that red markets and many projects do not go according to plan. for tips there really isn't because we are only bounty hunters who if the project is running we get income otherwise we are just in vain and keep repeating like that
-
seems to have to reduce the time for crypto to avoid stress by doing other work for a while
-

Cryptocurrency trading in general is really stressfull, i can feel your pain and your stress because i've lived your situation, the best part in crypto is that you must struggle and hodl, wait and never get tired to get good profit, remember that theres a legends that bought BTC back in 2010 and they have the same amount right now, these are the best example! Crypto is patience!
-

I think this is a very hard area of earnings. If you are not a professional trader and investor you will have every chance to lose your capital. By the fact that crypto resembles a roulette, that is, without correct calculations and analysis, you can lose big.
-
before we join in the world of cryptocurrency we must learn the benefits and also risks that will be obtained in it first. that way, we can adapt well and can use it well to make a profit. crypto will give a big profit if we can take the advantage of the opportunities to make a profit.
-
There is a saying that goes like this "Don't put all your eggs in one basket". So Its not advisable to make cryptocurrency your major source of income. The Market is unpredictable and if it's your major source of income you tend to always stress yourself checking the Market 24/7 and can panic sell your assets
-
This fall in the market has painfully affected many people involved in cryptocurrency, but it also helped to gain experience and new knowledge. In order to cope with stress you need to learn to divert your attention from work and relax.
-
The cryptocurrency world is indeed really stressful because of its volatility and of our high expectations and worries. But we can avoid being too stressed about crypto if we just don't push ourselves too much. We know that now is not a good time for our coins but let us all look at the bright side of it. I personally hold my coins, and if given a chance, it is a good time to buy because the prices are low, just choose those who have really potential in the crypto market. Be patient and don't be too emotional. Forget about the stress the crypto brings and enjoy life.
-
crypto has very large fluctuations and this can happen very quickly and it must be understood by everyone. but in all price reductions it must be followed by a significant increase in how it works because crypto is a technology product that is needed by everyone and will continue to grow according to future needs
-
Yes sometimes crypto likes to stress us out, but we can take advantage of all this, sometimes we are tense in trading whether to go up or down, it will stress us when playing in the crypto world.
-
Yes. Of a truth crypto is more tasking mentally than you could think .
There are days ,you will think you are gonna go crazy trying to figure out what next step to take .
I have learned not to involve my emotions on crypto and it's working for me.
-
Crypto is never been stressful for me till date because crypto gives me a financial sound life even I am very thankful to my friend who told me about crypto currencies. I would say in crypto world your mindset, patience and money management play a major role in order to get success if anything missing you will be stressful someday for sure. Do not consider crypto market to be rich overnight. I would say if you have a good trading skill set you can earn good money from here even sometime we stuck in trades but we can overcome that also by having patience. If we don't have patience certainly this market is not for us. This is not a gambling it requires analysis of market also.

Newbies should understand the risks in investing. It might go t 0 overnight. But if you have strong believe in crypto, Just dont mind the dips instead just buy it to accumulate more positions.
-
Yeah I feel that. crypto stressed me this year. I just tried to survive and buy coins that dropped to pass daily trading. that makes me comfortable.
-
According to the showed picture above taking coffee will help to overcome stressful days of crypto. Having a relaxation time will help to deal crypto much better.
-
Hahaha yes, crypto is stressful because of its volatility. Especially when trading and you encounter too much losses, that is stressful.
Most people that go into crypto is because of the volatility in crypto i do agree that it can be stressful at time when you see your portfolio going down and down, if the down is becoming a stress to you, you might have a big expenses that you need to pay every month and you are using crypto as a full time job maybe you should put crypto as a side income now.
-
crypto gives different adrenaline when we start playing because the level of fluctuations is very high which allows someone to have a big advantage quickly and also a quick loss too. Everyone's stress level increases with the emotional and amount of assets they play in crypto
-
I have experienced stress when my assets were down. I relieve stress by playing games and reading crypto news. lots of other things that can be done.

I've known from the start crypto is going to be a long-term investment for me. 8) So, I hodl some MGO, CAT, MTK and other tokens. So, I'm just hodling and waiting. No stress.
-
I think crypto can be stressful, but patience is important because of investing in it.
-
I think it is stressful if their are high expectations and you are totally dependent on crypto. But if you are only involved in bounty campaign there is no stress but as well as if you trade then their will be a little bit of stress.
-
I love the pix, especially the part about being 25 from one who is obviously a granddad! Back to the idea of crypto being stressful, well my advise on this is to remove emotions from your crypto dealings. Those pesky emotions can make or break a deal.
