Bitcoin is definitely a good coin to invest in due to its large market cap. Some altcoins are equally good to invest in because they have also good investor support. Coins like ETH, Ripple, EOS are good to invest in. The best move to pick now is to diversify your portfolio and invest in both Bitcoin and altcoins to increase your chances of earning more profit.

I choose bitcoin for a long-term, and I choose altcoin for the short-term. But it depends on how much bitcoin we have, and if we don't have much bitcoin, then I think you can choose altcoin for invest. You can select the cheap coin, and you can find there are many cheap coins to buy and that coin has the potential to increase higher. You can buy ripple, stellar, xem, eos, and I am sure that there is many more you can buy.

For me, altcoin always. Ofcourse not shit ones. There is a strict and thin line between them. So choose wisely.

If you tell which of this two good for long-term I would choose Bitcoin because it is the most famous and king of all Coins,even though Bitcoin experience market crisis but I have big confidence that it will return to its previous price someday.
