I just want to share this personal opinion. I don't think that the cryptocurrency will hit ATH this 2018. I might get lots of negative comments from this but at the very least let me share why I think this. We've come from an ATH last 2017 and this 2018, I believe we've reached a rockbottom market. Which means that we're still on our way to recovery. I do believe though that the market will thrive in 2019 (though it's way too early to say at this point in time because so many things are happening to altcoins)

Cryptocurrency is the second name of unpredictable assets! You never know what will come up front because just now the crypto is hitting above the price of 7K+ and thus showing some good sings. Now there was time when bitcoin stayed below 6K USD throughout the year and periodically tried to come up with good rates. Now is the time when most of the people might just be thinking about entering the market as they pass on the summer holidays and try their luck with the crypto currencies. If they do then surely this market is going to spike like heaven and you will soon experience the 10K ++ rates too.

2017 was the result of hype and ignorance of newbies. I believe the market is a bit educated now and more mature so I don't think bitcoin will be breaking that $20K mark this year.

We have the same thoughts about what is the market this 2018 and with some differences because what I believe is the market will still bleed in 2019 because were needing two years to recover from that bubble of 2017 so get ready for dropping and stop expecting growth for not to fails.

I don`t think that price will make new ATH this year too, but next year, or the one after next year can be a jackpot
for all those people who hold some crypto-currencies.
Cryptocurrency portfolio isn`t my idea, I saw that from older members here. When I think that trough I found how good it is to have that portfolio with different coins. It`s what I`m working on, and that future ATH is what I`m waiting
for.

I also agree with you, because I also heard and read the news a few weeks ago, there is an analysis that Crypto will not be a bull market by the end of 2018, but if a bull market occurs, then the price is not as big as last year, maybe the price of BTC 15000 USD is the maximum peak price.
even so, I always expect the market to be a bull market again,

I think there might be a few beginner traders who invest in a large amount of time seeing the market in 2018 they are still old ..

The market of 2018 is not very good but always time market is cheap... I invest a lots of altcoins and bitcoins but maximum time I face losses.
