There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
The reason why the percentage of market Bitcoins dominates isn't exactly because they got less investors now , it's just because with so many currencies around the globe it's getting saturated and distributed .
Only some of them would be successful like 10-20 but with this tough competition it's risking people's investments and both these small small exchanges.
I strongly believe that a regulatory body should tackle this and then make a decision.
I think is negative in it's own way.

The number of new crypto shows that the crypto world is expanding. Crypto is increasingly known and its community is growing. This is good news because it makes the crypto value even higher in the future.

the number of new coins that appeared due to the many new ico that appeared as well. the good ico will produce good coins and have a high price on the market.

Yes i really agree with you. Hope the regulators can quickly make a regulation to control the population of ICO right now. cause a lot of ICO right now only selling vision & mission without delivering their product and some of them is scamming people too. Because of that, our crypto world become bleeding day by day. Hope they really can make the regulation in this nearby time

Yeah but the regulatory board coming from the government wouldn't not be a good choice. WHY? there are probably some entity or members of them that will create a way to diminish and favor some crypto over the others. Self interest cannot be avoided and somehow it better to stay right the system until a good solution arrives. I know there are lot of new crypto in the market and some created to be a cash machine for newbies who are clueless about crypto. But people's mind evolving and becoming wiser to see which one is fraud over a real product. For now, we just need to wait, and watch from the bckground scene.

It is good to have so many crypto currencies I believe. They are all focusing to solve a problem which was being bad-ass to the people, but I can be on the same page with you since too many shitcoins all around which never tries t osolve anything but scam.

With so many cryptos, we can have a bigger opportunity to make a profit especially if we have a good coin. And yes, I see there is too many cryptocurrency and only some of them are bigger than the other. I think with the regulations from the government, they can control cryptocurrency so people will be safe to trade in that cryptocurrency. The governments need to give safety to the people so they don't have to worry about the bad thing that might happen.

Too many people are wasting more of their labor. Many of them are projects that are really meaningless.

It may be that various people trying to create altcoins without any goal or purpose to fill with it. This actually leads to a loss of trust among us. So many altcoins just marketing themselves to sell in the market lead to the rise of STOs.

I do not think that the number of varieties of cryptocurrency should be limited, especially to attract the regulatory authority to this issue. Cryptocurrency should be developed freely and settled naturally. Do not be afraid that cryptocurrency will become too much. After some time, all useless coins and tokens will drop the market and only promising and popular projects will remain. In addition, most of the cryptocurrency become tokens, whose activities are very narrow and they, as a rule, do not overlap in their own interests. The reality is very multifaceted and there is a place for multiple cryptocurrencies.

A lots of them scam or already dead project. So you need to research a little bit and define coins which you should invest :D

Many coins die and some of the ico project scams get huge profits from investors, every day new coins appear and we don't understand how long they will survive, I suggest to be more careful when you invest.

Yes. There are so many cryptocurrencies in the market now which make me happy. The world of cryptocurrency is growing faster and bigger each and every day. People are also joining the crypto business but care must be taken also because there are scams all over. We should be mindful of that.

I think you are right. There are a whole lot of cryptos and exchanges and this is likely to increase with time and we surely need some kind of regulatory mechanism but this isnt gonna come come easy because of different laws in different part of the world

Judging by this dead market, the ICO`s still getting big demand as many companies show, so as long as it works, companies will use it.

Yes I see too many crypto currencies now. But I think It is good thing. You have many chance to invest. It is my opinion.

indeed cryptocurrency is increasingly famous, but not only famous for its advantages. lots of bad news also roam around crypto, and there are lots of crypto coin-coins that are deliberately made to deceive someone.

Because cryptocurrency becoming more popular and more and more coins so possible scammers will be link to some. Therefore be more careful choosing ICO to prevent the scams.

with the many new crypto that emerging, we must be smart to choose crypto which has good prospects. the good coins usually emerge from good projects too. therefore, we must be able to choose them well to get the satisfactory results.

After the rise in the price of cryptocurrency last year made the more popular in 2018 inim more and the new token and other tokens are likely to mushrooms in the rainy season. But it makes us have many options in investing in cryptocurrency by choosing coins or tokens with low prices and have a good potential in the future. I wonder what the government want to do for now because the crypto market is giving an impact to every people and now, cryptocurrency become bigger than before. With the explosive of the price in the last year, it will make people open their eyes because something new is coming and if they don't take part inside the crypto, then they will not make any profit like us. I think the government will create some regulations for the crypto market and perhaps, they want to control the exchanges and they want to know who is the people behind the exchanges and their member so they can do something if their activities become illegal.

Many cash die and a number of the ico mission scams get massive profits from buyers, each day new cash appear and we don't understand how lengthy they may continue to exist, I advocate to be extra careful whilst you invest.

So many cryptocurrencies in introducing in coinmarketcap and ICO bazaar day by day. For a result cryptocurrency Kingdom strong than before for new introducing coins.

Mostly this 2 thousand cryptocurrencies is ERC20 tokens with very specific purpose, many of them use just for speculation. I recommend you buy coins with real technology behind it, other way you just lose your money.

I see more than 2000 cryptocurrencies listed on CMC, if you check out other sites and other exchanges this can go up to 3000 or maybe 4000. I think more than half of these coins are dead projects or about to die projects, I dont think that the amount of cryptocurrencies is a positive sign for the crypto future. I find it irrelevant, the important part is the quality of the projects

I think no regulator will stop the coins from popping every where... this is the free market and no one can stop you to make your own company...
This is exactly what the bear market is for...squeezing out the weak and eliminate a lot of crypto-trash... all the scams, crazy projects and ill prepared teams fall on this season...
surely a lot of those coins are vanishing at this moment...and this is good for the crypto scene as it will leave mostly the solid projects 8)

Yes it is true, for now there are so many Cryptocurrency that have been made, in the list of coinmarketcap has also recorded more than 2000 Cryptocurrency. So it is possible that a new Coin will continue to appear at any time. But even though there is a lot of crypto currently available, it's our choice as Cryptocurrency players to choose the best Crypto.

asking regulation must be suggesting to make the crypto currency centralized. This will not possible for now because many investors want this system remain as decentralised, and the only thing we can do for now is to be very careful to put our money on them.

Crypto currency has a good future and will be a profitable investment so there will be more crypto now, but not all crypto will be able to survive because the competition will be tighter and the best that will still be able to survive and grow

with the many new crypto that appears, we must be able to choose the crypto that is good to invest. the good coins will make a big profit. but if we cannot choose a good coin, then the coin will not have a price on the market.

Innovation in the Crypto World will appear every day and this will result in the appearance of the new Krypto in exchanges, if the project is rated the public either then crypto will be able to survive and also the opposite will only be a memories, for that selectively choose your investment.

Crypto market is still little compared to traditional finance and it's expanding fast so increasing number of new coins is normal. I think that in just 2-3 years only 10% of them will survive like what happened to DOTCOM market in 2000....
