Title: FUD? what is the reason they do that?
Post by: owmivmen on October 11, 2018, 03:38:58 PM
I joined Telegram on an ICO project. There are some interesting things, someone from the member makes an FUD that is impressed will make investors not sure to invest in the project. something confused me, why did the person (making FUD) join the ICO project? What are the reasons for doing something like that?

There are some factors to consider. Maybe there's another rival ICO that's sends someone to discredit the other ICO. Or maybe that person knows something else that investors are not aware of

there are two types, they may know the project is bad or they are jealous of the project because it is very good and popular

I agree with you. But I have other reason, I will conclude it below:

1. Rival / competitor. Too many projects with the same ideas or concepts. They may do a bad strategy to make their rival to have a bad image.
2. Something wrong with the project. This factor is also possible because too many scam ICOs right now. If someone knows about the truth a scam project, they will let others know and avoid to invest in the projects.
3. Personal issues. Personal issues may be another factors to cause the FUD since many business in crypto world. Someone is possible to have a problem with others or a company / project.

Nice answer from alltalk. There are many motivation that might be possible to be consideration.
The fuders usually do the action with and/or without any valid motivation/reason.
As Alltalk has been said, "rival, project problem, personal issue" can be included to valid reason.
Also there is unvalid reason, such as : " the Fuder is a child, the fuder is someone who likes to make riots and there are no other motives, etc"
