Title: Cryptocurrency or Fiat.What wins?
Post by: Mavalet on October 12, 2018, 01:05:18 AM
Now there are a lot of assumptions about whether the cryptocurrency can completely replace Fiat money? Personally, I believe that in the near future, it is possible that the cryptocurrency will be an addition to Fiat, but never completely replace it.What do you think about this?

Crypto currency will not completely replace fiat money. One reason is because crypto cannot be controlled by the government. Other than that, crypto prices have never been stable, they are easy to change. And crypto cannot be the identity of one country's currency.

In my opinion, crypto cannot replace fiat money because crypto cannot be controlled by the government and not a legal payment system. But going forward, crypto can be a reserve currency that is side by side with fiat.

I think that Fiat has already outlived itself and the world economies, taking into account their huge foreign debts, we must find a way to transform them and write them off. This way you can become a cryptocurrency.

At this time fiat is more influential than crypto. Some people doesn't like to spend their time on the things they aren't sure if they will be victorious so they choose fiat over crypto. Well, once the government will accepted the system of crypto probably slowly by slowly fiat will fade someday.

Fiat has been in the system for a long time and I think it will be difficult for cryptocurrency to replace it. There are a lot of counties which have not accepted cryptocurrency yet and it will be difficult for it to be accepted.

Crypto can be very useful in many sectors and payments to have a trust and verified payment without using traditional banking system.
I think that FIAT will not disappear but crypto can replace for example credit cards system.

I won't compare between cryptocurrency and fiat because right now, I think both cryptocurrency and fiat have different purpose and advantage. Cryptocurrency can help us to gain many benefits which we don't know yet, but the fiat, we use it for our daily life, and we have different fiat for every country.

Crypto would lose its value if fiats will be gone. Remember that the price of the cryptocurrencies is within the reach of fiat money such as dollars for bitcoin and others.Though it may be possible, still the security of cryptocurrency is unstable unlike fiat that can be kept within you, and crypto is only a virtual money and needs to be exchange for fiat. You can't even tell how it looks like or how much have you touched it.

Crypto can beat fiat's ass if it would used as what it had been developed for.

Creating money via code is amazing. You don't have to pay any government, banks vice versa.

Plus, solving some hard problems with these coins is changing the way the world rolls.

Already no one doubts that cryptocurrency has taken some place that Fiat used to occupy, but only in the long run will the effect of cryptocurrency on the financial system be more pronounced. In fact, even before cryptocurrencies, plastic cards and Internet banking have replaced Fiat, we will not notice much change, just bank accounts and Apps in our phones will change to cryptocurrency.

Crypto remains a digital coin, simply that Fiat money is real money, while Crypto is Digital money. So I think Crypto will not be able to replace Fiat's money position. because we live more in the real world not cyberspace. but they can support each other. because we live in the real world and cyberspace  :D

I don't want to compare between Cryptocurrency and Fiat. I don't understand why people compare it. I think it is no need to compare them since we can use both of them. Although crypto has been a part of our life, it doesn't mean we don't need Fiat. Fiat cannot be replaced, it will be there forever.

I don't think that each should win and one should lose. The use of fiat and cryptocurrency in this time can be supporting each others. Fiat is however used for our daily payment method and we will need it so much. But cryptocurrencies, are the technology, to be used for future, it is very promising to earn money from trading or investment.

In my opinion we can see that in next 50 years. Because already too many people stop using that paper money. People already using credit cards always. So with some future technological developments or telephone applications using crypto currencies like that will be really easy. Also i want to talk about govermental money and crypto currencies. I believe crypto currencies replace fiat money. because already we can see there are too many countries try to create their own coins etc.  surely that will be in next 50 years i think. that is completely revolution.

Fiat currency is legal tender backed by a central government and cryptocurrency is not. But fiat only stable price. if you want to get more profit of course you will invest in cryptocurrency not in fiat. People usually convert crypto asset to Fiat when they feel the market is in down turn and convert it back when they feel its time for crypto to growth. about the cryptocurrency can replace the Fiat money i think it wont be for a moment but at the future who knows.

Both of them has their own advantage. Fiat is stable currency and its backed up by the government and Cryptocurrency is an investment so when you invest in them you can get the profit or you will lose. So thats why better choose the good cryptocurrency to invest and i think in the future cryptocurrency will be the one of the good investment to invest. You just need to research them first and then decided to invest at what coin.

Fiat has successfully existed for many years in parallel with Mastercard/Visa plastic cards and the same situation will be with cryptocurrencies, Fiat will exist in parallel with cryptocurrencies. There are different niches for which their own currency is better suited. The wallet is tied to the phone, and the phone needs internet and if it is not possible to withhold payment using cryptocurrency, then you can always use Fiat currency. Nowadays, plastic cards are not accepted everywhere, for example, in rural areas or in third world countries.

Of course, the cryptocurrency can only go in parallel with the national money. Besides the fact that people will still use paper money as one of the most reliable, simple and fast ways of financial relationships, the state will never refuse to use their national money in favor of cryptocurrency. The reason is, first of all, that the cryptocurrency can not be tied to the economy of a particular state, and without this, the economy will be dead, it will be very difficult to manage. And in general, why does the state need such risks with cryptocurrency volatility?

Because crypto for the community is relatively new and is still in the stage of adjusting to Crypto, so there are still many people who proclaim their fiat money rather than crypto. Because there are still many people who use Fiat more and make it more productive than using Crypto. of course there are reasons such as fear of crying in crypts and so on. In my opinion it could happen, but for now it seems difficult to realize that, even though the crypto currency offers many conveniences and benefits, but the crypto currency also moves independently, separate from the country's central bank. The virtual currency system works completely closed through the blockchain channel, where crypto users are completely closed. Most countries are also totally tax free and their value cannot be determined by the government. In my own view, it would be very dangerous if the crypto currency replaced the original currency, with prices that could not be determined or were very volatile, would seriously threaten the economy of a country. Cryptocurrency assets are only suitable as investment fields. And if all countries have their own crypto currency, the country should be able to regulate the price, and that is impossible.

I think fiat money cannot be replaced by crypto because people in the country don't fully understand and know about crypto. Cryptocurrency is a payment through a blockchain system that requires an internet network. Meanwhile, peripheral communities do not fully understand the internet and technology. So Fiat is still needed. But crypto is also important to be adopted in a country because it can stabilize the country's economy.

A technical and organizational cryptocurrency can never replace fiat with itself. Cryptocurrency was created only as an alternative payment system to the currently existing payment system. First of all, it can not have any interaction with the economy of any state, and this circumstance means that the cryptocurrency will quickly unbalance the economy of any strong state.

Cryptocurrency can never replace the national money of states. It is not technically designed for this. Most importantly, the cryptocurrency can not interact with the economy of the state in any way, as ordinary money does. And without this, any economy of any state will quickly become unbalanced and chaos will begin. If a cryptocurrency as a state’s money will exist on its own, and the economy will exist on its own, there’s no sense in that.

cryptocurrency cannot interact with the country's economy in any way, like ordinary money. And without this, the economy of any country quickly becomes unbalanced and chaos will begin. If cryptocurrency as state money will exist by itself, and the economy will exist by itself, there is no point. Cryptocurrency can never replace national state money.

It will be real in the future. I am completely sure in 30 40 years nobody will not use fiat anymore. People will use only cryptocurrencies. Maybe these currencies will not eth or btc but  i  am completely sure nations will create their national crypto currencies and people start to use these currencies in their general life . So i think crypto currencies will win that race.

Obviously, crypto wins as we can see from history that people always move in the direction of new things.Crypto is struggling right now because the idea is new but trust me as time goes by,many people will jump on and the story will change. From then on we shall all see a new order.

For now, crypto and fiat money are still superior to fiat money. In this world, those who use Bitcoin are only 5%, the rest use fiat money. That's all Bitcoin has lost to fiat money. And it won't be easy for Bitcoin to beat Fiat, it will take a very long time to beat him.

Basically Crypto aims to replace fiat as the world's public currency. But in my opinion the mission was less successful. Because only a small number of people use Crypto and only a few countries legalize it. Because Crypto will threaten the world economy, crypto will not be able to win as long as the government and the banks and the main people still use fiat as a daily transaction tool.

Now there are a lot of assumptions about whether the cryptocurrency can completely replace Fiat money? Personally, I believe that in the near future, it is possible that the cryptocurrency will be an addition to Fiat, but never completely replace it.What do you think about this?
It's right.  After all, in the next decade, technologically, all are not ready to simply take and abandon fiat money and fully switch to cryptocurrency!

I can't totally cross off the thought or possibility of cryptocurrency completely taking over fiat currencies. With a little recognition and participation, cryptocurrencies can go beyond what we think right now. Although, if I were to place a bet, I'll say that both types of currencies will work hand in hand.

Currently Fiat is winning on Cryptocurrency. Fiat has been a favorite of many people and has become a lot of users, almost all of which I think are still using fiat. Crypto is currently only used by a few of the entire world community, therefore Crypto is currently not strong enough to be able to replace Fiat and defeat it. I think it will take a long time.

Basically the purpose of creating digital money like Cryptocurrency is to replace real money or fiat money. At present fiat money is still very strong and is still a priority of the world community. Therefore, currently the winner is still fiat money, and crypto is still unable to beat real money. But I'm sure Crypto will be able to defeat it later.

There is a time for everything including replacing fiat by crypto. There are a lot of process before it will became official. Crypto won't erase fiat easily because people wants fiat more than crypto due to massive scam issue written in cryptocurrencies.

Some  exchange  of  cryptpcurrencies  accept  fiat,  such  as  dollars ,  euros  etc.  For  crypto   exchange  to  accept  fiat  currency  has  made  every thing  easier  for  the  newcomers  to the world  of  digital  coins.

I prefer fiat, because fiat has its form,
whereas crypto has no form, only numbers, but unfortunately fiat can be controlled by a number of individuals, and this is what cryptocurrency has,

To replace it in full, I think it is impossible, most people use fiat money more, besides fiat money is more practical in the form of real form, then stable fiat money never goes down and rises. Whereas the price of the crypto currency is unstable, the price drops and rises, so crypto currencies are just another payment method, not to replace money.

I think that cryptocurrency will win, but the period of their formation will be 5-10 years. During this time, they are essentially evolving

Currently fiat is ahead of crypto right now, crypto is still struggling to get people adopt it, while fiat is been used by everyone. May some day crypto will dominate, but may also not be possible.

To date, there are no prerequisites for what to consider the cryptocurrency a global payment instrument. Unfortunately, banks will not allow the widespread use of cryptocurrency in the real world.

Never will, crypto make it easier for us in transactions in the digital world, fiat makes it easier for us to deal in real-world transactions, there are still many people - people who are unfamiliar with cryptocurrency may be very new and can be replaced

It is difficult choice for now.  Because I see the crypto market is red now. I predict It will take several years again, crypto will be the win.

Yes, and it will be very difficult for crypto to replace fiat because, as you may observed, not every countries in the world has fully welcomed cryptcurrency. While some countries has welcomed and adapted to the use of crypto, others are kicking against it. I think it may takes a long time before this may happen, and i think that crypto is gaining ground everyday.

Yes you are right. Cryptocurrency can only be an addition to the existing conventional currencies. It is not able to replace the national money of the states, because it will not have any relationship with the economy of any state, as well as due to its high price volatility.

Cryptocurrency cannot replace fiat currencies because not everyone knows about technology and many countries still don't give permission. Many countries do not give permission for Cryptocurrency for payment media. But I hope that this digital currency will one day become an online payment medium.

Of course it's gaining, but it doesn't mean that it will replace fiat one day. Maybe in the year 2049 when the whole world will be digital, but not now.

Offcourse still fiat was widely used than crypto-currency. We know that crypto-currency was still in its infancy and still has plenty of time to developed while Blockchain is very usefull in financial sector i think it needs more time to be widely used globally.

Maybe in future Cryptocurrency will take over but right now fiat wins cause crypto is not getting globally accepted. And the Market condition is not helping matters, till unstable.
