Title: Who Agrees with Me?
Post by: roykiyosi on October 12, 2018, 05:02:28 AM
So I started noticing a pattern.
Everytime the market goes to the moon, the down trend lasts for a several weeks. Meaning, only when Bitcoin it's going to be at it's highest, the altcoins are going to be at the lowest point.
Then, the money from Bitcoin will start going to the Altcoins, making them going up even more.

Have you noticed the same thing?

Yes, it's perfectly normal.
The overall amount of capital for the whole market is limited, so there is insufficient when bear market of the whole market, so most people would choose investment bitcoin, and when the altcoin began to rise, then there will be a money is flowing from BTC to altcoin.

It's just the law of supply and demand. BTC is the major coin out there, we need to remember in a bearish market, only top coins are being traded and gain traction. If the king of all crypto is on verge of dumping, altcoins will likely yo turn sideways. I agree on some poiny but the pattern wouldn't be always the case.

I think the condition that you pay attention to is reversed right now in my opinion. Because right now, Bitcoin users and players are choosing to sell their Bitcoin and buy some Coins in Altcoin. Not a few Bitcoin users are doing that, I don't know what the cause is, but surely they are little by little starting to leave Bitcoin and switch to Altcoin.

Yes I've noticed same thing,  it's because bitcoin controls the market solely, that's why such scenario do happen

In my opinion, when Bitcoin is at the lowest level the altcoin price will follow down. But when the price of Bitcoin is high, the price of the altcoin will stabilize and follow up slowly.

If bitcoin die I think there will have a major problem in cryptocurrency. I also notice that once bitcoin goes up the market turn to green time but when it goes down the market turn to red. This means bitcoin hold the keys to turn the market into a land flowing with milk and honey.

Agree.
This state is repeating constantly and bitcoin just plays with altcoins.

Hello friend, i think it is rather every time the bitcoin price increases, the prices trend keep fluctuating up and back low, and in this year (2018) the prices has been a bearish market conditions.
And again, each time the bitcoin price increases, most altcoins increase too but unfortunately, many altcoins always failed to recover back with the upwards bitcoin trends.

yes. but base on what the others said and what i heard from my friends, that is normal, cause i think ( its on my opinion) when the btc goes up some people sell their holdings and dumper is on the move for me thats why the price of some alts goes down when the price of BTC is pumping.

This is also the other way around. Let me give you another scenario mate. Example you're a big btc holder with 5000btc on your purse, If you hold it while the USD is fluctuating with a very static movement there is no way you can earn a lot. Plus bitcoin is number 1 crypto. One way to leverage it is find a good altcoin that is constantly trading with btc with higher volume than its eth paired.  Meaning he can manipulate the price of that alt to its own interest. I think this is how the whales work.

but what I see is not like that, bitcoin can now still be said to be the king of coins, but the fluctuations in bitcoin prices are not followed by all altcoins, and when bitcoin raises prices it is not necessarily all atlcoin lowers prices or rises, because I think every coin is created for have their own goals, and we cannot use the rise and fall of bitcoin as a benchmark with the rise and fall of other altcoins, even if there is a coin that follows, it is only a few parts, or maybe it can be a coincidence,it in my opinion.

Correct interpretation.
This is a behaviour of crypto market and it depends by traders sentiment and news.
Generally I consider bitcoin as a stable coin so I note that money flow toward bitcoin when market is unstable.

I did not notice this, I see the opposite when Bitcoin grows in price, it is followed by the whole market and all coins also increase in price, it was always, but this is only my opinion

If you pay attention, there are truths. A lot of money goes from Bitcoin and goes to Altcoin. In fact, not a few people sell their Bitcoin and move to coins in Altcoin. Because for them Bitcoin cannot be predicted well anymore. I think this will continue to happen in the future for Altcoin and Bitcoin.

more or less the same, where bitcoin rises high, the altcoin will freefall, then when bitcoin is stable at that level, recovery in the altcoin will occur. but if you don't want to lose when altcoin falls then you can pair to the USDT coin, where this coin gives an inverted graph of the altcoin price
