Bitcoin is often considered a bubble because of the very fast price increase. An expert argues that the increase in bitcoin prices is currently building a base to increase bitcoin prices even further.

In my opinion, we cannot say bitcoin is a bubble because the price rises rapidly and drops dramatically. This increase in Bitcoin needs a process of the amount of market demand, and in a few weeks the decline will occur because when high prices many people sell their bitcoin to get a profit. So, this is natural and cannot be said to be a bubble phenomenon.

I'd say everything is a bubble right now... housing market.. stocks...equities... everything is above its current value and people keep overextending and keep paying it.  I'd say if crypto is a bubble then the bubble is near the end of its correction where as things like stock markets have a long LONG way to fall before institutional money will be interested again.

It has everyday uses, from sending funds over seas, to gambling and tipping.  However I think the price reflects trader interest a lot more than everyday use.  I think traders are not loosing interest in crypto just yet, and it can shoot up past 20,000 mark anytime, or drop even more.

The cryptocurrency goes through bubble phases but comes back because there is intrinsic value to it. Financial asset goes through it though cryptocurrencies are seen as larger bubbles. Bitcoin has seen five bubbles, crashes, and recoveries, and each time it has gained in value, which actually speaks in favor of the cryptocurrency

We cannot say that crypto currency is a bubble just because crypto prices can rise quickly and drop dramatically. Because the cause of rising and falling prices is due to the many requests and offers.

According to Nouriel Roubini, the professor of economics at New York University who is said to have predicted the 2008 global financial crisis, Bitcoin represents “the mother of all bubbles”. He’s the latest in a long list of economics and financial luminaries to have dismissed cryptocurrencies, from Alan Greenspan, the former chairman of the US Federal Reserve, to Jamie Dimon, the chief executive of JP Morgan.
