I think every investment has risks, including cryptocurrency. That's why knowing the mechanism of crypto market work is important for every investor before joining it. If you are not prepared for the risks, you don't need to be here.

2018 is the year when many ico projects appear giving you great ideas and bonus offerings to invest, I think if we invest in crypto we already know the risks we experience, the price of coins can change at any time.

I don't think that is a big risk for an investor, unless they intend to trade and want quick profit. Many newcomers experience the bear market because they are not ready to see their money decrease and that is enough to cause a market crash. So they have to tell many people that crypto is at high risk, even though if they see the trade is fair enough the amount of supply and demand is quite clear.

Has it become far too risky for investors? I do not think so. If anything, it has become more exciting for real investors. Imagine having the chance to buy your top altcoins again at a huge discount.
