Title: What to do in this Dip
Post by: Adrian on October 12, 2018, 07:00:21 PM
At moment i have a large list of coins. most i had bought at prices low, while some i am taking a loss at moment.
with recent dips going on. some are below, as its now a buyers market
should i still eventually invest in more BTC? ETH and LTC

should i sell off some alt coins and re buy at a lower price, since everything is still falling?
thoughts?
thanks

Besides, all you need to do when market’s in dip is to keep you head and be patient foremost. You should remember that bitcoin is never in dip forever, thus you don’t need to be fear of losing too much. Cryptocurrency requires a big risk, probably you have to accept loss, it’s normal. However, it’s clear that when bitcoin is in dip, and you’re going to sell with low is really a bad idea. I suppose that you’d better to hold and keep waiting. Be patient! And then you can reap a huge fruits.

what to do in this dip market, there are two points, for just keeping the coins or trading them. I think we must know which coin is great for holding such as BTC and ETH. but, some coins are good for trading by utilizing the fluctuation such as ADA and Doge.

Investing in crypto such a huge risk, when investing in crypto its important to have a strategy. I have some alts I feel its hopeless , so I decided to exchange them for an alts with long term potential. Looking at your portfolio you have the best alts.

I think it is better to continue investing in more potential coins. I suggest to invest in altcoins, not in bitcoin. In my view, altcoins has a higher chance to have bigger profits. The price movement can be easier to increase significantly. But you must be very careful and more selective yet many altcoins easily become useless coins after listed on exchanges. The best way is to choose top altcoins, for example: top 15 altcoins in coinmarketcap, and avoid to invest in ICO coins (if you are not sure it is a potential coin).

I have invested along the way, at various price points, and will continue to do so as and when I have the funds available. Whilst I think some coins will fail, I am reasonably confident that I have selected a number of coins with good potential, so hopefully overall will come out on top. Will I be able to retire? Doubtful. But hopefully can make a bit of money over the next few years.

If you have FIAT then this is the time to buyback.
So your tactics in trading cryptocurrency don't let your FIAT run out on the Exchange but there must be stock.

I think you need to check your coin first, which coin that that can give you profit so you can sell some amount. And for the coin that cannot give you the profit, it is better to hold the coin. You can invest in bitcoin since this coin will increase in a long time and you can buy another coin with bitcoin too.

I better suggest think x100 before going to another approach in this current market condition. Whether you invest more or sell some of your alts, we didn't know the next things to happen. No assurance when increase or decrease. What we have is hope and positivity. That is why the crypto is in titled as volatile or in other word risky.

If I think, keep the coins you have. If you sell it today then you will lose because the current coin price is low. If you still have money, you should use the money temporarily for more investment, but if not, then you can just give up and wait for the price of the coin to rise again and try it when prices are high.

In this dip I would buy some coins which didn't reach their ATH yet and are relatively new in the market. Because during a bull they have the chance to get pumped like crazy.
Of course do not go for shitcoins and research a bit about the project. There are many coins which are still hidden gems.
