Title: What is market making and how can I become market maker?
Post by: zorchy on October 13, 2018, 12:29:25 PM
I am wondering how these guys operate, how much margin they work on, what kind of funding it takes to try your hand at it, is it viable business model, is it possible for a newbie like me to start learning now. I have seen some bots out there, can anyone point me to best/decent bot and if there is any simulation environment for practice. Any help with this is appreciated. Would like to get some links or books for further reading. Thanks.

From what I can gather its about a 1% margin, I can't point you to any bots but I'm sure if you have the connection and the liquidity, and obviously the right type of bot, you could make massive money from this... Tron's market maker bot moved billions of tokens, was impressive to watch the wallet and how many tokens moved.

I do without bots and this is more realistic, I just wait for the best news to enter the market. My profit margin per coin in the portfolio is 2-5%, the purchase portfolio will be divided at least on 4 coins to avoid large losses when prices decline
