I think that it was really strange that in January when BTC went down all big cryptocurrency exchanges closed registration for new members and they opened it only when the price was low. Then at spring when the downtrend was broken(7000$) there were many news that cryptocurrency now will go up! But whales just made big shorts at 10 000 $and all the news said that cryptocurrency won't go up for along time and market went down to current position.

We cannot say that the market is fully manipulated. In my opinion, the rise and fall of market prices is determined by the amount of supply and demand. The more market demand for Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin will rise. And conversely, if the demand for Bitcoin is small, the price of Bitcoin will drop.

I'd say on the margin exchanges its absolutely being manipulated, and it hurts the rest of the market because through arbitrage most of the other exchanges follow suit. I'd encourage everyone to make a Bitmex testnet account so you can paper trade on margin and just see how silly with a few hundred testnet bitcoins, how much you can disrupt the market. I think you'll be amazed at the power you have, much less someone doing 2000-10,000 bitcoin.

There are a lot of conspiracies going around but I would not say that the closing of popular centralized exchanges were part of market manipulation. But I think there are groups who are capable of manipulating the market.

I think there is price manipulation in crypto, but that is not entirely. I see that demand and supply are two things that are the determinants of price increases and decreases in crypto.

I think the price in crypto is influenced by market trends. And this market trend is determined by the number of requests. If market demand for bitcoin rises, prices will follow. And conversely, if bitcoin demand is low, the price will also drop.

I don't think so. It may look like it if you choose to listen to everyone who got rekt. If we are to believe that the market is fully manipulated, then what is the point of having a decentralized system?

There are also those who manipulate the market by pump and dump. It is done by certain groups to get profits at the expense of others. Because in fact they have made a purchase before giving information about coins or tokens that will go up in their group. So if there are other people participating in buying on his advice, it will be used to sell their assets. This is one form of market manipulation that exists today.

I think no one can manipulate crypto prices, especially Bitcoin if there is a group of people who pump they will do it on new coins, but that is impossible because they need a lot of money to do this.

It is hard to manipulate big coins like BTC ETH etc.. but it is still can happen, there are secret channels that we are not aware of it (Whale clubs) this channels can for sure affect the prices by creating big walls of sell or buy, but if the whole market is against their well they really can't do anything about and it will come to how much they really can tank a certain price, the point is if the market trend is a strong up I really doubt they can do anything about no matter how hard they try to bring it down and the other way applies.

It's possible a market can be manipulated by those whales as they have resources to disrupt the market if they will pumps and dumps. Whales are milking this technology as more and more newbies coming to the system to invest and earn without a proper knowledge.

I think the government is also holding back the market, because it has not been able to subdue and earn a piece of the pie.

No prices can not be fully manipulated but it can also not be denied . It is used as a strategy to earn the profit in huge.

Yes no matter what investment instrument you are in it is a rich man game i will not say it is 100% being manipulate but manipulation is a very normal phenomenal in the market.

I will not say fully manipulated but foul play is definitely present, the point is how big the foul play is present. Since crypto is not a centralize investment a bigger foul play is very possible.

Although there is a possibility that price of cryptocurrency may be manipulated but I do not think that manipution is the cause of the current blood bath .

I fully believe that there is an element of manipulation in the current market situation. With no warning at all, the prices suddenly dropped. Not a gradual sloping but a full bent fast dive to the ground! That smacks of manipulation to me.
