The CEO of Cardano has an obsession to put ETH into the gutter!
Cardano has the technology and capabilities to destroy ETH and some other coins in the top 20: Make no mistake Cardano is a giant slayer!

Hopefully this idea can be done someday. Where the popularity of cardano can be higher. And with the help of a large cardano community will help to realize that dream. Although it will be very heavy, the journey will always be supported so that we can be the best.

Cardano can replace ETH but i do not see it happening soon. It will be difficult as ETH is growing consistently in popularity. Cardano is still on its way of becoming popular.

Cardano cannot be underestimated. This coin has a great team that keeps trying to develop Cardano to be better and acceptable to investors. In addition, Cardano plans to issue a debit card that can be used for shopping. Slowly but surely, Cardano will become superior and pursue ETH.

still too far away to replace ethereum. but it can also happen, with a very long time. ether is still superior to everything from cardano.

Although cardano is a good coin and with potential to rise but i think is not enough to surpass ethereum because ethereum is the most invested crypto today next to bitcoin and is currently use by so many project platforms for their transfer transactions and aside from that it also holds as the second crypto with the highest market capitalization which i believe its hard for cardano to compete.

I agree with you the other reasons cardano will be difficult for replace ethereum, mostly people know more about the ethereum as smart contract and decentralize application dapps platform than cardano. For now I won't believe until such time cardano made it. According to what I know there are specific purpose of every coin. It means if cardano's additional purpose is to defeat other top altcoins then let us wait about it before believing.

maybe in future cardano may defeat ethereum but currently ethereum is more popular coin after btc but i think cardano is good potential coin and have great features and future of cardano is good

According to my research Ethereum is still much better than cardano, both in terms of price and the usefulness of each coin. Ethereum is an established and tested platform while Cardano will still start on the Ethereum line. Ethereum is not only a mature coin and it is a potential coin that qualifies to become the next bitcoin.

We will see that when the time comes like that. Just because the ETH is getting worst repose right now doesnt mean that things are going to get worst day by day for ETH. In fact people behind the ETH platform might have been got activated with double speed that their platform is getting destructed by external platforms and thus this speed and new upgrades will have the power to keep ETH going upwards all the time.
Now I am to sure why that CEO is making such statement but it is indeed because of the ETH getting down.

Great confidence by the CEO of Cardano, and it makes a positivity news to the coin itself and maybe can lead to a price increase although it wont be that massive, but no, Ethereum is already big, both in usability and fan base, so you will not replace Ethereum in a short time or maybe never, because when Cardano is growing, other coinc is growing too, even to catch up is a hard task to do.

Over the last few years, there were so many ETH-killers that even hard to count. And what can we see now? ETH is still here, and no one knows where these ETH-killers are gone. And taking into account the current market condition, only strong coins will survive.
I must pay tribute to Cardano project. It is a promising one and there is no dispute that it has excellent technology. Nevertheless, I don't think Cardano will replace ETH, at least in the nearest future.

It's hard for cardano to will replace ethereum,because its still a early project who don't have a real product ,but if the dev and the team of cardano work serious for the project they maybe will have a chance.

ADA isn’t strong and good enough to replace ETH. Maybe for next 5 years when the technology of ADA is stronger and we can use to develop projects base on ADA platform.

I think with the way Ethereum is going, Cardano might spring surprises, and being that Cardano (Ada) has cone with more scientific development, Ethereum may find it difficult to compete with Cardano in the future.

No one knows what really happens few years from now and Yes Cardano have a big chance to replace ethereum although it very strong crypto but I do believe with strong team and better project platforms it can possibly surpass any other Altcoins.

There’s no way ADA can take over ETH place. Because ETH had a bigger network, platform and well development, plus a wallet network too.

If all the market don't lose its link with Bitcoin events, we cannot think to a grow depending by real avance of the technology, therefore ADA will not grow relating own goals.

I think it will not happen that Cardano will replace Ethereum because ethereum is still very strong and with enough capability to surpass any challenges that may encounter along its way..

Cardano is an ambitious project. It can take its team years to fully implement it. By then, there will be new problems to be solved, and demands for new features to be added. (it sounds familiar?) Cardano may become a better Ethereum, but unlikely, it will replace it.

I think however, there may be a matter more crucial than the current wave of the positive market trend when it comes to Cardano’s ADA.Since Charles Hoskinson is easily one of the most recognizable faces in the blockchain space, it is no wonder that this man is not responsible for a single successful blockchain-based project.

Anything is possible to happen but for now i don't think Cardano will replaced Bitcoin.Cardano should make more successful projects for them to overcome Bitcoin.

If it's really a giant killer why is Cardano now the value goes down and goes down, why?
Maybe it's more appropriate that Cardano is a giant concubine (Bitcoin) because Cardano's price always follows the price of Bitcoin. LOL

I think Cardano will replace ETH too, because Cardano have an amazing developer behind that put all their focus and strength to work 24/7 to make Cardano network faster and stronger
