Title: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies?
Post by: zorchy on October 14, 2018, 08:39:48 PM
We are led to believe that almost all governments are corrupt and that most officials and even leaders of the world are bought.

We saw this for instance with the US elections where rumours are doing the rounds that massive amounts of money were channelled from foreign countries to influence the outcome of the election. This money had to be laundered through shell companies via Banks and complex money laundering systems.

All of this leaves paper trails and this can later be followed and investigated to find the true origin of this money.

Now think about this, why would "corrupt" governments want to appose Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, if they can use it to hide their "corrupt" practices? Would it not make sense just to allow it and then use it to further their political aspirations?

The push back from these corrupt governments does not make any sense. Could it be that they know that Bitcoin and Crypto currencies are not "anonymous" at all and that these transactions can be traced and for this reason they are apposed to it?

Curious to know what you are thinking.

Cryptocurrency is a modern payment technology, of course if the government wants to become a developed country that follows the times, of course they have to accept Cryptocurrency. Because this continues to grow, sooner or later all countries must accept Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. If the government can accept Cryptocurrency more quickly, this will make people in the country more active in the digital world. Of course this is good, good for the country's economic progress.

Cryptocurrency anonymity is not considered one of the key criteria for investor decision making. However, there is always a certain segment of users who see a heightened technological advantage in the increased anonymity of a cryptocurrency, which will allow it to remain competitive in the market in the long term.
However, in the context of anonymity discussions, the most important rule must be remembered: the activity of special services is aimed at offenders, and if you conduct activities legally, even the pseudo-anonymity of Bitcoin and other top cryptocurrencies is quite suitable for you.

Because crypto can be a global payment system that is easy, fast and safe. And crypto has been proven to be able to reduce unemployment in several countries such as by following bounty, airdrop or mining.

Oh yeah, I never thought that far. Maybe all of that has happened in this Crypto world. So, not a few governments legalize Crypto because there are many government officials who put their corrupt money in Crypto money so that they do not leave a paper or account. I think this is a dangerous thing and misusing the Crypto World is a storage place for corrupt money.

The reason the government must accept bitcoin is because bitcoin has a good chance in the future. This blockchain technology can be adopted by the government for various reasons. In addition, by accepting bitcoin, the government can apply taxes that will benefit the country. Isn't this better?

It may be true that the Crypto world is used by state officials who save their corrupt money here, in this Crypto money, or maybe they invest in a Coin or ICO project. All that can be true. Because in truth it is not not possible to watch people from each other because of this decentralized system. I think this is a danger if Crypto is misused by corruptors.

A question that always gets stuck in my mind is,
Why do we have to believe in cryptocurrency?
Has there not been a legal currency, recognized by central banks?
please give a logical explanation, because I personally still half-heartedly trust cryptocurrency

Thank you

I actually never fully believed in Cryptocurrency, but I believe in the profit generated in the world of cryptocurrency. So I chose my main job to cryptocurrency because it was more promising.

Indeed cryptocurrency does not have a central bank, but why do they have value? Because of the value that cryptocurrency has that makes me believe that the crypto world is promising

Cryptocurrency is the future! The world does not stand still and, perhaps, in the near future, the cryptocurrency will replace all the usual Fiat currencies in all developed countries. The government should understand that the introduction of Fiat money into cryptocurrencies should contribute to the emergence of a world of instant cheap transactions between all people and all machines and the development of the entire infrastructure. Cryptocurrencies will help to improve the country's economy in many ways

Getting your head around cryptocurrencies was hard enough before governments got involved. But now that policy makers around the world are drawing up fresh regulations on everything from exchanges to initial coin offerings, keeping track of what’s legal has become just as daunting as figuring out which newfangled token might turn into the next Bitcoin. The rules can vary wildly by country, given a lack of global coordination among authorities. And while that may change, for the time being there’s a wide range of opinions on how best to regulate the space. Below is a rundown of what major countries are doing now.

I don't think it should be replaced with fiat money. Since fiat money has tremendous value, meaning and has its own meaning for each of the major developing countries, like any crypto never eliminate fiat money. my hope coexists and maximizes the function of money without having to replace are things that must be thought to the Government so that a country can advance rapidly growing. that's my view of the need for the Government legalize crypto none other to maximize the functions of money and improve financial.

I think the government must accept Crypto or Bitcoin so that the State can advance in terms of technology and informatics. On the other hand, Bitcoin is very beneficial for the country's economy. Being able to trade without having to use a third party is also a cost that is not expensive, because it is more effective and efficient. Bitcoin is also very helpful for penggaruan in the country to be able to play bitcoin too because it is very profitable. That's why the government must legalize Crypto, especially Bitcoin.

Actually if this Bitcoin is accepted and legalized by the government it can be dangerous. Because it can be misused by high-ranking government officials to save the money, and even then if the money is alone, what about the money Corruption? it could be like that. Maybe the government that legalizes it must form a team that specifically oversees the activities of the Crypto world, especially in Bitcoin.

to make the legal and Government endorsed bitcoin has indeed required a regulation to minimize cheating that can harm the Government or the people.
