The technology behind Bitcoin which is decentralized cannot be changed. Bitcoin will forever remain decentralized. However, the exchanges and merchants involved in its operations may be regulated in order to check the transactions of Bitcoin that pass their platforms.

If bitcoin can be controlled by the government, I think bitcoin can become centralized like Ripple. As we know, Ripple is an altcoin that gets support from banks and Ripple is a centralized type of coin. And maybe that's what will happen to bitcoin if bitcoin is regulated by the government.

If the government accept and legalize bitcoin, I think Bitcoin will be centralized. It is my opinion.what about you?
-
If bitcoin is forever decentralized then no chances at all to be centralized. It could be a waste of time to make bitcoin as centralized system.
-
No, Bitcoin will never be centralized. Current Bitcoin and so on will remain decentralized and not controlled by anyone. And this is what makes most people interested in investing in Bitcoin.

I think It is possible. If the government legalize bitcoin and regulate the bitcoin , maybe bitcoin will be centralized.

It could have happened. but in my opinion, it will take quite a long time. given the Government will reconsider, reassess and must make regulations for bitcoin or crypto to be evenly spread out so there are no gaps.

I think it is possible one day bitcoin is centralized due to unstoppable changing from time to time the market flows. Change is the only thing that couldn't be stop as everything change.

Bitcoin revolution has promised a new era of decentralized payments, where centralized banks/actors are unnecessary as middlemen. However, this promise is continuing to fade! Bitcoin ecosystem is now controlled by few large companies that are signing up thousands of users each day.

Bitcoin ecosystem is now controlled by few large companies that are signing up thousands of users each day. Let us try to understand why this is happening by looking at the history of an analogous decentralized protocol.

The main aim behind bitcoin is decentralization. And it is true that bitcoin may not be centralized but my question is has bitcoin achieved the level of decentralization it promises with these different aspects of bitcoin being centralized?
-
I think the bitcoin will not be centered. It has become a hallmark of the bitcoin himself that there is no hoarding anyone and any specialized agency. give the regulation for bitcoin it probably will happen but not change of nature.
-
Due to how BTC was created and it being blockchain based, I don't think it can ever be centralised like the fiat currencies.
-
Why not we conclude that it will be decentralized forever which we know that it is possible to be centralized as the market is not stable. Change is what we always facing. There is still possibility of centralized bitcoin.
-
I don't think that will happen. bitcoin will always be decentralized and I think decentralization is the advantage of bitcoin where decentralized security systems with better centralization. I myself like bitcoin with this decentralized system.
-
We are not aware of Exchange that centralizes all Bitcoin in one Exchange wallet.
If we deposit and withdrawl then we must go through the hot wallet first to arrive at the intended wallet.
-
I think that bitcoin will not happen will always be decentralized in my opinion because the attractiveness of investors in bitcoin is because there is no centralized one that regulates bitcoin centrally but we control the bitcoin itself.
-
I don't think so because how the government can control bitcoin? Although they have an unlimited resource to control anything they want but still, they cannot control bitcoin and bitcoin will not become centralized. Bitcoin is stand-alone currency, and it's not controlled by anyone. Maybe the government can control the exchanges but not for the bitcoin price.
-
Never! Bitcoin is based on the technology called Blockchain which relies on the principle of decentralization so in any case, Bitcoin won't be centralized as it will kill the core purpose of it. There is a theoretical possibility of 51% attack but again, it will need high amount of resources and money to attempt such attack and Bitcoin will fall to 0 soon after such attack so it would be like a suicide for anyone along with the network so practically it is not possible.
-
Bitcoin is highly anonnymous non-government currency itself, no body can control it under his dominance even not governments. The central authoritatives can only imply laws on it like some contries have already implemente tax and other verification requirements before you exchange bitcoin.
-
Im my opinion is no can be centralized, bitcoin created decentralized and regulation of the government can't make it centralized in some country.
So I like bitcoin decentralized right now. Some government want bitcoin centralized, the government want control bitcoin, track transactions, sender, receiver and easy to manage. But I sure it will be happen.
-
It will never happen if bitcoin framework winds up brought together, I think bitcoin is made for a protection from decentralized framework, for example, banks et cetera. Managed or not, disallowed or not by government bitcoin clients will in any case exist, since it will be troublesome for government to boycott bitcoin until the clients of bitcoin no longer in the nation. It's an arrangement of innovation or much additionally utilizing web sistem that everybody can outflank to utilize it.
-
I do not know that. But the possibility of Bitcoin is not that easy to change and suddenly becomes centralized or centralized. Because so far no one has been able to hold Bitcoin and no one has the responsibility to hold it. On the other hand, if Bitcoin moves to center. Maybe many users will leave it behind.
