Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.
-
I never thought Facebook would be hostile to Bitcoin. I think it's all fine. Facebook also accepts us if we promote Bitcoin through social media including Facebook. so there is no dispute here. I consider Facebook siding with Cryptocurrency.
-
I concur that it's not against BTC. Facebook is probably against scammers who uses bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to trick ignorant and greedy users.
-
Would be interesting to see some facebook coins lol, wonder if that will ever happen. Yeah ICOs are a strange thing, there are a lot of scams and fake businesses in normal non crypto world too, but there are a lot more checks I think.
-
Facebook is not against Bitcoin, but people have used Bitcoin to lure people to take their money and scam them. That is why Facebook wanted to ban crypto related adverts and accounts that are solely used for crypto related stuff.
-
That's the thing. Actually facebook did the right thing of being strict to any ico to control the abuse use of the team of an ico. Atleast the good one will be push to be diligent.
-
Facebook like any other social network will not go against the flow of new technologies. Moreover, it gives a new step to popularize its community and increase its assets.
-
I wouldn't say that Facebook is against Bitcoin but they are very cautious and trying to protect their users.
Having in mind how huge user network they have, they have some responsibilities. And the great deal of money that is coming from advertising. But some crypto adds might be connected with scams and they don't want to have anything with that or take some responsibility.
There are also some rumors that Facebook is going to launch its own currency although I don't believe much in that.
-
Facebook just only ban bitcoin advertisement in facebook. Actually facebook did this just to stay at the safe zone if any project scam but it makes huge loss for facebook. But it also let people to discuss about bitcoin and crypto.
-
They kinda have to restrict the ADs that have ICO on them, but they never actually ban Cryptocurrency as in whole. They are just protecting themselves more than they are protecting their users because when they agree to advertise an ICO they somehow hold some responsibility even tho it is not in a direct way.
-
Facebook is not against cryptocurrency and I think if they were against is they wouldn't have allowed us to advertise on that platform. A time will come where he will create his own face coin.
-
I do not expect that Facebook will be hostile to bitcoin, it doesn't seem to happen because Facebook doesn't do anything about bitcoin advertisers on Facebook. I think they are fine and maybe Facebook will participate in the cryptocurrency only if LOL ;D
-
I don't think this is against or avoiding Fecabook from wanting to risk the existence of Cripto trading which has a huge influence on a country system with advertisement ads that are very potential to invite many followers ..
-

This is good news. I have also read this news and Facebook really allows it. But unfortunately Facebook only allows cryptocurrency ads only in Japan and Japan.
-
Actually facebook is not against bitcoin, they just prohibited some ICO campaign to avoid many investor to result being scam, because nowadays many ICO is using hype or spammer campaign to scam other people that don't have enough knowledge on crypto, so it was their right to protect people and specially there was rumor that Zuckerberg was creating their own crypto.
-
I don't heard or read any news that saying facebook is against bitcoin, In fact currently facebook is really a good avenue to advertise bitcoin and other cryptocurrency because this has a large population of users and with very wide coverage.
-
Unfotunately facebook is not friendly with cryptocurrency as we see in june 2018 they block ads related cryptocurrency. Thats bad

Yes,initially Facebook ban ICO advertising but has recently had to lift the ban. I think Facebook doe hate crypto but due to misinformation, they acted wrongly. Now,everything has come to normal and i believe crypto announcement will be coming back to Facebook.
