I don't know what you mean. But I started to understand that at this time and this year Altcoin was experiencing a downturn right? I know that because currently the Altcoin market is still influenced by the Bitcoin market. So it's not surprising if the altcoin price drops together with Bitcoin.

currently predicting crypto is very difficult, because the price is fluctuating and unstable, I don't know when the price of Altcoin will recover and stabilize, but I will remain patient to wait for it, I believe it will soon recover.

I think your topic tittle should be 2020 is the year of altcoins. Well if you are referring about the bounce back of altcoins it will probably happen in the next few days to come.

If it was very hard to predict the market before , then it's harder to predict the market this time. The movement of the market is very unpredictable and the volatility is high. In one night eth and Btc loss 10% of its value.

I also see that there is no sign that bitcoin will be pumped this year. Bitcoin is still rising and falling, has not shown a significant increase. So, if bitcoin doesn't really rise, then we can conclude that this year is the year for altcoins.

Lol, I think 2018 will kill many altcoins like 2014 did. But I think 2019 will see another altcoin season, around summer time I hope.

Not really. I think that 2018 will go down in history as the most stagnant year. All that we see for 6 months is the price drop. The huge growth of useless numbers of ICO's and outflow of money to fraudulent schemes.
If people invested only in good projects then the market would grow rapidly. And what we see now is just a farce. Many invest in a bubble, and this negatively affects the entire market.

This year all cryptocurrency is experiencing a slowdown, where all prices fall and make the assets so much reduced. What is meant by altcoin years here are the number of ICO projects that exist. So it is said to be an altcoin year or there are other reasons. Hopefully all cryptocurrency prices can start to improve and slowly rise until the end of the year.

It seems to me that 2018 is not a very good year for the whole cryptocurrency, because the market has been going down all year, and now it is literally frozen at the same level!

Yes, i am in the same page with you, altcoins in 2018 has performed badly even Bitcoin. I am beginning to conclude that last was very good for most altcoins and bitcoins, and probably the reason while the market remains bearish all throughout 2018. I think 2019 may be better than this year because many investors and crypto participants may restrategise for the new year to balance up the shortcomings of 2918.

I see the only one way, btc will start moving only after a new year or maybe Q2 of 2019. Bakkt again will be postponed, ETF again will be postponed to February. The bull run will start only in Q3 of the 2019

I don't think if 2018 is the year of altcoins because until now crypto market is still struggling and it looks very interesting if what will happens next considering that we have few months left before this year ends.

I completely agree, there were so many scam projects, so much negative news was around cryptocurrency, the market was constantly falling, twitter was crazy about the people who was doing bounties, in general only one negative.

In 2018 I think you have the truth that this is Altcoin. Because what I'm waiting for is not a few people and Bitcoin users sell Bitcoin more then they choose to invest in Altcoin, I'm sure in the future Altcoin can be independent even though the price of Altcoin is still low and it's influenced by bitcoin, but for the future 2020 can beat Bitcoin, maybe so.

Neither 2018, 2019, 2020, 2030 and more years to come it is always possible to be the best year as we know crypto is volatile means in every year new things to come to be expected.

I doubt if this is a good year for crypto unlike last year there's a good sign in btc but this year seems no good sign come from btc but still hoping by the end of the year crypto will get better.

I think so, because altcoins are coins that can really be traded at this time. Even though we can't take a lot of profit from the trade, at least it can give a little profit.

No no I don't believe and support this opinion because I face a lot of losses this year because at the beginning of 2018 I bought some altcoins like Aion, INS, dogecoin, ripple but now they go to dogs....

I also agree if 2018 is the year of Altcoin, because this year Altcoin has increased a lot even though the price of Altcoin is still relatively low. I think Altcoin will give us satisfaction later in the future. Not many people know that Bitcoin users are slowly changing direction to Altcoin and this is very profitable for Altcoin.

2018 is a better year for altcoins. When you cannot trade bitcoin because the price is declining, you can compare the current altcoin. Although the benefits from altcoin are not many, but I think that can cover losses because we have lost a lot of bitcoin.

Not really. We all know that this year has been really bad for cryptocurrency. The prices of coins in the crypto market rises and fall which has made investment quite difficult for some investors. Perhaps, next year will be a great year for altcoins so let's keep on holding onto the coins

I think this year we have to be more patient because the crypto market is not stable. many people are frustrated and eventually sell their coins at low prices. of course it will make us get a big loss.

In my opinion, this year is the best year for investing in the cryptocurrency because all of the coins prices are down too deep and this help us to buy more and more coins. But for people that already buy the coin in the 2017 and they are not selling when it's high, they need to wait for a while, but they can also buy more coins. I am sure that in the next year, we will see the rise of cryptocurrency and when it happens, all of the coins prices will reach the highest price.

In 2018 this is a good year indeed. But it's good to make purchases and also hold. Because in 2018 there was a huge and even the largest price decline in the history of Cryptocurrency.
