Title: After a Bad Sell
Post by: marco on October 19, 2018, 03:56:47 PM
So this happened to me twice this week, first I sold Bitcoin Cash and the next day, it started booming and has not up considerably and still going strong, then I sold Golem and boom it goes too.

What do you do in such situations? When you finally sell for a small profit after a long wait but then you realize that you missed on big profit with you bad timing.
How do you deal with this? Any tips to minimize this or overcome after such bad timing decisions?

I am about to give my opinion on this but I just found out that it has been copied from another forum so I want to ask first if it's you who also posted it on that forum?

a little right time when you sell your assets ...
But I think you are still lucky ... because you sold your assets when you made a profit ... even though it's small ...

the event that you just experienced may teach you to be more patient in playing tranding

I the first place i don't think its a bad sell ,you make profit ,bad sell is when you sell low then you bought. I recomand you to make a strategy and follow. For example buy a coin and sell only its 3x or more.

For me you're still lucky you get profits even just a little this kind of situation show us a lesson we just have to be patience to wait for the right time cause price is unpredictable now like lower price now then later it bloom.

We should not wait for anything and keep-we need to act! Develop, learn, look for new opportunities to earn.In your case, it is better to do nothing at all and forget about crypto for a while so as not to lose your money.

I think this situation is from the category, and why I did not buy Bitcoin 5 years ago. I sold tokens myself earlier than necessary, and then they grew even more. In such a situation, you just need to use intuition, market analysis and token behavior, read news, chat project. Comprehensive analysis, but no one is immune from such errors. You just need to keep those tokens you believe in longer and not sell them for a minimum profit. Just catch the moment, often there is a sharp increase in the chart 100-200 %, at this point you can sell.

Everyone has a story about selling 'too early', but as has been touched upon above, any profit is an achievement. If you can spot winning trades and manage to get a profit out of them, then you are doing better than many other investors. I could name a few coins where I sold too early - Powerledger, Lumens and XRP. But I've also got out of coins just before a drop, so it's swings and roundabouts. Take pride in your wins, and move onto the next one.

All you can do is wait for the perfect opportunity, you need longer your patience because in this field its a matter of selling and buying at the right time. We all know the risk of volatility of the market and you should aware of risk you take, you will not lose anything unless you sell your coins. Only it loses the value not the quantity, so patience is a virtue.

same with me. I've also experienced the same thing as you. patience is the solution to avoid things like that. if you think the coin has the potential, you can hold it.

Even if you lost a potential better gain, you had a profit which is good.. forget about it it's normal and think that price could fall also.
Personally when price of a coin moves fast high I normally sell not more than half of that and hold the rest.
