In recent times there has been several ICOs introducing KYC for bounty hunters, and that has made many Bounty hunters to feel bad.
I would like to share my opinion over this issue. I never see KYC as a bad idea, KYC will actually reduce scammers from using multiple accounts for one bounty and that will also give the genuine hunters the space to earn more in their bounty hunting.
The place I have issues with ICO projects running bounty programs is the idea of some projects that introduce KYC at the end of the bounty program which I really feel it should not be so. It is the same thing as those who used multiple accounts during the bounty because it will still reduce the amount the genuine hunters will earn.
If KYC should be introduced at the end of bounty, the left over coins/token should be distributed among the genuine hunters otherwise I see it as the same scam to the genuine bounty hunters:
Anyway, this is my own view, If you have a contrary view, please share it. I would like to know more also.

You're right, KYC is very good at reducing prize participants who try to deceive them, but uploading KCY is very dangerous when the prize project that you follow turns out to be a scam.
We must be careful of fraud Bounty program, we must check the team and the background of the project.
-
I think that is not good because your personal data will automatically be known by the founders of the ICO and your personal data could be used for criminal acts that could make you experience problems later on, so you should be careful when giving up your identity.
-
I don't like KYC because if ICO reveals a scam you gave your data and ID/passport to criminals... on the other way this is one of few methods to limitate multiaccounts in bounty.
-
Personally I don't attend bounties which has KYC. I don't find it clever to give my identity to any project. Their database can get hacked and my personal information can be seen by third parties.
-
KYC for Bounty is good, because it can prevent fraudulent acts from bounty hunters. But we recommend that before we do KYC, we must ensure that the bounty project that we follow is a good bounty and guarantees the security of our data. Don't carelessly do KYC on a bad bounty project.
-
I try not to pass on the identity card for generosity. I think it is very dangerous. Then they can sell our documents to others for money. A complete set of personal documents costs about $ 15-70. This is only for one person. Multiply this amount by 2000-10000. Get a lot.

I see a lot of Ideas coming in and for sure I am impress and for this I will say, Be careful not to share your information with scam projects.
-
I think giving our identity is good for good and avoiding cheating someone who wants to get more results by using multiple accounts.
-
It's actually dangerous for us to get a scam project and then our identity is used by criminals who get our KYC. It's better to look for bounties that don't use KYC than those who use it.
-
If you are an honest member of a bounty campaign, you will not be worried about this verification procedure. But there are reasons for which many are afraid to send their documents, for example, they worry that their data may be stolen and used by scammers.
-
Indeed, KYC is very burdensome for the current bounty hunter. Especially if only get a reward slightly will reject the presence of KYC. But actually KYC is well there is also to avoid cheating about multiple accounts. Because Multiple Accounts are very detrimental for the developer and only profitable for greedy individuals. So maybe that's what makes Bounty using KYC to get reward.
-
Not necessary, KYC is only for investor who bought a lot of token for legal identiy reason, so there is no reason if bounty hunter required KYC
-
In my opinion, as long as it doesn't aim to make it difficult for the bounty hunters to claim prizes, I think that's good. Because, by following KYC, it will automatically get rid of fake accounts. So that later, only real people have the right to join the bounty program
-
In my view, doing a KYC in a bounty is a natural thing. because that is a condition of the bounty's regulation to get paid. I don't think there is anything to worry about, we just think positively.
-
The views you've share is a positive impact to those actually doing right and with the legit project in the market. You've see, cryptocurrency is an international ecosystem which has no direct regulation from the authority.. Have you thought that those submitted docs will might fall to the wrong organization and you're identity might be stolen and will be use in wrong doing activity. In general, I'm not comfortable in given my identity in exchange for the small amount. If I may have choice, I will surely deny any project that would requires kyc.
-
KYC is good but one need to be sure of the company that is requesting for the KYC so that they will not missue the information
-

i personally believe That's not fair. If I was you, I wouldn't give my personal informations to a company which starts his business by hiding important terms like this one. A KYC scam can be easily done and can be really dangerous for your personal life.

Well, here I see an error, try to understand the function and usefulness of the KYC itself, whether the project you follows whether it goes into criminal action or not,
I think KYC for HUNTER it's normal because it can reduce Multi accounts for one user the level of fraud will decrease
-
I don't think KYC should be necessary for Bounty Hunters. Actually KYC is against the cypherpunk nature of cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies were all about anonymous and fast transactions. However look where we are now.. No more anonymity left. KYC is mandatory for everything. Crazy.
-
KYC for bounty or airdrops is not necessary please be careful with this kind of activity do not give your personal data to any bounty that require KYC

I personally dont like KYC for bounty hunter. I always rejected that. I doubt about my identity will safe.
-
I think this is disrespect to us. I'm trying to get a little money. If it were to receive more than $ 10,000, it would be possible. I participated in one bounty to get tokens worth $ 67, they asked me for my details. I did not give away, my tokens remained with them. I do not like this policy. >:(
-
I think KYC is no need to apply for bounty hunters. It is too risky because there is no guarantee for the security of participant's personal data. If the reason is to prevent scammer issue, why don't to solve it by other ways.
-

I agree mate. Too many ICOs are scams. I am worry about my identity. So, I always search bounty without KYC.
-
For successful Ico projects I like to use KYC, but if ICO is not successful or scam, it can be dangerous because our identity can be misused by irresponsible people.
-
I think that KYC is not good, because our identity can be known by the Ico team, the problem can be misused, for something criminal.
-
This is the only way to stop cheaters using multi accounts. So the measure is necessary.
-
I think that KYC is one of few ways to catch multiaccounts and bots for bounty campaigns so I prefer bounties that requires KYC.

Great!
Another Bounty hunter that thinks like me! 8)

I am not agree about KYC for bounty hunter. I am afraid the bounty is scam. I doubt my identity will secure.
-
KYC is ok for me but what I am worried about is when an ICO turns in to a scam and use KYC info for something illegal.
-
KYC for bounty hunters is not necessary but became of huge scammer the team is push to implement in order to identity to scammers or maybe if possible the terrorist.
-

This is another good point to look at, what if the project starts the bounty will all KYC required and at the end, it turned out to be a scam, it means all the Hunters are in great danger.
-
It is okay for the sake of credibility and avoid certain scam accusations. Some bounty hunters out there have alt accounts, so if they were able to join those accounts in certain bounties they would have a hard time proving them real and not only just alts. Not only we can remove the abusers but also we can make this forum clean of account farmers so I guess KYC is a good idea.
-
everyone has their own opinions about the kyc system. with the kyc, a bounty hunter must collect their personal data. if they cannot collect it,then they will not qualify.
-
In my opinion, KYC is good for a bounty project. because this can reduce people who will cheat in the bounty hunt. but in reality many people disagree with KYC, and I'm sure these people are people who used to cheat.

I agree mate. I think uploading KYC is very dangerous. Personal data is very privacy, dont share it.

if there were no scammers I liked the kyc for bounty hunters and I was still afraid to share my identity

That is very easy, if you are afraid of KYC, then leave a bounty campaign using KYC. You know there are so many cheats here, and that everyone knows. So all Bounty participants must be prepared to accept the risk. That is why we must be careful in choosing Bounty.

It's difficult to be transparent in crypto. Doing KYC is not a guarantee that all of those participants had passed the KYC as this is subjective to the admin. They can change rules anytime and they can hide the list who submitted KYC.
Being a bounty hunters we can't expect that those bounty managers and dev are fair to us. They will take first their shares before us.
-
Bounty hunters should not be tested by KYC, such a claim against bounty hunters is illegal. The KYC verification is aimed at preventing the laundering of dirty money and other illegal actions, that is, such verification should apply only to investors who invest their money in ICO projects. Bounty hunters do not invest their money and therefore should not pass this test.
The same applies to citizens of the United States and China. The ban on participation in the ICO to these citizens should be considered only as a ban on investment. These states believe that their citizens may suffer material damage as a result of investing in risky ICO projects and that is why they are prohibited from participating in them.
-
I think KYC isn't any need to apply for bounty hunters. it's far too risky due to the fact there's no assure for the security of participant's non-public data. If the reason is to save you scammer difficulty, why don't to clear up it with the aid of different way.
-
KYC when viewed from regulations, is very well applied to avoid legal problems. Crypto users or buyers will be more recorded and protected from money laundering cases. that I can conclude from the benefits of KYC.
-
I don't agree with KYC. KYC provides our personal data, It is too risky given to people that we don't really know. If something bad happens in the future, they won't guarantee the security of the data. This makes me so afraid with KYC.
-
First of all, it should be noted that the KYC check is illegal for bounty hunters. So far, no team has given proper arguments about the legality of their claims. However, some ICO teams also agree that bounty hunters are not investors, and therefore should not be tested by KYC.
In addition, if there are so many frauds among ICO teams, as well as states that are not regulated by this process, it is dangerous for them to give them their confidential information.
-
KYC is better with regards to eliminating the scammers(unreal persons) in the campaign. Sometimes once the inner core of the system interfered by unwanted things it is possible that it will be use in the wrong way. Two sides of KYC advantage and disadvantage.
-
So true. KYC will reduce the Scam Project, so this will benefit all of us, especially potential investors. So with the KYC in the ICO, we can tell which projects are really serious and also good and which projects are just abalies or scam projects. this will make it easier for us, so I personally don't mind the existence of this KYC.
-
I have a very negative attitude to the teams that introduce the KYC procedure at the end of the company. For me, they are scammers who just don't want to pay hunters. For any reason, I do not want to go through this procedure and it turns out. I worked for nothing. Although it is no longer a problem to buy these documents. The price is around 10 dollars.
-
In my opinion, it depends on the project we follow, if the project team is good and good, I really like the KYC, but if the project is a scam, my personal data can be misused by the team itself.
-
I think that KYC is not suitable, due to the fact our identity can be acknowledged by way of the Ico team, the trouble may be misused, for something criminal
-
Both investors and bounty hunters are all company costumers, so if a company demand to know all it costumers I don't think anything is wrong in that aspect.
