Title: Hardfork or Making new Coin?

every year, I was surprised by the increase in new coins on the exchange. Each ICO competes to create new products and coins to make someone interested in investing. But some coins do Hardfork to make coins better than before. Like hardfork that happens to bitcoin that produces new coins like BCH, BTG, BCD. So in your opinion, is it better to make a new coin or do hardfork?
