I often get emails when i'm taking part in a bounty, i will immediately ask the bounty group if it's not an email from their dev, all i do is ignore that email.
-
I lost my asset too. I think it's because of cardboard virus. The hacker got my MEW private key and stole by all ETH . I am careful about it now. Thanks for the post. Beginners can be more careful about this.

Just do not bother signing up on links sent thru email. Report them as phishing or spam instead. If there is an unsubscribe option, do that. The thing is, many already had access to our emails used in bounties and airdrops from open spreadsheets.
-
You just have to be very careful when you receive such kind of email. I always ask if them are true or scam in telegram project group and never filled form without asking before.
-
I also received such letters, I visited, I saw that there was a wrong MEW site, and I didn’t do anything, it was immediately apparent that it was a hoax, and in general you have to be very careful when working with your wallet.
-
that is very true because some scammers and hackers can use that opportunity to that thing to lure people into suspicous sites and get sensitive details from them. Beginners here are to note this carefully so that they don't fall prey to the attempts of these hackers. Stay safe greeners!

I do not wait for the mail, I certainly do not open. because the virus may or may not be a scam. so keep your information confidential and confidential.
-
Getting into phishing sites, links with virus is the beginning of lose all of your earning tokens. We cannot do to recover it but we can do to double our hard work to earn much bigger than what we've lost. Move on is the best step to focus.

The only useful thing which we can get from such emails is this message that such bounty actually takes place. Having a name of bounty its easy to find proper place to join safely

Before signing up in any bounties, you should take care first for the security of your wallets. Well, as far as I know some online webs for wallets such as ETH have scam sites that could definitely steal your wallets information then get the money out of it.We just need to be extra careful.Saving the legit site could be helpful too.
-
I am generally careful with any and all emails from unknown sources that I receive. More often than not I don't open them at all, let alone actually filling out any personal information they request.
-
Yes,its good to be careful, and be alert to the fact that scams exist. When dealing with uninvited contacts from people or businesses, whether it's over the phone, by mail, email, in person or on a social networking site, always consider the possibility that the approach may be a scam.
Also now who you're dealing with. If you've only ever met someone online or are unsure of the legitimacy of a business, take some time to do a bit more research. Do a Google image search on photos or search the internet for others who may have had dealings with them. If a message or email comes from a friend and it seems unusual or out of character for them, contact your friend directly to check that it was really them that sent it.

I think all of us who join in the bounty have to get a loss because almost bounty is a scam. I hope that your friend can ask in the bounty telegram channel especially if he can ask with the manager or the team and I am sure that he will get the answer. In the next time, make sure that he will join in the bounty after he can ask about the bounty in the telegram channel so he can avoid getting fraud. Make this as his lesson, and we should learn from his mistake.

what if it's about airdrop? because usually I also often fill out forms like that even though indeed, airdrop tokens are not always landing into the wallet. For bounty itself, I've never seen anyone ever send an email to me about that and invite or try to claim
-
We need to be extremely carefull about what we click on emails a friend got scammed last week by clicking on a email link.. Ever since then I don't even click on links from any emails at all.
-
People should never open any link from any email they get, even if the sender is a trusted sender, when you receive an email from a trusted party or not trusted party just close the email and go to the site yourself.
-
i think you just carefully with that form, you can strengthen protection the your acount by 2-step security and protect by your mobie phone.
-
I once got an email like that, because I am a beginner and I don't understand so I ignore it
