Title: Some thoughts on pointing system
Post by: Leonardo on October 30, 2018, 06:02:31 AM
There are some factors affecting pointing systems, as "admin" once mentioned:
there is 3 systems of compensation on posts and replies
1- the flat compensation : 1 point per reply / i sometimes vary it but currently at 1 point
2- the per word system : currently disabled because we are working some modifications on it / will be activated if / when over.
3- karma > which should be the main drive behind replies > quality replies get karma , 1 karma = 10-60 points when processed on withdrawal

Karma was born to promote posting and post quality but it doesn't play any role in awarding point. A poster with high amount of karma tends to produce higher quality post than a low-karma poster. Besides, posts on "News related to cryptos", "Blockchain and technology", "Legality & Taxation of Cryptos", "Banks & Cryptos" and their child boards, which mostly are copy-paste from news article should be low-pointed.

I did not see this rule before. Good catch.

Let us give admin the benefit that he/she already figured out the rules here. If nothing has been written yet, then it is necessary to clearly state the monetization system for Karma.
