There are a lot of suggestions to deal with the bear market. I saw it from many crypto forums, they were discussing almost the same problems. Commonly, people suggest to HODL and buy more during the bear market. They said that the bear market has another good side, It allows us to collect more tokens / coins.
My questions:
1. Do you think It is the best strategy to deal with the bear market? Can the strategy lessen our losses?
2. Do you have another opinion that may be better to deal with bear market?

There is no assurance to be guarantee to have a decent profit in holding and buying crypto during bear market.
It is always depends on individuals understanding and proper performance in order to have a better result. Actually, sometimes holding and buying is the only solution because there's no choice.
It is more risky to sold the potential tokens than holding and buy more of it.
It is our decision to wait the result even it takes more time.

This is the best strategy if you have enough fiat to buy more while the market is down. It somehow lessen your possible losses since the average cost of your investment also goes down from buying at a cheaper price.
If you don't have any fiat to invest then the best method is scalping. It is risky but if you get it right, you can increase the size of your bag by 2x, 3x, or even more.

In bear market only hold and buy altcoins and others popular altcoins. Last week I bought 10 Ethereum and some bitcoin for future to get more profits. Only patients and holding is my main target in bear market.

What you say is true and that's the best.
For the problem of reducing losses a trader has considered Cutloss.
No one is safe investing in crypto. If you really intend to invest in crypto, you better do it as you say.

Just HODL. Patience pays off. If you not a professional trader - stay away from exchanges, and don't use them like a wallet. Found a good wallet with a private key.

If you remember that Bitcoin and ethereum have already gone down, after which there was explosive growth, it seems to me that nothing will change and in the future we will see more than once the same growth, only maybe it will not happen as quickly as we would like, therefore Hodl policy is the most suitable!

My suggestion is this, "don't keep on hodling without proper understanding on your cryptos and also if you want just to earn and that chance is given to you during bear market never continue to hodl, the important Us you lost nothing."

I think the only strategy is buy some coins which so cheap when you compare with before and wait till market rising. Except that, you can sell tokens which didnt decrease so much yet.

I think that these situation of the bull or bear market depends largely on individuals, everyone seem to have his or her crypto buying and selling strategies. There are people have good knowledge in crypto focast and may buy during the bull market and still make huge profit, while some guys prefers to buy at bear market and hold. I like to buying at both market situation because, sometimes you buy at the bull market and prices could still pump.
Learning the crypto forcast will definitely help in buying and selling and not when prices are dropping.

Your opinion is true. However, I myself also have some thought, the additional thought about the strategy in this bear market.
The strategy will depend on what coin we are owning. Since, different coins may need the different treatment or strategy. HODL, buy more, and sell coins, should be thought deeply. It may be one of them and maybe all of them are good.
Hence, it may be better to diversify our investment in this bear market.
1. HODL
If we think of HODL, we must know which coins are perfect for holding. Commonly the coins from ICO with the real product in the future will be very promising for HODL. But of course, analyze the right ICO tokens or coins that really have promising concepts in the future. Then, we can also make hodl for some promising and big volume coins as listed on the market such as Ethereum and EOS. They are considered profitable for the future.
2. Buy more and Sell
I think this decision relates to trading strategy. In this bear market, the chance for trading is also still promising. What we must do is analyzing which coins are good for day-trading. they will have big volume and high circulation on the market. We can be a day-trader to buy the coins in the low price and then sell them after increasing some and so on. For example is the Doge coin, ADA, and also Tartaria.
However, I'm sure that every holder has the different strategy to come up with the profits.

You are right, diversify our investment in various coins/tokens will maximize the profits and minimize losses. In this bear market, we can easily multiply our holding coins/tokens.
1. HODL is a strategy to wait for the next rises after bad decline period. The holders only sell their investments on green cycle or bull run. It is suitable with the basic principle : to buy on low rates and to sell on high rates.
2. Buy more and Sell. Multiply investments while the prices of cryptocurrencies are still low. It is the right way in investment method, but remember that not all coins/tokens good to hold/buy. More selective in analyzing them, some coins/tokens may not survive long during decline cycle. Just buy the most promising coins/tokens.

You need to hold because, apart from this, there is nothing left, and you should not buy cryptocurrency if your portfolio is already full, you need to wait until you will make profit with the current portfolio.

You can sell tokens that haven't decreased so much. Or buy some coins that are very cheap compared to before and wait until the market rises.

I have the same strategy with you to deal with the bear market. HODL is the most effective way to avoid losses and do unnecessary selling during the downturn of cryptocurrency. I agree with most people to advice this strategy in bear market. I think everybody does it if he believes in the future of crypto.

One of the best ways to deal with the bear market is to say no to panic sell, and hold your coins so you not sell no matter what the issue is.

It really depends: if you are a long term investor the best strategy is to buy/accumulate when price are low like these months and hold your coins until prices will be higher.
If you are a daytrader you can also use short selling to make profits also in this bear market.

For now we don't have any strategy for bear market. The only thing we Knw is hold or buy when in bear market and sell when in bull market

I agree with the suggestion to HODL in the bear market. It can keep the values of our investments to stay there. We have a chance to trade them with a good prices one day. But to buy more is a choice, It depends on what people believe on the future and their investment types. For long term investment, bear market is the time to buy more.

In order to deal the bear market effectively everyone must convince that there is the end of this. Meaning to become more patience is necessary to overcome bear and experience the bull run in case surviving the bear. It requires great positivity to deal effectively. How? Patient is necessary. Proper conviction with proper understanding is necessary also.

1. Buy the POS coin or any coin which can give you dividend when you hodl them. Try research first which coin is a good POS coin or a good coin which can give you a dividend when you hold them.
2. If you want to invest, invest in some stage. Example : Neo price is 16$ at the moment and you have 1000$ to invest. Then invest 200$ of your fund first. after that wait and see the market condition to decided to invest more or change into other altcoin. If the Neo Price is drop 10%-15% again you can make a new step again to invest more or not. so when the market is ready to going up you can got your profit. ^^

In my opinion, the best way for now is to observe the market trend from time to time and base on your analysis if there is big chance that it may recover back, then hold such coin. In the event where you notice that such coin is no longer recovering, then you need to decide immediately and not wait any further as the market might drop more.

In my personal strategy in trading alternatives coins in bear market, i used short term investment when i have got the profit even it is small amount of profit, i will take it and order buy again on lower price. I don't use the strategy to buy more in bear market except if i want you use long term investment to be an investor in cryptocurrencies buy the coins and holding them for couples years later.

It is really hard to handle the bear market either you have small investment or good investment.
You should definitely learn how to read the market and learn TA since it is going to be needed only a few times but it will be critical for some moves.
Long term investments should be your focus and you always have to have some fiat to reduce the buying points of yours.

I agree with these strategies of people that in a bear market you need to hold and buy cheaper coins. But when this bear market is over nobody knows, maybe it is such that it will never be there again.
