I think they can not regulate crypto currencies with decentralised system. They can ban exchange websites or they can regulate some centralized exchanges they can try to ban some bank accounts which used for buying cryptocurrencies etc. But they can not regulate decentralised coins. They can regulate centralised things. Or maybe they can shut down the internet and we will be rekt :D

crypto regulation especially altcoin is not possible to regulate supply and activities that take place because this is decentralized but if you set the amount of tax when depositing or withdrawing can still be done

It is possible but the government only has a chance to regulate all matters related to state authority, not everything in crypto world. However, I hope the government can be wise to regulate the matters. Otherwise, It can inhibit the development of crypto activities on a country.

It might be difficult but there is nothing government will like to do that they cannot achieve, it is possible for the government to regulate cryptocurrency.

if the development of cryptocurrency is getting better and also more and more people are interested in cryptocurrency, I think that could happen. we know that now many countries have begun to accept cryptocurrency.

Who knows, maybe they will invent their technology for this, or just all cryptocurrency companies will cooperate with them if the green light will be given.

the government cannot make regulations for crypto. crypto is not state owned and is free on sale. that's what I know about crypto.

Interesting topic but I am not really sure. There are some negative and positive on this one. We have to understand that regulating altcoin means regulating the whole decentralized crypto industry too. Maybe a regulation is the only way to make crypto becoming mainstream but I wonder what will be their difference to stock market.

The truth is without the centralized structures, cryptocurrencies are almost useless. So should the government want to fully regulate the space, you need to first ask what sort of regulation it's going to be. There's regulations, and there is outright ban. Regulations seek to put the operations of crypto entities within the confines of the law and is mostly intended to protect citizens/residents of such countries e.g. the USA. Bans are extreme cases of regulations often accompanied by "cease and desist" orders and other centralize institutions will be barred from facilitating transactions most especially the banks.

maybe the government can regulate it but I don't think it will be possible to fully manage it, because we know that crypto is a decentralized currency, and it is very difficult to carry out supervision or influence fully.
