The best solution to save your wallet from any hacking attack is hardware wallet as that wallet don't have any password or private key, which hackers try to steal from you through many ways. There are many good hardware wallets are available in the market and you can choose anyone as per your choice.
-
Yes it is. I absolutely agree with you. But you still need to be very careful, as the scammers are constantly coming up with something new to steal your money from your wallet.
-
Yes, hardware wallet is still the safest wallet for storing your assets. but please take care of your hardware wallet because it's vulnerable to being lost or stolen! The thief does his job because there is a chance.
-
I think all wallet is safe, but in one note, you should able to save your private key in really safe place and don't let somebody know about it, though you using hardware wallet if you can't use it with safe that same you will lost your assets, because at this time so many steps to hack wallet.
Using hardware wallet indeed the safest wallet, but you can't neglectful to keep your wallet, maybe one day there will be a virus which can manage your hardware wallet and we are never know about that.
So always follow the rules and stay safe :)

The stories of hacks are getting on the increase day by day ranging from wallets, exchanges, etc. The best thing as an individual to do for yourself is to get a hardware wallet and save your coins in there. With that, you are at least 99% protected from all the hacks and thefts online.
-
It's not totally true that hardware wallet do not have a private key, like ledger nano S. They have but it's hidden to you so that you can't share it for errors or hackers can't take from your computer. It's very important to put recovery phrase in a VERY SAFE place.
-
I see your point and agree with it. I think the best way is getting hardware wallet. I guess the best wallet is Ledger Nano. But you can also use simple software wallet if you will be more attentive.
-
Yes. Indeed, hardware wallets are fairly reliable, but the rest of the wallets are also good, the main thing is simply not to store keys and passwords on a computer or phone and it seems to me that there will be no hacking!

Hardware wallet is really recommended but it is very expensive specially if you have only few cryptos at your disposal. To avoid being hack just make sure you will have anti virus installed in your gadgets and proper safe keeping of all of your accounts, passwords and private keys. Make sure you have duplicated all of these so that in case if your device will be damaged you always have a back up.
-
Yes, you are right. And I give a little extra to be more careful when opening the web. We recommend that before you open the web it is better to look at the site you are aiming for is it correct If it's correct you can continue.
Because there are many hackers attacking through the web.
-
Hardware wallet is secure but it is not safe if the owner is careless. No matter what kind of wallet you are using you are responsible to take care every possibilities of stealer factor. The real answer how we make it safe? Is, it is individual duty to take care providing proper using the private key and be noticeable in every sites and links with regards to your wallet purposes.
-
Hackers will not hack the wallets on which there are very small amounts, but in order to protect themselves, of course, the most stable and common methods at the moment are to use trezor or ledger nano.
-
To avoid hacking, make sure you have installed an anti-virus in the gadget and safe storage of all your accounts, passwords and private keys. Make sure you duplicate all this so that if your device is damaged you always have a backup.
-
In anticipation of theft from our wallet, do not save too long in the wallet assets. Immediately sold and cashed if the assets we have have profit. To avoid something we don't want.
-
True, to be safer from hackers, we should use hard wallets. because most hackers do their actions through the internet. after you choose a wallet, my advice is to secure the key.
-
Good advice, but the hardware wallet and online wallet have risks, I can't explain in detail but never once in a while you give your private key, password and other information related to your wallet, you can lose everything you have if you are careless.
-
All there are risks, but most importantly you remain careful and do not save all your assets only in one wallet. use multiple wallets if you have a lot of assets.
-
More stable codes would be better in the market. Projects are lean on to the blockchain's hard to hack mechanism, but they are not focusing on their own securities, so the blockchains which is written by individuals can be hacked easiliy.
-
I think. Most of the hacks that happen frequently are caused by the account owner, if you can keep your details safe, it will help you a lot and reduce the hack.
-
I think that besides using most of these hardware wallets, we have to be vigilant at all time. Always remember to logout from your system especially when used out your home or office. Also, Remember to logout if yiu used a public computers.
-
Another trick you can use if you haven't an hardware wallet is to save your private key BUT with 2 or 3 letters/digits changed, so that even if someone steal it it's useless. You have to remember the 2/3 digits and to write manually after you copy/paste it
-
No matter the wallet you are using to store your tokens, there is always a vulnerability of your details to leak through one process or the other. For me, your hardware wallet details should be kept in a place where only you have the access to that place and be sure not to disclose or give any idea about your crypto details.

Sometimes the best way is to ensure safety is to be always precaution on things you've do. I've been using wallet online but so far I didn't even fall on a scam before. I agree that hardwallet is safe to store some coins and tokens but storing it online would also be safe as long as you know how to handle a good security. Install some key safe app and software and you'll good to go.
-
It doesn't matter if your wallet is hardware, cold, and whatever. You know what really matters is how you make sure that it is safe. Taking care if the wallet is your duty in order to prevent interception of the hackers
-
It is really recommendable to used hardware wallet but if we cannot afford it use the cold wallet with strict maintenance to maintain the security of your wallet.
-
Everyone really need to avoid some links and always check if the person who sending anything to you is trusted. But there are still some hackers using different accounts that's why we need to be careful.
-
Well, I think the hardware wallet is the safest option, .... nevertheless if you have a regular wallet and you have the private key written somewhere, and/or you have a VPN you are relatively safe from hacking ...
Hardware wallets are a bit overestimated I think...
For crypto to evolve and be used by regular people, this has to end... so these hackers will have gathered some money but have delayed the global adoption and as such the value of the money they stole...
if we all cooperate, we can change the world

Yes I see alot of hacks. We must be carreful. Dont save you private key at device. It is my way to keep them from hacker.
-
First of all, in order for our funds to be safe, we do not need to keep them on exchanges. And secondly - we need to take care of storing private keys from the wallets in a safe place from hackers!

But if you are not careful also from the hardware, you can also save files that can extract your files in it when you paste them in the notebook.
And more dangerous all of your files can be copied by themselves.

We need to take responsibility for our wallet from the attacker, and we need to secure the wallet especially if we use the hardware wallet. Make sure that there are no other people that will know about the hardware wallet and we need to save the hardware into a safe place that only us that will know.
-
I think we just must be careful doing the all things in this crypto world. Hacks will happened if you give them a chance like following the bad airdrop or giveaway or hardfork that need a private key. or you go to phising website/ not careful seeing the website url so your investment going into nothing. Hardware wallet is good but you need to buy it and i only recommended hardware wallet if you have a lot of valuable cryptocurrecny and of course in the high value
-
We can overcome them by been extremely carefull in the type of airdrop we join. Let try and install some software that we protect our wallet from been hack by the attackers.
-
improve account security and avoid phishing sites,
because hackers will easily break into our account if we have been hit by phishing.
doing both things can keep our account safe, at least minimize hacker attacks.
-
Trying to develop safer software can be the first step on this. Most of the projects are looking for blockchain developers, and when they couldn't find them, they are transforming any developer to blockchain developer. So, this looks like a bad decision, ha?
-
Yes i agree with you safest solution for hacking is hardware wallet. We need to use hardware wallet and we shouldnt store our coins in exchange accounts. Also we need to be careful while investing icos . You know too many icos are scam these days. If we dont have hardware wallet we need to be careful about phishing ethereum webwallets. You know lots of people lost their money because of phishing website or mail attacks.
-

That's where our level of security is because this is what happened.
If we are not careful in storing hardware wallets, our history will end.
-
The hacks are rampant and we can deal with it through KYC attachment to every wallet and the establishment of crypto court. So that any wallet that moves money not belonging to that wallet should not be allowed to trade them.

Hardware wallet is good but not many people will want to fork out the money to get them. The problem with hardware wallet is that you have the tendency to misplace them and which is somewhat equal to being hacked where you lost your wallet.
-
Hacks are numerous nowadays, we have to take serious precaution over our wallet by using hard ware wallet. Many ICO are scam so we have to be careful not to fall into the hand of the attacker's. It our duty to protect our wallet.
-
To prevent ramphant hacking incident i think people should be careful in using their private keys in different websites and also private keys should not be kept in online storage and make use to stored in an offline storage like usb and hard drive storage device.
