Each coin has its goal and i think we should judge the performance by how well each coin is progressing towards its goals. It is obvious on the market that Bitcoin holds the number one position with the largest market cap due to its huge number of investors.

I am not very interested right now to invest in Bitcoin. I am currently choosing Altcoin and also choosing to be able to invest in Altcoin. I want to see that Altcoin continues to grow because currently the interest in Altcoin is getting more and more days and also growing. I am sure that in the future Altcoin will be able to beat Bitcoin and become more independent.

Yes, it is true that every altcoin has a purpose but I am more interested now to invest in altcoin. Bitcoin hold the very unique key that can turn the market up side down if bitcoin investors choose to do so. Every altcoins have their own purpose in the market and they have their own supporters.

Altcoin is basically currently under Bitcoin. I can't guarantee that Altcoin will be superior to Bitcoin. actually Altcoin will be able if Altcoin can be free from the influence of bitcoin and become an independent Altcoin. With that Altcoin will have great potential to be superior to Bitcoin. I will see Altcoin beat Bitcoin in the future.

I don't think alternatives coins is better than bitcoin because for the moments bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrencies, still there are no alternatives coins which defeat the bitcoin. So in my personal opinions for the moments bitcoin is still number one but does not mean there are no potential in alternatives coins to be the next king of cryptocurrencies, and in my personal experience the alternatives coins is more profitable than the bitcoin.

btc is the most superior coin with the high price. not wrong if many people want it. In addition, BTC is also suitable for long-term investments. personally, I prefer btc rather than altcoin because I think the prospect is also better.

It is impossible to say that some of these coins are better or worse, we can say that they are good in their own way, because they were designed for different purposes!

You can make more profit if you compare with bitcoin. Let's give an example; assume btc is 6k usd, when btc price was peak point in the last december as an 20k, it means 3.3x. Of course in the past when btc was 1 usd, somebody made crazy profits but we are talking in this circumstances. Let's give an example for altcoins; quarkchain; when it listed in first exchange after ico, people who buy from ico made 17x. Summary if you will find good project to invest, it will for sure more profitable than btc.

I can't conclude by saying that altcoin is better than bitcoin, Let not forget that this coins were created or design for different purpose. For me the one that will met up my expectations is the best.

I believe altcoin can surpass bitcoin in the time to come, bitcoin is seen as the significant of crypto might be the fact that crypto is start off by bitcoin and not altcoin. If an altcoin is able to have better technology or area that can surpass bitcoin why does altcoin lose to bitcoin.

Anyway, many altcoin devs and founders are claiming that their coin or token are better than Bitcoin in terms of performance and the most common comparison is that theirs is faster. And they could be very well right since we all know that although Bitcoin transaction speed improved, it is still slower compared to others like Litecoin or Dogecoin. But in terms of popularity and adoption, no one is still close enough to Bitcoin.

Maybe altcoin is still under bitcoin now, but I'm still more interested in altcoin. Even though we don't know the certainty for its future, but I believe that altcoin promises every investor, for that reason I am here now. Hopefully in the future Altcoin can be better than bitcoin :p

Yes i agree that bitcoin holds the no.1 position but there are still so many people who wants to invest in altcoins because in Alts people have so many choices of coins they want to invest which is more cheaper. Investing in bitcoin is too risky due its very expensive price.

As you said, all coins have different purposes, and we cannot judge their plan for helping people. But I don't think that the altcoin is better than bitcoin because bitcoin still leading the market and always step ahead than the other coins. And for me, the altcoin is like a tool that will help me to earn more bitcoin and with many of altcoin in the market, I have a big chance to make more and more bitcoin in the future.

For now. Altcoin still can't beat Bitcoin and the market of Altcoin still depends on Bitcoin market conditions. All coin have their respective use and value but btc has the most value price and use in the market simply because it has major role in the market by pairing with all alts and by converting to it and also the main coin to buy altcoins , but still kind of wondering if alts will not beat it's price in future.

I think yes without altcoin you can't earn btc or else you can buy some btc, tho btc is the center of all but for me altcoin is better you can earn money if you wanted to sell some alts, indeed both are really helpful.

Its obvious that altcoins is better than bitcoin and we have so many reasons to consider why i believe altcoins is good. Investing in bitcoin is focusing only in a single coin and once the market will drop we can't easily recover unlike in altcoins that we have many choices that we like to invest and aside from that altcoins is more cheaper than bitcoin and everyone can afford to buy.

I'm just using bitcoin to trade to altcoins. I guess I go for altcoin holdings right now rather than bitcoin. I believe alts will bring me weath, if I have bitcoin now I rather swap it to alts and hold it for a little bit longer until such time bull run is seen. Some alts are very promising and the price is just cheap and could bag as many as coins in your wallet. A little movement is huge in term of money because of its number compare to bitcoin that is very high price small movement could not affect your holdings.

No altcoins never compete with bitcoin because bitcoin is a leader of this market and it holds this position in future also. No altcoin is near the value of bitcoin and also not possible in future.
