I think they not lie, because they have the information from the official website of that project, so the ICO rating just repost it with different style but with the same information. So if that project is scam, who is wrong? I think this from the developers of that project.
There ia many website about ICO Rating which need to pay for listing at their website, and who don't loves money? I think everybody loves it. And unfortunately the website of ICO rating don't thinking the impact for their future, this will be make that website not trusted anymore.

Do not believe in anyone in the world of cryptocurrency because it will be very cruel. For example the Pump Group and Dump, if following their signal is not a profit obtained in a loss. Because we follow the signals they have played first. So when the signal is issued it is too late to buy. Inside the ICO should also be careful, do the analysis and research first before deciding to buy. Do not follow other people opinions if you have not understood.
-
ICO rating sites are mostly paid to review right now, so simply pay more and you will get more score. The only remaining legit way to check a project is by doing your own research as you said. ICO rating sites will not lie about the information but the overall review itself can be easily manipulated, so you can use ICO rating sites to collect some basic information about the project but never trust rating site overall review or KYC, do your own KYC through social media it is easy to spot fake un-legit accounts.
-
That's actually true, but not all the ico review site are lying some are telling the truth

What you say is a bit to extreme we still can give trust in crypto sphere but is only to selected people. You can say some ICO sites are lying to us because of some under table things but there are still legit one.
-
Yes your right some ICO review website are not that 100% accurate on their reviews and some of this reviews I think is paid by the projects that they reviewing. So that it's better to do your own research on the ICO that you will invest in so that you will know anything about this project and you can gain profit on it.
-
Of a truth is not all ICO site that lies . we still have genuine one that pay very well, We can as well use the ICO rating site to gather more information. Let keep on making more research.
-
You have to be more careful and careful when choosing ico so you don't get caught up in it, if it's true ico is lying to give you a web address or any information so we are more alert, or maybe the gift manager will change the rules in the middle of ico so that it is not in accordance with the agreement at the beginning ico
-
That is a heavy accusation but I understand where you are coming from. A lot of ICO review sites are paid but that does not mean they are lying. Besides there are also free ICO review sites. I agree still that the best practice is to do your own research.
-
I like this topic, for sure, you just have to learn how to trust no one, in cryptocuency world, anything can happen.
-
I think that they may not be outrightly lying but most ICO sites review are manipulated. Your best bet is to do your research whether you are a bounty hunter or investor.
-
I completely agree with you, all these ratings are bought all the time and thus promote scams ICO, everyone should understand this and make his own study of any project in which he will invest.
-
I agree. before joining ico you should know or study the project that you will invest. many things can be learned and researched before choosing the ico project.
-
Well, we are living in the crypto world, so anyone can be anonymus. Nobody have to prove anything, so everybody looks at their pocket to say something.
-
In this crypto world we can trust anyone. The best way to protect yourself from a scam is always do your own research. And yes you only need a lot of knowledge, enough experience, and a little luck. Don't follow people hype or opinions, so research the project yourself, check the team background, read their whitepaper, etc.
-
Attention !!! before joining ico, you must know or learn about the project you will invest. many things can be learned and researched before choosing the ico project.
-
Sometimes these ratings are paid so we have to do our own research always before invest as it is our money. Always study the whitepaper and check the team performance before making any decision.
-
Actually I also believed that ICO ratings are 80% fake and 20% real. There's a lot of rating project/site who just accepting a payment to give a good ratins.
-
I agree. ico rating can be manipulated. just by paying, the project will get a high rating. who is good for judging ico? all depends on market.
-
Just like the topic says, there is no need to trust any body, this is crypto and people can be dangerous.
-
Yea, things are getting complicated and all Crypto enthusiasts are getting more knowledge about it. Many ICO have fail us and this serve a lesson to us. But sincerely, no one can avoid it
-
very true.
however rating sites are just systems,
and that could be wrong,
and one of the best ways to find out which coins are potential is to do research first, and we have to do the research ourselves.
-
Everything seem real this days despite high level of research we carried out on these ICOs. The scam ICOs are doing everything possible to beat every bounty hunters plus investors especially through their well written white papers.
I personally advice every bounty participatants and investors to be extra vigilant and ask about the ICOs that you embarked on. If everyone join hand together, we may be able to identify genuine ICOs from the scam ones.
-
Exactly you are right about that issue. All ico rating websites are paid shillers. Maybe some of them trying to be more honest but also we can not trust these guys. Because this is our money and we earned that with very hard ways. So we need to do our research about projects and we shouldnt trust anybody about icos.
-
Today, no one can be trusted, especially in the world of cryptography. As they say - trust, but check. In all matters you need to carefully handle this because there are a lot of fraud.

Yes , I think We must be carreful to choose ICO, too many ICOs are scam. I agree we cant trust every one in crypto.
-
I think it's very important to spend a resonable amount of time reading the white paper and make some reflections about:
1) the project has a concrete plan to be successful?
2) team is well known? (always check in linkedin their profiles)
3) what has the project that competitors haven't?
I do not trust ICO reviews generally even if I use them to have a first approach to ICO but then I always take my time to do activity I wrote.
-
I think you trust the food you eat and the house you live in trust them enough not to hurt you . If you want to improve, you have to take the leap of faith and have to wholeheartedly accept the fact life is a garden full of beautiful rose blooms where the hurting thorns are hiding under the rose waiting for you.
-
Do you experienced unnecessary during your ICO investment?
I suggest share with us to have some warnings and guidelines to do the task better and more effective with less loses.
-
Obviously we can not trust on ICO rating sites as I believe it can be a manuplative ratings. One should always due diligence before investing or participating in any bounty.
-
Trust will depend on our own research ,in the crypto market which is highly volatile a particular thought about the market does not last long.
