Title: Posts on Airdrop & Bounty Section
Post by: Zed0X on November 06, 2018, 02:57:25 PM
I do not know if it is a bit late to ask or suggest but I think posts on Airdrop and Bounty sections should not be part of "Post Counts" similar to posts on the General Sections. I can't imagine having someone becoming a legendary in this forum whose only contribution is making weekly bounty reports.

Thoughts?

I understand the point you are trying to make here but this is not going to be a popular decision among bounty hunters if it will be implemented. There are maybe atleast 70% members here who are active bounty hunters.

Yeah this is quite unfair, we are replying to topics to contribute and also to rank up while bounty hunters keep ranking with no contribution, but @Zion03 is also correct this posts counts leads to the growth of the forum if bounty hunters not ranking up with their posts of weekly reports they might lose their motivation to continue their journey here.

I think its better to get no points (ALTS) when their posts is in the bounty, airdop sections

or

New settings must be applied in that sections hmm.... atleast "5 posts is equal to 1 post count."

at this time bounty hunters still have to be given credit points because it is still a post, regardless of only reporting, they have contributed to this forum and they also need an award for that

Your suggestions are also good and something that's worth considering.

I don't know. They already get rewards from the bounty they joined that are promoted on this forum. Do you think it is fair that some rank up because they contribute to the topics here while others rank up by just posting bounty reports?

I also don't agree with you. Bounty hunters are also important part of that forum. I don't see any sense to don't give them the possibility to rank up.

For me it is ok, it is like hitting two birds in one stone. You submit a report to gain stakes in a bounty while adding post counts to rank up.

I don't agree with your point. About 25% of those who contribute their thoughts to the forum through replies and creation of topics are also bounty hunters. I am one of such. So are you saying for people like me who both submit reports and also contribute through replies and subject matters should now start been set apart because we are bounty hunters? Does that sound fair to you? We should avoid creating segregation here as that would not help this forum.

To be fair enough bounty report is difficult task because there are so many efforts to do before posting the report links. Sometimes it takes time due to strict rules implemented by the manager with regards to submitting the report with proper format.
Admin disabled to count the fast post with few words.
I would rather suggest that there should have a certain counts for bounty report links to prevent nonsense legendary rank through reporting postings. Maybe 100 post or whatever the appropriate limitation.

I never said hunters are not important part of the forum. If ever my suggestion will be implemented, hunters always have the possibility to rank up by being active in the discussions.

I think you have completely missed the point of my post. Being a bounty hunter was never the issue (as I am also one). The point I am only raising is that weekly reports should not be part of Post Counts. Posts on boards other than General, Airdrop, and Bounty Sections by all forum users will count.

I am not sure if it is really difficult. I agree though that something has to be done to prevent nonsense legendary rank as you pointed out given that ranking up here is relatively easier.

Agreed with you and all your thoughts about it in progress of this tread. I'm also bounty hunter, but reports should not be full counted. Something like 5/1 as someone already said is more then good solution

Honestly, i think there should no long debates on this issue, rather i believed that this forum is relatively new and most suggestions and ideas may be considered in future to make the forum very strong.

This is still a forum so it is good to always have a discussion or debates. Any question on certain posts or comments should be welcomed.

I think that some kind of restriction in allocation of points for posts in bounty section is possible but no ranking up. Let them achieve these high ranks. This forum is still in early stage of development

For me, maybe if we posted in bounty/airdrop section is no problem. But it will be better if all bounty report use google form to handle spam post. I know that bounty manager is not same, but if Altcoinstalks create this rule maybe bounty manager will follow this rule :)
