Title: Do you think that other coins move faster?
Post by: emma.lee1890 on November 12, 2018, 07:51:15 PM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralized decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralization enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Not slow bitcoins but other coins are also weak, bitcoin is influential because other coins are weak in incoming investment may be out there people are using their money for vacation or purchase large quantities that make the world crypto quiet from investors. now the value of the invasion of bitcoin and altcoin is in a normal position I hope to finish the need beyond the investors again to invest the money in Bitcoin.

It still depends on the concept and idea of the project. Plenty of altcoins today gained exponential growth because of good marketing and investors jumping into it expecting a multiple return from their investment. However, altcoins still relying on Bitcoins and soon they will experience intense dip of price as well.

Other coins are trying but no matter how fast they run,the possibility of them over taking Bitcoin is on a scale of 1/100.
Bitcoin is almost mainstream and more popular , has more use cases, a huge potential and so not possible for other altcoins to over take it in the nearest future.

It basically depends on the hype, any new updates from the dev team etc. I believe eventually there will be coins/tokens that are developed to tackle one aspect of our society, one blockchain per problem faced by the human community. So depending on that certain cryptocurrencies will move faster than others. And sometimes the cryptocurrency will move faster than Bitcoins as well.

I think  in fact  whilst  I have  made  a  huge   amount  of  money  over  the  last  year  I  would  have  made  even  more  money  if  I  had  just  sat  on  my  initial  investment  of  bitcoin  and  done  nothing.

I don't agree with you that bitcoin become slow its a market sometime it rises sometime drops and sometime runs sideways in the present scenario I can say correction phase is over and market is running sideways it can spike anytime but I believe this time market will rise gradually not aggressively. Bitcoin is the king can take speed again anytime I somehow agree for altcoins movement as altcoins are cheaper and one can afford easily to buy altcoins so movement in some altcoin is more.

There's no such altcoins like bitcoin. Even it is gradual recovering from decline nothing can overthrow bitcoin from its domain as the king of cryptocurrencies. It is bitcoin the all time high in crypto history. No one knows maybe tomorrow there will have altcoins to be the all time high and the king of crypto.

I would not say that, because bitcoin demand is constantly growing and many investors prefer to choose investment in bitcoin than in altcoins, just judging by the news that are associated with bitcoin, bitcoin transactions are constantly growing and bitcoin will show what it is capable of.

other coins are faster than bitcoin because they are newly created and have worked on the limitations of Bitcoin. All recently created cryptocurrencies are faster than Bitcoin but that does not make them superior.

I think  when it will actually be launched it should be more secure, faster and be able to handle more transactions than anything we now know off. If/when the programmers can finish this, it could be the next ethereum or neo. Concept itself is quite revolutionary.

Other coins can never move faster than Bitcoin .
Maybe it will happen in the future but definitely not now.
Bitcoin is the boss of all other altcoins.

Other coins will move following Bitcoin, but due to their small value, they will always get bigger increase rate than Bitcoin

Yes, Bitcoin is now almost not developing. We are all promised his improvement, but so far nothing is happening. At the same time, there are now a lot of promising coins and tokens, which have long since bypassed Bitcoin in technical development. Bitcoin now rests on the remnants of its former popularity, but it can completely collapse in a few days.

In the event that the transaction is indeed Bitcoin is losing fast from altcoins.
Just look at the same Coin Dash that can send coins with just under 2 seconds using the Send Instans.

But Bitcoin is still the best because Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and no owner will be ANONYM.

I would not say that there are other coins that are able to move faster than bitcoin, because I think the demand for bitcoin continues to grow and many investors prefer to invest in bitcoin rather than altcoin, only seen from news related to bitcoin, bitcoin transactions continue to grow

I agree with you there are no alternatives coins faster than the bitcoin because all of alternatives coins follow the price of bitcoin, bitcoin is first digital coins in the world and alternatives coins is made to be more better of cryptocurrencies industry, unfortunatelly today the price of bitcoin is still down and it will gives bad effects on other alternatives coins, none alternatives coins is faster if the bitcoin is still down in the price.

Decentralization is a very good way to break established stereotypes, and I think the point is not that bitcoin is slow, but that investors are trying to find something new and promising in many altcoins, but sometimes they don’t work!

May be some of the coins can move independently but i think it's just a small percentage because mostly the if theres a bull market all coins are also gaining and when bear market all coins are also losing.

I dont think that there are other coins that can move faster than bitcoin because mostly the movement of altcoins are dependent on the movement bitcoin like what happen on the crypto market today were the altcoins are dropping too bad same with bitcoin.

It's the same thing with ordinary coins and it only follows the direction of Bitcoin.
All altcoins follow the price of Bitcoin.

I think one important turning point for the crypto space was the announcement that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would delay any announcement of a decision regarding the approval of a cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund (ETF) until the end of September.

other coins can move faster than bitcoin if the koon has a team that cares about the project they are working on, and other coins to be able to compete with bitcoin takes a long time
