I think there is no difference, the only thing there is that tokens are built on another coins blockchain, e.g. it Can be on Ethereum blockchain, waves blockchain, etc. While coin  have their own blockchain and explorers.

The  difference  is  that  when  a  project  is  handle  or  powered  by  a token  that  means  the  project  runs  on  a  supported block chain,  such  as  ethereum,  but  if  is  handle  by a coin it simply means that the project is developing  its  own  block chain, meaning   is  able  to  get  it's  own coin.  They  can be used  interchangeable,  don't  forget  that  they  fall  under  the  same category of cryptocurrency.

the difference between yoken and coin is very thin, because both can be sold buy on the market, but tokens usually lead to eth coins or others and still are both blockchain based

I feel that there is no difference between coin and tokens. I explain you will an example. MEW address, ETH address and myetherwallet address are one and the same but companies ask them in different names but all have same address.
