I loose almost 70% of my portfolio in terms of value but still I believe in the market it will bounce back. Has your efforts gives you the desired result as you expected. How did you motivate yourself to continue?

Am I gaining or loosing this year?
I gained and lost on some trades. Overall, my portfolio is around 30% down. I still feel good about it even after missing out selling at good prices since I also gained experience.

I think with what I have in my wallet I will say I have loose this year.

I could sell many tokens at a great price when the market was at its peak at the beginning of the year, but I didn’t, and now my portfolio has dropped in 10 times precisely, so yes, I lost a lot of money, but I still waiting and hoping.

Since we are at the bear market, almost anybody is losing. On my side, I am at the plus side, thanks to some ICO's and bounties which made a good peak.

Let us be honest and admit that the overwhelming majority of users of this forum have return to earn. i'm one in all them, currently I mix add bounty with the most work. I hope that within the future are going to be able to live off the bounty. Moreover, i'm curious about this business, it's attention-grabbing to induce new information within the method of obtaining conversant in new comes, developers and communication with attention-grabbing folks, that is enough during this forum.

I'm losing 40% I'm hoping that this coming year will be the best year for the cryptocurrency and I believe that 2019 will be the year for altcoins.

Firstly i gained like 5x in 5 months and after i lost it nearly 80 percentage . 3 days ago i was in my starting point. But after that last dump i think now i am loosing this year unfortunately. I believe next year will be more good than 2018 i hope. No need to feel sad.

The year has been very bad one for almost every trader and many lost all, some little and some nothing but life still goes on , I have find it difficult to trade this year as the bear has not really give that much confidence in trading but some little increase in some coin I had , just holding and hoping for best.

It's better to hold your money and save it in the bank, if the market goes up again then it's time to jump in again to buy Bitcoin.

when the crypto market was down like this it would be better if we hold the coin that we have until the price rises again. it's better than we sell it when the crypto market was down because it will make us get the bigger losses and also make the crypto market is getting down. we must be able to manage our crypto assets properly so that we can get the benefit from it.

Well the price of cryptocurrencies will goes up again in the future, the cryptocurrencies will not be died just because of the price goes down. I am sure about that so i continue investment in cryptocurrencies and always keeps going to learn more about the cryptocurrencies and any other related with it, although my portofolio of investment in cryptocurrencies goes down for this year because of the price of cryptocurrencies goes down but in long term investment the cryptocurrencies industry is going up.

personally, I keep holding the coins that I have until the crypto market recovers. I think if I sell crypto now, then I will get a bigger loss and we don't know how the crypto price will be in the future, maybe the price will go up again. therefore I chose to hold it back.

Almost every major coin has 10x potential right now, because they're that much down from their aths.

I am almost at the break even point. I does not know my effort in doing the bounty and etc will reap me good rewards next time but i am sure that if i am not doing anything i will not be getting anything at all which is my motivation to keep moving forward.

You are still better off than me i am losing almost 90% and i already have the thoughts of leaving crypto with my remaining 10%, i am quite sad that i spend time and effort in choosing the right ICO and through time i slowly build up my portfolio but who knows my portfolio is almost wipe out in last than a year time, the thing that keep me going is that i hope that at least i am able to regain back a bigger portion of my portfolio.

I'm losing my funds to my personal mistakes in trading but overall I gain enough experience that will give me confidence in dealing crypto. After-all no regrets as I can recover those losses in the coming months or next year when the market returns to a bullish trend.

I have been working with cryptocurrency related papers for quite some time. During this large period of time I realized that in a short time one should not expect great results. I earned my first money on cryptocurrency after two years of work. I think you should not panic and be patient.

I also lost a lot of my asset value, the effort that I produced in 2018 was not what I expected, unlike in 2017, in that year my business exceeded my expectations, and hopefully by 2019 my efforts can exceed what I hope again like 2017, hard work and diligence in work are the keys to success.

This is a new year so nothing lost or gained yet. Last year was not really a good year for me and many other people. I lost like 80% of my portfolio, most of the coins I'm holding now is because I don't have a choice, the prices dumped hard and I just have to hold till I get little profit.

Still getting losing till now. The market is in very bad condition, it is difficult to find out good way to gain profits. I will wait for the recovery of market to get profits. I think it will be a chance for gaining when the decline has been over.

We are still in the Q1 of 2019 and i am neither gaining nor losing now. I only lose when i sell off my valuable coins during this bearish market at cheap price. It is the same with me. I still earn although it is just a little amount. I am aware that we are still in bear market. If we are difficult to make money, it is no problem. However, as you said, this year is better than the previous year (2018).

I am also losing from previous year. Still I was not able to recover my funds from a 80% down. I'm still optimistic about cryptocurrency that somehow it could give good price for my patience and also my works. I'm still on gaining from previous and until now but honestly it's not really the same like what bounty / airdrop hunters get from new projects last year. It's like being lucky for me of getting more than $200 a month now(chance of getting that profit now is 40/60).

This year prices are stable and even we have some increase for some coins. At least I earned some money in the last 6 months. On the other hand, 2018 was a terrible year. I lost 55 percent of my investment. I and too many people need a real bull :)

Last year, losses were all incurred. When prices dropped from 70 to 95 percent, there was almost no chance for profit. Only experienced traders could make a profit.
This year the situation is gradually changing, but the profit is still very small.

It is true. If someone has bought some coins in the early of this year, he should already gain profits for now. Crypto coins/tokens are growing well, their values moved at higher prices. I am sure that there are many people are experiencing this.

There have been moment of loss and there have been moment of profit but if i may put it over all then i will say i am at profit atleast for now. Crypto has not been bad this year for those that are smart enough because there have been so much opportunity in the sphere this year.

Every investor or trader who bought the dip during the long standing bear market of 2018 is expected to be gaining about 70% or more profit by now unless they bought shit coins. 2019 has seen incredible spikes in the prices of most of the valuable coins especially the large cap coins on the market. And from the set pace, it appears there are more increase ahead, hence there are still chances to buy and join the train of profit making.

I think I've gotten a lot this year in trading, because now the price of bitcoin is also starting to increase, so I think this year is also a good start for krypto price increases.
