I think bitcoin is recovering slowly now, I boubt Bitcoin will rise in 2017.
I want to do day trading.
I should Trading with Bitcoin or Altcoin, Which more profitable ??

Bitcoin and altcoins are both decreasing price and because many people as of now are pnic selling their coins because of the news that the crypto are bad investment. But if you want to gain more profit much better if you invest your money to altcoin because they hve possibility once bitcoin decreasing deep the altcoins probably will increase and thag's good to us. But better if the both coin increasing again because we know most of the altcoin are base to bitcoin price and once the price of fhe bitcoin decrease some of them are decreasing not all coin but they are affected too. For sure if the bitcoin die it taked few months before the altcoin recover because some of them are die also and become very cheap price..

Neither Bitcoin nor altcoins are safe, at least when compared to the other forms of investment. They are extremely risky assets to make investment, and you should be ready for a scenario where your entire capital can vanish. And regarding profitability, I'd go with BTC. Because a lot of altcoins are being created by fraudsters these days.

if I prefer Bitcoin because the coin is stronger and for the current price it is more stable compared to Altcoin and has a lot of interest in the crypto currency market

Why not trade with both?
I think Bitcoin will be suitable for long-term trading, but for today's trading, this is definitely a better altcoin.

I personally prefer do day trading with altcoin, like ripple and NEO. It is very profitable than hold bitcoin now. I see bitcoin is struggling now.

If you have a large funds for trading it's good to trade bitcoin but altcoins are really more profitable also. You just need to find some good altcoin then you will get some good return from it even in a day.

Trading with bitcoin is profitable in long run but in these types of bear market conditions, altcoin trading is more profitable then bitcoin trading but require some knowledge to do trading.

both have advantages but I prefer trading in bitcoin than in altcoin.

Both can be profitable if you know what you're doing. And if you don't, obviously, both can lead to losses.

Just one day after this was posted and Bitcoin and most altcoins crashed.
To answer whether BTC or Alts for day trading, I say ALTS. Just look for the one with volume.
