It occurred to my mind that most scammed ICOs who has collect millions of dollars probably on Ethereum, Bitcoin or other altcoins from participants are heavy dumpers. Come to think of this, the money collected by these scammed ICOs, if converted back to crypto will heavily affect the prices of Bitcoin, ethereum, and other altcoins used to raise money for the scammed projects. What do you think?

I think it is true. Scammers want to get money, so if they see there is good price they will sell out amd make the price down :)

That could be true since they've already gained profit so they can sell it at whatever price they want.
That made me also think of those failed projects who delays refund to investors. Let's say for example they collected 1000 ETH and told investors that they'll return their investment after 1 month, they could actually sell all at $200 and just buy back at $175.

Not everything is like that. Even though there were some who did scams, there were still many who succeeded. For now ICO is not the right choice to invest. Prices will drop dramatically for a moment listing on the market exchange.

Even fraud with ICO projects is just a transition of cryptocurrency from one hand to another. Nothing will change. They will also keep the cryptocurrency or sell it depending on the benefits, like all others.

That is not far from happening. It's an easy profit so cashing out at any price is not a bad thing for them. They could not really care about the state of the market.

They can be label as dumpers however we cannot rule of the possibility that they are also crypto believers, they might be holding partial of what they have scam from other crypto users. In actual fact we cannot blame dumpers without knowing the reasons of why they dump what they have.

Maybe, because they got a big mount of ETH, so they could sell and get a big money from these ETH without care about its price

I never thought about that. And I think you are absolutely right. But unfortunately with the fraudsters is difficult to fight. Therefore, we can not do anything (.

Yes I agree with you that is the tactics of scammers. Thats the reason why the market becomes low because of the dumpers.

I think you're right, if they don't care about their project and people who invested ico they might do that they wanted big money in easy way so they're really a scammer. But sometimes not at all do that the project has an evil side only can do that.

I don't know to identify if ICOs scammers are dumpers. Since there are no proofs we can not blame them. The dumpers can be from whales. Most people said the dumpers are whales because they have most coins on market. By the way, do you have a proof?

I believe the scammers are dumpers, what scammers want is money from the naive audience so once they got what they want they want they will just leave with what they have.

I think it's true, because they get a lot of ethereum from investors and then make a withdrawal to the exchanger and sell it. imagine if there were 10+ scammers with at least 1,000 ethereum assets, even worse if they sell it together

Indeed, if a scammer is one who throws coins that make prices go down, they get coins by stealing them from investors, and they commit this crime for their personal interests, after they get the results of their fraud, surely the results will be dumped on market.
