Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 10 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ?? Huh
and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly"
-
Because bitcoin can use for scams and government dont want to blame like that so they not recomend bitcoin to people.
-
It doesn't matter the number of years that governments reject bitcoin. the most important thing is that is it valuable ? Iif it is, governments would have a rethink later and accept it. But now, the most important question is whether it will be the technology they've been looking for.
-
States can only allow the circulation of bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrency on their territory, as well as establish rules for their circulation, but they will never actively support them. Today, many states have legalized cryptocurrency in this way. However, governments and their authorities are unlikely to use cryptocurrency as a means of payment. For this purpose, they create their digitalized central bank currencies.

You need to learn how to use the Google search engine. Currently, Bitcoin is fully legal in more than 100 countries around the world. And every year this number will increase even more.
-
Even though a decade has passed, many countries still do not legalize bitcoin. In some countries, there is no clear regulation for the use of bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, which leave their citizens in confusion.

Yes, I also agree that for now the majority of countries have legalized bitcoin even though there are several countries that have not legalized it because the country's government policies still think Bitcoin is one of the tools used for crime.

do not believe too much in the analysis of people who are famous for what their opinions are, most famous people only do analysis that cannot be used as a guide at all, they only seek to take advantage of the fame they have just to make something that cannot be a guide to hold on to, forget they just believe what you feel is right and do with your own analysis.

~ in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly"
Warren Buffet is a Bitcoin hater, so we cannot believe in him. He just tried to spread FUDs to make us afraid to hold Bitcoin. While in the fact, Bitcoin is getting more popular and more familiar to the people. It is so doubtful if Buffet stated that Bitcoin will end badly, there is no proof that can support Buffet's statement.

Bitcoin was launched not in 2007, but in January 2009 and was first legalized by Japan in April 2017. Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies are now legalized in most countries. The problem so far is that bitcoin is still poorly used as a means of payment, many altcoins in this matter have achieved much more success, having fast and cheap transactions.
-
Warren Buffet is just creating a FUD for us cryptocurrency lovers and that's just the people we hate.
I also don't deny that Warren Buffet is the richest person in the world but if he is talking about Bitcoin then don't say it easily like that because it dictates a strong community since 2009.
Sorry to confide in this as this is how I feel about Warren Buffet's statement.
-
Maybe not, but I think I will. Someday, bitcoin will be seen as a very profitable and attractive investment. So that the government will be interested too. It takes a long process. At this time I also see that many bounty projects are starting to be copied and implemented in the real world. This may indicate that the government is actually getting interested.
-
India a big populated country already permits bitcoin as their central reserve banking system. Most of the developed countries allow bitcoin as their transaction system.
-
Most importantly the people has to accept it. Govt has no power whether they want to approve it or not.
It's decentralised.
BTC will eventually become the number 1 reserve currency. We can't give too much power to USD.
-
I think there have been many countries that recognize bitcoin as a means of payment that can be used even though there are those that allow it but not and have not recognized it as a legal means of payment, but do not prohibit exchanging it for local fiat money so that it can finally be used.
-
Because bitcoin can use for scams and government dont want to blame like that so they not recomend bitcoin to people.
Absolutely i agree with you. If any scammer scame with others then there is no identification is found. So it is the great problem for the government of any country.
-
Every country in the world will be forced to declare Bitcoin as a universal currency. Because Bitcoin is a popular currency and Bitcoin transactions have already started all over the world. There is a lot of speculation about bitcoin transactions in different countries of the world. And research is underway on how it could play a role in the economy. But I think Bitcoin will be traded in the coming days, it will be official.

Bitcoin is the future technology, maybe there is several countries against bitcoin , I think It is normal. Because they worry with their fiat money. Bitcoin will have great future. So, no matter about the past, about negative issue. Bitcoin will grow up and more popular at the coming future. Let's see.
-
It looks like you are getting the wrong information, because in fact many countries have legalized Bitcoin as a means of payment. Indeed, currently there are still many countries that prohibit the use of Bitcoin, but I am optimistic that over time all countries will legalize Bitcoin.
-
A lot of countries disapprove of Bitcoin and cryptos in general, unfortunately. India is gearing up to ban cryptos right now. (https://theforexreview.com/2020/09/21/inida-a-nation-wide-crypto-trading-ban-currently-pending/) And they may not be the last. :(
-
You may not need to worry about this because now, many countries have legalized bitcoin as digital assets and also payment methods. The world has been changing, mate. BTC and other cryptocurrencies are accepted in many more countries. You should believe that something worthy will need more time to develop and survive.

No problem guys, no countries directly accept bitcoin but they indirectly use bitcoin in many sectors, Amazon, Microsoft directly use bitcoin.
-
I read this thread and it seems a very long thread. But, it emerges again. I am sure that the OP is happy now if he is still active in the crypto world.. Because now, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have been accepted in many more countries.
-
Although Bitcoin is now almost 10 years old, many countries still do not have explicit systems that restrict, regulate, or ban the cryptocurrency. The decentralized and anonymous nature of Bitcoin has challenged many governments on how to allow legal use while preventing criminal transactions. Many countries are still analyzing ways to regulate the cryptocurrency. Overall, Bitcoin remains in a legal gray area for much of the world.
-
It looks like you are getting the wrong information, because in fact many countries have legalized Bitcoin as a means of payment.
Btw which countries legalize bitcoin as a means of payment?
-
Many countries still see BTC as a threat to the fiat & national economy, some countries still cannot decide whether BTC is money or commodity :)
Although BTC is not officially recognized, many countries start to tax on income from the crypto sector, many countries allow crypto mining or advertising, and if acceptance is approved then BTC will be 1 of the first cryptocurrencies. Stable coins are forever not a substitute for crypto or BTC.
-
You are wrong, BTC has been accepted in some countries. Like in my country, BTC is accepted as a digital asset. In this case, the development of the BTC may influence how the volume. And now, supply and demand really hard to find and solve the problem
-
Are you trying to spread FUDs? If you are not blind, I think you must read about many information realted to good Bitcoin adoption among the countries in the world. There are already many countries to accept Bitcoin, boy. You should wake up and see the reality, even in US we have many BTC ATMs already.
-
very ridiculous if not many people accept bitcoin and many countries prohibit the use of bitcoin then how can bitcoin have this expensive price.
-
If you look at the global market, you will notice that Bitcoin is the best currency. This currency is a popular currency worldwide and it is possible to transact currency in any 10 seconds. Transition does not require a lot of money. But Bitcoin Cash does not require time to transact any amount. It is possible to make transactions from traditional banks. So you will have a world record after ten years will be delivered a coin as the greatest coin. So everyone is a fan of this currency. I also do bitcoin transactions.
-
Most countries fear the immense power of bitcoin and what it could actually become in the wrong hands if they finally give total approval to its use and adoption. Also, the corporate organisations and big financial players fee it could actually replace fiat and thus, pull down the power they hold. Even with the major advantages of bitcoin, many continue to fight against its total adoption.
-
I think many countries have accepted the use of bitcoin.
-
Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 10 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ?? Huh
and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly"
Well I'm afraid warren buffet was wrong. And anyway I think it's not 2007 but 2009. May I see the link for further reading and information?
-
Already 10 years past and still we can see Bitcoin dominate the world of crypto. Of course bounty campaigns are present that gives the community another opportunity to earn extra tokens. More countries already adopt crypto even at this days. I think Warren Buffet was wrong to his prediction.
-
Indeed, bitcoin and crypto have been around for a long time without any support from the government. But things are also going well. So in my opinion this is not a barrier. Because crypto and bitcoin can still exist without even support.
-
I think countries will accept bitcoin and cryptocurrency very soon, the main thing is to build an honest and adequate regulatory mechanism! The advantage of crypto is obvious to everyone!
-
There are a lot of countries out there that have embraced cryptos in general and Bitcoin specifically. Korea has straight up legalized it and is taxing the trade, (https://theforexreview.com/2020/07/22/south-korea-reaches-cryptocurrency-earning-taxation-agreement/) like every other legal trade. Japan allows crypto payments for everyday items.
-
Embrace the truth Bitcoin will definitely lead the digital economic world not now maybe soon. As the days passing by Bitcoin is going forward from point to point country to people. The ability of Bitcoin to become the powerful coin in cryptocurrency history is undeniable. The adoption is unstoppable even though some restrictions were implemented. The days of Bitcoin is not yet done. There are more possibilities to happen. The bright future is ahead of us.
-
I like Warren Buffet, he's really exceptional but I don't think knows better in crypto.
-
Now Bitcoin is getting accepted in many countries around the world. I don't think we need to worry so much about it, Bitcoin adoption is always growing although it is not really fast. I believe that pandemic makes people aware of the importance of digital investment like Bitcoin. Many people should consider Bitcoin investment as it is much easy than forex and all people can join it, whether young or old ones.
-
You must be happy because right now, cryptocurrency is accepted in many countries. The law about crypto is clear enough. however, it doesn't mean that crypto will always be supported here. However, I mostly believe that there will be many more countries legalize BTC and cryptocurrency
-
Bitcoin becomes familiar as a digital asset, so people are starting to accept it as a part of their life. Never state that Bitcoin isn't approved by countries in the world as many countries have tried to adopt Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a bright future and many parties are already involved in it.
-

When you posted then bitcoin acceptance only few countries but today bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies are globally recognised and accepted. China, Australia, India, Canada, USA and Estonia are cryptocurrency friendly countries.
-
It has started to appear after the emergence of several stable coins, the government has started to look at bitcoin. And I think this is a tremendous advance. Maybe soon this bitcoin will be legal and official soon.
