Any coin that is being sold at a cheap price and at a significant volume is by crypto-definition being dumped.

Quote
The Bitcoin price is no longer increasing
The market seems to be recovering after the dumping a few days ago. I also hope that it breaks $6K level soon.

In my opinion, i think that bitcoin may be experiencing a dumping scenario because a low demand and higher supply as the case may be, could cause people dumping their coins due to price frustration.

bitcoin I am sure it will increase in price again because bitcoin is a very long coin and has a strong and widely traded market so I'm sure this is just waiting for the right moment to release bitcoin to the moon

I don't see bitcoin being dumped I would say panic selling is happening right now because of hard dropping market. You well said nobody exactly knows when bitcoin will rise back. Still lots of hope from bitcoin we all have. I would say in the present market we need more buyers to push up bitcoin again. When demand of btc will increase market will pump up again.

Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Mike McGlone believes that the cryptocurrency market may continue its downward trend, and the price of bitcoin could fall to $ 1,500.

McGlone stressed that the Bitcoin Cash’ pump before the hardfork destabilized the market situation and was one of the reasons for the collapse last week.

He added that a negative signal was also the financial report of Nvidia, in which the company disclosed the volume of excess products and gave a weak forecast for sales in the fourth quarter.

Over the past day the average rate of Bitcoin sank by 3% and dropped below $ 5,500.

Recently, more often I hear the opinion of traders that it is now better to switch from Bitcoin to USDT or other coins pegged to the dollar and wait for the moment when Bitcoin drops to $3000- $3500 and then buy it. But these steps provoke a greater decline in the market and an increase in panic. I prefer to keep the cryptocurrency and wait for the whales to make Bitcoin purchases at low prices from those who are now selling, after which the prices will go up again.

In my opinion, i think Bitcoin is being dump. with the recent price collapsed, i think there are few people ( whales) that could influence the price, because the price slumped was tool heavy, from $6450 to $5545 within 24hours, is so deep.

Even bitcoin touch down the dump value at $1500 still the end is not yet to come. If there is the end there will have the beginning from its end. Being optimistic is a positive approach to deal bearish time.

I  think  bitcoin  Pump and Dump schemes comprise of two groups of people. The first group is players who play by artificially increasing the price of the Bitcoin by endorsing or promoting it.

A low demand and a high supply at this point is leading to dumping of bitcoin. Somehow, this is caused by panicking, selling out of fear that everything will be lost. I have only been seeing this as price correction of bitcoin, and its almost completed, despite it has taken this long to complete.

I don't see that bitcoin is being thrown away. however, panic is happening now because the market has dropped dramatically. And you well say no one knows exactly when bitcoin will rise again. I think there are still many hopes of bitcoin that we all have. And I will say that on the market today we really need more buyers to push bitcoin again. When requesting bitcoin, it will increase the market and will pump again.

Actually, neither the trend goes up or down we always think of the whales controller of the price. Most probably they manipulate the market motion to reach whatever their perspectives.

Yes I think it is being dump and may be this is the reason why the price of bitcoin is dropping too bad including some altcoins because they are both affected of the movement of bitcoin since almost all the time they are dependent on bitcoin.

All of these also have reasons for this, including from altcoins and Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin is developed to continue to exist in the world of aini and altcoins it is also an alternative when the price of Bitcoin becomes a Dump.

In my view, I do really think that Bitcoin is really dumped so hard at this bearish market if you compare its price from
December 2017 but all of this events are natural on the cryptocurrency world because of the volatility nature of every
cryptocurrency.

Agree. It was being dumped, and it seems to continue till the end of December. It is surprising to see the bloody market right now whereas on October some predictions stated the bull run will happen in the end of 2018. Bitcoin may rise again in the next year.

I read somewhere that the present market downtrend could be attibuted to price manipulation by some cartels.
It's possible that some cartels are manipulating the price of Bitcoin so they can accumulate as much as they want at a low rate.

I don't know what happened with bitcoin and altcoins prices. If whales or a group of people that have big volume of crypto currencies are conspiring to reduce prices, I think it is possible. But I am surprised with the fact that the prices have decreased too severe.

Bitcoin is currently not in good condition and the price is still not good. On the other hand we can make crypto purchases. Because at this time the crypto price drops, especially Bitcoin, the price tends to be low too. This encourages us also to hold Hold. Because in both ways that is the best way to stay in crypto, especially Bitcoin so that later you will get a big profit from Bitcoin.

I do not doubt that the fall in prices for all cryptocurrencies is connected with manipulations in the crypto market in order to lower prices and buy cryptocurrencies from those who in a panic will sell it cheaply. Manipulations are easily carried out by those who have large amounts of Bitcoin and dollars because Bitcoin capitalization is still quite low. With Bitcoin capitalizing over $1 trillion, its price will be harder to manipulate.

Yes, bitcoin is being dumped due to its decline in its price. People started dumping their coins, as the bitcoin price started fluctuating.

From the updated bitcoin price prediction by CoinSwitch (https://seo spamnews/bitcoin-price-prediction-2019-btc-price-to-touch-23500-in-2019), the price of Bitcoin will surge and will reach around $23500 in 2019, even after the recent decline in the price. This updated bitcoin price prediction from different market experts will give the crypto enthusiasts a clear idea about the crypto market and its price fluctuations.

This is only prediction. The recent situation is worst compared to last 12 months. But this dumping situation is temporarily and Bitcoin will be bounced back again.

I belive that pump and dump scam is the illegal act of an investor or group of investors promoting a stock they hold and selling once the stock price has risen following the surge in interest as a result of the endorsement.Pump and dump scams tend to only work on small and micro-cap stocks that are traded over the counter.

Bitcoin is not being thrown away. But Bitcoin is struggling to stabilize prices well. Because in the future Bitcoin will become a quality coin and also a good coin and the potential to get a big profit in it. Therefore Bitcoin is currently chosen and not discarded.

Every dump of bitcoin we always accused the whales that we even don't really know if they are the reason of this bear. Whales always the object (person) to be blame when the market down which is not right. To be fair enough let us appreciate them when the market pump.

I think when the coins hit the price, you desire you can sell your coins. Some people tend to panic sell and end up dumping their coins for purchase returning the price of the coins to average. The most important step is to distinguish a coin that is being primed for a dump from one that is being primed for a pump.

I am not surprised to see Bitcoin fall during this time. A lot of factors have contributed to this decline in price and value of Bitcoin on the market.
To begin with, we are all aware that every crypto bull market is definitely followed by a correction phase - this is where investors begin to sell during the peak of the bull in order to make profits from their investments. With this, the market will see a dip in price and value. After the correction phase, the market is suppose to seemingly stabilize while the withdrawal and the deposit appears almost balance. This is the phase where investors and crypto users need to work hard in order to attract new investors into the seen in order to spike up the market again.
This year was different. The market remained dormant for so long with the withdrawal surpassing the deposit. As this continued, there was an obvious sell offs arising from panic because most investors anticipated for a bull market during the last Q4 of the year (which appeared not happening).

While arguably it is being dumped, potentially by earlier investors from 2017 or 2016, this is overall healthy for the distribution of Bitcoins. As now, large amounts of BTC appear to be sold over OTC to large investors, those who are wanting to invest long-term, rather than short-term speculation.

This will be more sustainable for the price in the future, but it looks like there are still investors to cash in still, let's hope new investors can keep up with demand!

I believe that the market is behind Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency market shows that people are ready to deal with Bitcoin.  Everyone has their own reasons for this. But the most important thing behind Bitcoin is the blockchain.  It is the blockchain technology that provides cryptocurrency market functioning.
