Title: Airdrop Alert!
Post by: PRIBO247 on November 19, 2018, 03:06:30 PM
Scammers this days use fake airdrop email or information to try and get your wallet details. For you to avoid being a victim, you need to only register or participate in airdrops only in well known sites. Also try and read through the form before filling it. If anything does not look right to you, just leave that site immediately.

Most experienced airdrop hunters can easily spot a scam or a fishy airdrop campaign. Sadly, a lot of newbies easily fall for these fraudulent campaigns. OP already mentioned some good tips to avoid getting scammed, I just want to add some.

Make sure to double check if it is legit. Better bookmark the website of these legit airdrop platforms.

Avoid any airdrop that asks for your private key or ask you to log in to your personal wallet.

If you can, try to report also suspicious airdrops you receive in your emails like "Etherdelta airdrop; Rebellious airdrop; EOS airdrop" so they could be taken down as soon as possible.

I agree with this airdrop should be alert because as this moment the prices will very dumped into the market and the hunters worried to join because of small allocation in airdrops.

I am not sure about others but protonmail allows users to report received emails as phishing.
I know google forms can be reported but I have not tried reporting one yet.
