Bitcoin is indeed a digital currency. But Bitcoin could be a very valuable world reserve currency and a reliable currency. I think crypto in the future will be able to advance and develop in the future because there is a lot of support that will appear to be able to make Bitcoin the real digital currency.

It is usual in my opinion as a result of when cryptocurrency was blown to plug value, World Health Organization did the blow can sell their coins and left market @$@$#. However, it's not the top and cryptocurrency are still alive, we'll have another plug of cryptocurrency however it'll not happen in next year. Cryptocurrency now could be appropriate for long run holding.

I believe it's a possibility with more development and rebranding of the blockchain technology to improve on it's key technology.
Bitcoin could become the world's reserve currency in the nearest future all things been equal.

With time bitcoin and blockchain have made the market very stable and it is good for business transactions which were difficult and time consuming in the past now it is very easy for every one to pay online with in seconds and if you are used to investment many of new crypto are in the market with a high KYC value so it is the world reserve currency that when there is a shortage of money in fiat with you you can use this as well for your need.

The world reserve currency is a currency held in large amounts by the government and includes a part of foreign exchange. and since the 20th century the USD has been established as the strongest reserve currency. and in my opinion bitcoin will not be able to replace the position of the dollar. because even though bitcoin is now popular and many know it, there are still many countries that reject bitcoin. whereas to become a world reserve currency must be approved by other communities and countries and also decentralized bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not be a substitute for currency but can be an alternative payment. Whatever happens the currency will always be the main thing in the transaction, trade and legal payment instruments.

These days nothing is impossible, and in my opinion, Bitcoin may come to that level of been the reserve of many countries but may not be the reserve of the entire world. Take for instance, Venezuela, many people there are converting their money to crypto because of high inflation and very week currency that has no purchasing power.
In addition, if the trend continues this way, ie where citizens of countries will loose confidence in their currency, it could be rigth to say that digital currency might take the strong hold (reserves) than national fiats. Many nations has made the US dallars as a reserve, but what if Dallar falls? I think that the coming of crypto and the blockchain might be the next reserves, probably in the future.
