There are different types of professions in the world today, lawyers, doctors, engineers, bankers e.t.c its all about being good at what you do. My curiosity is about Crypto. Many of us engage either in trading/investing. Some are into it full time while others are not. So can it be numbered as a profession?
-
Well, I think it's possible only after a great crypto research and huge knowledge and trading skills.
Mostly it's possible for forex traders I guess.
-
The rest of my friends are full time for cyrptocurrency.
Starting from trading Bitcoin with altcoins and participating in the ICO.
Because everything in this world also won't be far from trading.
-

Well, I think is has not been fully certify as a profession but it will needed as cryptocurrency becomes widely accepted.
Now if we consider Foreign Exchange (Forex Exchange) in developed states, you will see that their are traders that are employed in some Banks to handle their FX and they earn even more than those bankers to say.
In the crypto world there before an exchange is developed, the team must have a professional trader that understands the basis of trading.
In all I am saying offcourse you can consider Trading as a profession.
-
It is not that different from normal trading. It is also a market, similar to stocks and etc. And i didn't hear a profession like stocks trader or fiat trader kinds of way. There is only one profession and it contains all which is trader or pro-trader.
-

Yes, if you are good in crypto trading i believe this crypto profession can work like stock or any other investment trading where you manage your client portfolio.
-
Why it cannot be a profession? If you are good in it you can promote this skill as day trading with a monthly subscription fee, and really be a trader that trade crypto.
-
There are many professionals that work in the crypto space if that's what you mean; traders, analysis, investors, reporters, researchers, developers, support teams, marketing. Many of the pro's are the "OG's" that have been involved in cryptocurrency for years, this is the main way being gain their titles.
-
Yes crypto trading can be considered a profession full time if you are a skilled trader you can have very good profits because this market is very volatile.
-

I think it can be possible as the profession, because as long it as our main job it can called as profession, but this is just in my mind, I don't know how about other people say, And if you wanna learn more about trading, just do it and focus on it, I believe it can be profitable for you and you can make it as your main job.
But, become trader isn't easy, this need really more experience and knowledge because trading can be danger for you, because trading isn't sure science, we never know how the market tomorrow even in one hour later, but make sure I believe if you can do it.
-
If the work of a trader on the stock exchange will bring a constant significant profit and you will accumulate knowledge and experience in this type of activity and devote your regular time to this occupation, then of course this can be considered a profession. However, officially, most likely, it can be called a profession after the legalization of cryptocurrency by the states.
-
Why not? It has been a profession of many way before cryptocurrency was even born. Being a professional trader is not just limited to crypto. There are also those who are into Forex and Stock Market.
-
Crytpo trading is close to Forex trading if someone really good at it, he can take it as a full-time job. Professional traders are always good with Bankroll management, so they will really not face what us normal traders face, for example, in a lot of situation we will find ourselves trapped in a coin and simply can't get out, but professionals will most likely not have this kind of problems we have, they will always make sure that they have enough liquidity to back themselves up in bad times like this.
-
Of course, cryptocurrency is a special area of earnings, and many people earn good money from it. They do not need to go to work, because they have experience in the field of trade, I'm one of them, and I try to invest in promising projects. Here is an example of #swachhcoin. The project will pay people for their trash. At the moment, the bonus is 25%, you can buy coins by the end of October. I advise you to see the project.
-
a job to become a profession needs recognition from many communities and at a minimum they must know it well, the next step is usually a profession requires certification to be valid and recognition of these activities
-
For some people it is a profession. They invest everything and wait foe better times.
but for me it's different. I want my job to give me the income each month. And don't want to have bread and water waiting for better days.
You have to be wise enough if you decide to have a deal with crypto world and you need to have an additional income.
-
Profession is all about dedicating your time to what you are doing to master every aspect as much as possible. Crypto doing is a form of profession once you give more time in analysing and searching about cryptos and crypto cycles.
-
Yes in my own opinion it can be considered. Trading is not a common knowledge. It requires skills, experience and learning which others cannot do that.
-
Every aim of becoming a professional is doing what you like best and earning from it. Crypto trading has not (except now) been certified to be a profession. One can take it as a full time job as earlier said, but it does not have any certificate behind it for now.
-
Because to be able to be part of Crypto doesn't need plenty of your time and doesn't have a point in time, or is done at any time. so this technology is incredibly validatory for those who need to form more cash. additionally, the massive chance in Crypto conjointly opened a niche for those who don't have jobs to be able to be part of Crypto. Crypto is additionally appropriate to be used as a long-run investment land. while not the requirement to try and do several things, cash will still grow following the flow of bitcoin.
-
being a trader can make us get a big profit. if the results are big then I think it's worth to keeping and making the bigger profits. but we have to be careful with the crypto market that is not stable, because if we cannot deal it well then we will get a loss.
-
I am yet to see a person getting hired by a company to engage in cryptocurrency trading but the possibility is always there. It already happened on Forex/Stocks so it can also happen on Crypto.
-
I think that's okay. if we get the big profits, why not? we can do it full time so we are more focused and can get the big profits from it. it will be more profitable if we can use it well.
-
I think is has not been fully certify as a profession but it will needed as cryptocurrency becomes widely accepted.

I couldn't help but laugh at the bread and water reference. Yes it is wise to have other source of income to help balance things because, there are times that your crypto trade might not generate an income.
-
Yes in my own opinion it can be considered. Trading is not a common knowledge. It requires skills, experience and learning which others cannot do that.
When you put it that way, I can't help but agree with you. Trading is a skill and to have this skill requires effort and diligence.
-

What a wonderful idea! A school for learning crypto trading online. If only a developer or someone can key in and run with it. It could be really huge!
-
I think that depends on people who argue with Crypto. Maybe if I personally think that Trading is a good job and earns money. For me, making money and profits can be called a profession, because that is so. That's in my personal opinion about this.
-
I think Crypto trading can be considered as a profession because traders are giving a lot of time to their trade to be successful. And many traders not only in crypto are being passionate about being a professional trader.
-
so many successful traders that get the big profits. it all depends on how we do the trading itself. if we can do it properly then we will also get the big profits. we can make it as a profitable job.
-
I think that it is possible if you have a lot of experience and you are a professional in this business.
and trading brings you a steady income
-
Yes it can be considered as a profession. I started cryptos as a bounty hunter but slowly slowly I learn the trading basics and fundamentals and keep improving my trading skill set. Its a good market to choose as a profession.
-
Yes! of course Trading is like a job also you need to be focus in order to maximized the potential to grow your profit. Professional Cryptocurrency trader was one of the stressful kind of job so it must be consider a profession.
-
it depends on how you consider the crypto industry because this industry is still very new and needs development in the future but I think it will become a profession for many people in the future so you enter in the right time to learn to trade properly
-
I think it would be very possible if the Crypto trade was considered a profession, because crypto trading was also very profitable.
-
as long as we see forex trading as a profession, same can be applied to crypto trading. it is a professional business. you should ply with caution. everyone knows how hard it can hit especially when you get burnt.
-
Crypto trading is a profession because when you have become an expert in trading and can correct prices correctly, you will get profit.
the price of crypto coins is unpredictable but many people choose to trade to benefit from crypto
-
Most of people is dealing with stock exchange with their own profession. So crypto trading is the same thing with stocks.
I don't think we can call it is proffession. But some people live their life with crypto revenue. It is complicated, in fact.
-
I myself also believe that with the krypto trade you can also add skills every day and also make a profit, so for me, trading with krypto is also a great way to make a profit.
-

Crypto is a profession to me... Apart from the fact that it provides money and opportunities for me, I also learn and always involve myself in different areas in Crypto. People are getting paid by themselves on a weekly and monthly basis especially by trading and investing
-

It is actually a profession especially when a person is really good at trading because crypto trading consumes a
lot of time and effort to be mastered and there a lot of professional traders in this industry just like on stocks
market.
-
That could be, but many people are still stuck with the traditional job profession even though the potential of crypto trading and other digital businesses is very promising.
-
For now, It cannot be seen as a full-time job because the market is not mature. But I am sure in the near future it will be considered so.
-
I think if you have skills in trading and can get results of course it can be a profession, but if not then it will be a risk by making it a profession.
-
Cryptotrading is one of the most successful areas for earnings. Especially if you approach this wisely. Personally, I now also want to learn how to trade, as soon as there is an opportunity over time.
-
I think that this is possible, because many traders who have already been engaged in trading for decades and not have a job and receive a lot of money due to trading do not need to have official job, so if to think logically, then trading can be considered as a profession.
-
Yes, trading can be a major profession as long as we are serious about learning and doing it because nothing is instant and all of that requires a long process.
-

Many of us engage either in trading/investing. Some are into it full time while others are not. So can it be numbered as a profession?
Well I must say yes, being a full-time trader requires a huge knowledge in trading and on the market. You can't learn that in a few days, that requires 2-3 years and maybe more.
-
Choosing crypto as a profession is a personal choice one can but before then the would have acquired some certain level of degrees in crypto knowledge to broaden his skills in trading cryptocurrency. I think is a choice since I'd a tool to increase your life earning, but some people consider it as part time Trading job or profession.
-
Of course it can be treated as a profession, but for me it's rather half-time job, than a regular, everyday way to earn money.
-
I think it can be called a profession. There are many people who already work on trading and it is popular nowadays. Trading in crypto looks good to take profits. But I advise you to have other jobs in real life. ;)
-

Yes it can be level as profession if youre earning good in this job but not all.can earn decent and can have regular payment unless youre a regular positioned crypto manager or a staff of certain firm. If those professionals you label earninh good then you can also earned from being part of a crypto society or good firm. I have a friwnd who got hired to be marketing officer or sales representative of an.exchange and got a 1500$ monthly compensation not bad right? But if you will say bounty its not and cannot be considered as a job.
-
Yes, cryptocurrency can be considered a profession. For example, I now devote less time to basic work than cryptocurrency. Since I really see great potential in this
-
No we can't say crypto trading be considered as a profession because every profession needs a recognition. So we can't say it as a profession.
-
for people who is not working and they have deep knowledge on trading, it should be..mostly people i've know is doing a full time in crypto currency
-
Many people are engaged only in trading and earn good money on it, which could not make money on regular work. They devote all their free time to cryptocurrencies and therefore their activities can without a doubt be called a profession.
-
I think it can be called a profession. There are many people who already work on trading and it is popular nowadays. Trading in crypto looks good to take profits. But I advise you to have other jobs in real life. ;)
It is interesting to see someone with a different opinion than others. I see most people agree that crypto trading cannot be called as a profession but you think it can. Yeah, for unemployed people, it can be called for their temporary profession. However, as you said, we need jobs in real life. We cannot depend on crypto trading only.
-
I think that it will depend on what kind of crypto trader we are.
If we have known good knowledge and practice of crypto trading, and we become a daily-trader that can make us big profits, it can be considered as a professional. However, it must be in an along-term profession, not only a moment.
-
To answer a topic like this, we must first know what a profession is and according to the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, a profession is any paid occupation which involves training and a formal qualification. Crypto trading can be considered a profession because it comes with its own rules, skills, and knowledge which must be acquired through training and other forms of lessons before an individual can have a success trading in crypto.
-
I think with us trading in krypto, I make trade a side trade, I focus more on my office work, so now I also like to trade krypto.
-
Crypto trading can be considered a profession... The skills, knowledge and strategies are acquired over time which makes one an experienced trader. Many people devote their time to crypto trading only, that's the work they engage in and they make good money. So, yes it can be considered a profession.
-
Crypto trading is a profession for me. I think it is very clear, we dedicate time and efforts for this work. Moreover, it also needs good understanding both for the management of assets and viewing market trends. I think it deserves to call as a profession, mate.
-
It can and that is the best opportunity to continue to trade in cryptocurrency.
Like my husband who focuses on cryptocurrency trading and has a real trade job, but my husband is focused on trading in cryptocurrency. Love My Husband :-*
-
Crypto traders are a profession that can make a lot of money when you get profits after trading.
Yes this is a profession where not everyone can trade well, requires experience and a long time to become an expert trader.
-
Yes, i think because many people are learning how the market can be manipulated and studies are needed so you can go with the flow when you are trading with othres .
-
for those who do not have permanent employment but can have a lot of capital, trading in the crypto world is made as a main job. If they have expertise in feeling to speculate, I am sure they will be the big investors in the crypto world.
-
I think it's a new profession. You can be treated as a crypto trader if you are full-time engaged in trading and earn for living by doing it.
-
I think this is a profession, since crypto is a very complex topic and in order to study it, much less to work with it, you need a lot of knowledge and experience. Therefore, if you practice every day with crypto and make a profit, then this can be called work.
-
Crypto investment is a side business for me. I diverted some of my savings to cryptocurrency long time ago and started trading. Nowadays i slowed down a little bit but i think you can earn good amounts of money doing daily trading. But daily trading needs hundred percent concentration of course. To sum up, i can say that if you have a good capital, you can do crypto trading as a profession.
-
This is some kind of a profession to me, but this is more like part-time job. When you are really really into cryptocurrency market, I think that you can call it your profession, but it's not equal with professions like doctors, lawyers etc.
-
Maybe in the future, but I don't think it can be considered as one now. I can only imagine my friends making fun of me, because I called myself a professional crypto trader.
-
For some people who spend their time for crypto as fulltime ob, they can be considered as the profession because the crypto world is also making us money. Now, the profession is not only working at the office and wearing the uniform. Working in crypto is also similar to be said as profession.
-
Cryptocurrency trading is a really profitable and interesting profession. However, not everyone can master it. The main part of the people who start doing this goes away after a short time.
-
I have friends who are engaged in trading and earn big money on it. Every day they devote a lot of time to this activity. Without a doubt, crypto trading can be considered a profession, since they are interested in this field, they enjoy their work and of course earn money with the help of cryptocurrencies.
-

As you have stated, doctor, layers, engineer etc are all type of professions in the world and i will add that crypto Trading is also a profession. One thing of note is that crypto Trading requires certain skills to efficiently trade and at such, it can only be profitable to those who has learnt properly the act of trading crypto. Again, it becomes a profession when an individual can trade to make a leaving plus the experience acquired to make a successful life time trading.
-

im doing it now :) cheers from indonesia
-
I think it can. I know quite a number of people that can beat their chest and say crypto trading is their profession because they do it 24/7
-

Without a doubt, crypto trading can be considered a profession, since they are interested in this field, they enjoy their work and of course earn money with the help of cryptocurrencies.
It could, depending on the intentions of each of us, if we choose cryptocurrency to be our main job, we must work totally and focus on crypto not half - half in running it.
-
I think it can. I know quite a number of people that can beat their chest and say crypto trading is their profession because they do it 24/7
Doing it 24/7 is possible as long as you don't have any job to do, you can have trading activities as you prefer independently. Trading by profession needs skills in order to acquire knowledge as well as managing your asset towards earning profit. If you're trading independently, then you're the boss of your own job so you won't be pressure by time as you only monitor the price as you drink your coffee with you.
-
In my opinion, this should be the personal opinion of each of us. Someone may consider this a profession, since this activity is not similar to others, and someone is just enthusiasm, because cryptocurrency cannot provide us with a constant profit because of its high price volatility.
-
Hell no. Trading in this kind of speculative & unregulated market cannot be seen as a professional job. You can earn money and put a nametag saying "Crypto trader/investor" but I believe you shouldn't advice other people.
-
I Will only tell you to read more on what the word profession means and after that you can judge it yourself. But from my opinion I think it's not a profession.
-
Yes why not? There are tons of stock market traders which is a profession. So why not call crypto trading a profession? But you have to be working full time and learning more about trading and technical analysis and fundamental analysis. Buying and selling some coins should not be considered as trading.
-

Of course yes cryptocurrencies trading can be considered as a professionals especially in the income source, it is like doctors, lawyer, engineer especially in apply of tax to the government. Usually the professionals will pay the tax for their government higher than the investors of cryptocurrencies.
I am thinking about the cryptocurrencies trading as a professionals on the paying tax and i don't think the tittle of professionals of the school, that's why i like making investment in securities token on cryptocurrencies because the tax will be paid lower than a professionals traders cryptocurrencies.
-
I think it is not as profession needs formal training or schooling and will be qualified. Maybe trading is a passion as every one can learn about trading despite of their poor education.
-
Yes, the field of cryptocurrency is a really interesting activity. Here you can earn a lot more than in regular work. So we can safely say that this is a profession.
-

Many of us engage either in trading/investing. Some are into it full time while others are not. So can it be numbered as a profession?
yes of course, a cryptocurrency trader or a traditional market trader can have it as a profession. Many banks has individual or workers whose job is only to trade for them. They are more or less known as professional traders
-
dunia crypto.
menurut saya trading di dunia cryptocurrency
I think trading in the world of cryptocurrency can be used as a job as long as you already have a large capital for investment and savings for living expenses. Focuss as a bounty hunter also promises because there are so many bounties in the crypto world.
-

Many of us engage either in trading/investing. Some are into it full time while others are not. So can it be numbered as a profession?
I think, I am not agree crypto trading be considered as a profession. Because I see the crypto market is unpredictable. I have done it for side job to spend my spare time. We must have a real job to fulfil your need. I think It is good way to life
-
of course you can, because crypto trading is something that is done anytime anywhere and if there is internet access it can be done. if it makes a profit it can be said to be a "trader" profession.
-
I am of the opinion that digital currency cryptocurrency trading is just a filler of leisure time, or as a side job. I never thought that this trade as a profession. Too much risk that must be taken if this trade as a profession. Its volatility is always changing without being able to guess when the arrival is one of his considerations.
-
I think only people who are lazy to work who are unemployed crypto trading as a profession. Their jobs are only smart if they do not want to try real. Too much risk is suffered if this trade as a profession. Its high volatility is one reason that makes me unable accept this trade as a profession.
-
In my opinion, this should be the personal opinion of each of us. Someone may consider this a profession, since this activity is not similar to others, and someone is just enthusiasm, because cryptocurrency cannot provide us with a constant profit because of its high price volatility.
It is a profession. In the future, there will be special hight schools for crypto traders, and I do not have any doubts about it. Now, some call it a hobby, but in reality, it is a very serious business.
-
It is a profession. In the future, there will be special hight schools for crypto traders, and I do not have any doubts about it. Now, some call it a hobby, but in reality, it is a very serious business.
I also think the same. It is not a hobby for sure, it is a serious job. Not all people can trade correctly with good skills. To be a good trader is not easy, we need experiences and knowledge. Then, a trader must be careful and confident in every decision.
-
if you achieve a good result and it brings you a steady profit
then trade can be considered a profession
-
For me anything you are into studying or practicing is a profession, so I will yes it can be considered a profession maybe not legally but personally.
-
I think that crypto trading is a professional job. A trade is any trade or skill that requires certain skill, are considered as a profession.
In nutshell, a profession is a any type of work that needs special training or a particular skill. Trading activities requires special training or skill to understand market statistics and price movement.
-
I think it could be used as a profession, because being a trader requires patience and thoroughness in assessing crypto value itself
-
I never thought that crypto trading is a profession. I am here just to fill my spare time. I don't want to be at risk of acting, especially in crypto trading.
-
I adopted crypto trading as a profession in 2017 and earned quite good money very quickly by participating in bounties and airdrops but from 2018 to till date I could not earn that much that I can say I am satisfied with my earnings but now we have again high expectation of bull market so in bull market we can earn again good money and I would advice to newbies to take this profession as a part time until and unless you make regular good money from this market.
-
i guess yes! as long as you are given your more attention and focus to a certain thing it could be called profession. if you are engage in cryptocurrency and make it your way of life then you are chosing this thing.as.your profession. Analyzing things and making decision to buy or sell a crypto needs deep knowledge and focus thats why, crypto trading for me is a profession.
-
There are different types of professions in the world today, lawyers, doctors, engineers, bankers e.t.c its all about being good at what you do. My curiosity is about Crypto. Many of us engage either in trading/investing. Some are into it full time while others are not. So can it be numbered as a profession?
Of course Bro, many of my friends here work as Cryptocurrency traders. They spend their time continuing to trade Cryptocurrency, even if their income is very high compared to factory workers.
-
Of course, we can consider that the cryptocurrency is a profession, because for many people the cryptocurrency is the main job and brings money for living
-

If someone has done Cryptocurrency trading in their daily lives, then this can be said that trading Cryptocurrency is a profession.
-
Some traders earn (or lose) thousands of USD daily, so, of course, it can be called a profession.
-
I would say that crytpo trading could be considered a profession, especially if you do so at a professional rate. In all reality, it comes down to whether or not you could support yourself (or your family) with the money you make. I think it is definitely possible, but would be tough if you are not an expert. I know there are people who trade on Bitmex as their full time job, but that is not necessarily the same thing.
-
Yes, cryptocurrency can be a profession but you need an expertise to do that. It's a risky business and success does not come easy.
-
I think we can say trading as a profession. Trading is a serious job, it needs skills and knowledge. Not all people can trade with good ways. You should know good coins to trade. Because of these reasons, it is suitable to call by a profession.
