how high can it go or better to ask, will it pump before and dump after* ?

Normally if a hard fork is announced, the coin pumps till a week before the fork and then the dump starts in the last week before the Fork. You can check the case with Callisto, the price of Ethereum Classic (1 ETC) reached 0.0033 BTC (~50% increase) a week before the fork from about 0.0022 BTC and settled back to around 0.0025 BTC during the Hard Fork. That might be the case for Monero aswell.

Does anyone know if Poloniex will distribute the hardfork?
