Title: Bitcoin value

I want to understand something here, many people are of the opinion that Bitcoin has lost it's value no.
My question is this, is the value of Bitcoin solely determined by it's price pertime?

Bitcoin value is based by supply and demand. Negative news can kill the demand for bitcoin.
