I dont think so! Japan is the 3rd largest economy after U.S and China respectively. in short they are not poor and they dont need a bitcoin to improve its economy Because they are already a super rich country Japan adopted Bitcoin because of its new technology and application in modern japan.

I think Japan and other technologically advanced countries in Asia are more open for experiments with new tech and their governments are also more interest in it as a potential new asset.
