Is it good to buy after ICO because price may drop?

At this moment it is good to buy tokens after ICO because the market is down.
Price of the tokens will drop below ICO price so this decision is risky but let it be so once you have decided to buy tokens in the market than during ICO.

I prefer established coins rather than ICO, which currently continues to emerge because the risk is very big for me and the crypto market continues to decline, this is my consideration to prefer safe crypto investment with potential and proven coins in the market.

Actually it is a very big problem. In-fact,this problem mainly affects the overall investment.At this moment few projects that immediately after the listing with rise in price. I really marvel at this it has been a new trend for ICO,at the listing of a project in an exchange is cheaper than the ICO price sometime i actually fell pity for investors but investors can as well buy at that cheap price to balance the losses.

yes, according to my experience, I saw the ico project when it was available on exchange will dump up to 60% or more and get back up after a week or a month

Yes, I prefer do that. I bought after ICO because It is cheaper. I hold it and wait until the price will rise then I sell it.

This is common these days but we never can tell what the next few months will be after this long bear market, it may be better during ICO.

It's better to buy after the ICO ends and after the first listing. Because prices will usually be dumped below the ICO price. So that's when it's time to buy and save for investment.

Yes its partly true most of the time.
There are some icos that when they get listed on exchanges, their prices skyrocket and some their prices tanks below even ico price.

Yes, some of the coins after Iico will drop in price, I see trading volume and buying when prices are cheap, I will buy more when the market is red, besides being a bounty hunter I always invest in new coins after Ico.ini is very profitable.

I've done that before. much I get from cheap prices and big profits. 70% of tokens from the ico project will be down when registered on the exchange

No assurance if the tokens will drop when hit the exchange. May or may not drop so your critical analysis must be prioritized to define your future. Normally the new altcoins once the market is red the tokens will drop lower than ICO price.

I usually buy ICO coins during the release of bounty rewards to bounty hunters who participated in that project
because the price will surely drop and when the price drops it is way cheaper than buying in the actual ICO. But
it is also risky so it is better to invest with due diligence.

Yes, the price of the token when it is included in the stock exchange is definitely under the ICO. Prices will go up but will wait longer. And if you want to buy coins, of course, that's a very good thing and you can use long-term investments.

I think to avoid this, some ICOs require people who buy at below the ICO price to lock their tokens up for some period of time. Some stage the lockups so that they don’t all release at the same time.

for me its a yes,.. some of the project have high ICO rate but after the TGE or publish in an exchange price fall down..

The strategy to buy after ICO is interesting enough, however I think it will be wiser to buy during ICO period. There are many discounts if you buy in ICO and also contribute to the successful of an ICO.

If it was during 2017 ,I would have advised you buy ICos because you know then it's a normal scenario to see coins doing times 5 on getting listed.
No one would be able to buy.
But that's not the case now as coins are far cheaper when listed than the ico price, although not all coins.

Less demand means lower prices. All the other coins, with a few exceptions, follow Bitcoin’s trend, even if there are no direct trading pairs yet (ETH, which most of the altcoins are traded for, follows Bitcoin’s trend very closely).

Probably in this bear market that's a good idea. It seems like anymore, prices drop after the ICO or after a bounty / airdrop is distributed. I haven't done research whether or not many are increasing after ICO, just speaking from personal experience.

There are some coins that increasing despite of the market condition. Some altcoins went to the bottom from ICO price. Now could be the perfect time to buy your dream coin once it decline.

Almost every new coins and token now are 90% below their ICO price because of the bear market and this decline
hurts a lof investors of those particular projects.

I also wait for the coin to get listed because sometime coin takes times for listing so I prefer to buy when coin get listed so that time we have enough time to analyse the coin properly whether it will be probitable to buy or not but in ICO stage we get good bonus as well. Last year it was not like that coin listed below the ICO price and this year it happen normally just because of the bearish market trend. So sometime its good to buy after ICO.

Yes, the prices are much lower than the ICOs price because of crypto price decline, and a good opportunity to buy more coins. However, the current situation are not helping investors and even enthusiasts, i think it is causing lost of interest and the results could be more adverse in ICOs participation and crypto price fall.

Sometime is is yes, better to buy on exchanges because the prices are lower than ICOs. But it cannot be applied for all ICOs, some coin ICOs are cheaper in ICOs and there many discounts there. The low prices on exchanges are not happened for all time.

I think for now it is not good to invest in ICO, especially IOCs that have platforms are the same as existing coins.
I also see ICOs in South Korea starting a lot of good ones, such as TEMCO, VANTA and Contents Protocol but all of these coins have not been listed in large markets such as Binance and HitBTC.

Well with the new system which this new start-ups uses now when listing, I think it's better to buy after ico because it's more cheaper there are no difference anymore

buying tokens after ICO I think is quite productive if the HC project is likely that the token will rise again to the ICO price, now that is not recommended if buying ICO tokens whose sales are not until HC is difficult to rise if the price has dropped during the first listing
